Above a gorgeous old fashioned pub that was well managed. The layout of the room was lovely. PIN codes are on the door so you just up and go the next morning. Perfect if you just want to get your head down and don’t want to be bothered.
Nothing I didn’t like. However. In hope that staff see this…. When showering and the cold tap is on.. water is leaking from the tap. It looks like the tap has some how risen and may somehow need to be tightened. I didn’t shower for too long due to this as I noticed it was then going across onto the floor. Ps I’m no plumber🤣 just wanted to mention it before it becomes a bigger problem!

The staff member who checked us in was lovely and gave us a tour. There were hangers in room for clothing, drawers for more items, tea, coffee and biscuits in the room with a kettle. The room looked very luxurious and very pretty. The bed was soft and comfortable. There wasn’t much noise even though it was a pub. We had a lovely stay and will 100% book again. It’s much nicer than every other we have stayed in Stoke-on-Trent. Location was great as we were able to go to multiple restaurants for food. The bathroom was amazing, clean and lovely shower. The room made us feel right at home and relaxed straight away. Lovely people there and such a lovely stay, thank you!
Everything was perfect. The drawers just had a bit of dust and bits of some kind but easily fixable with a wipe.

This venue was a lovely place for us to stay while we attended a friends wedding nearby so it was a short walk to nearby amenities. The room itself was spacious, luxurious and very welcoming and comfortable. The pub has an amazing drinks selection, such friendly and helpful staff and want to go back just to spend more time there. The keyless system of accessing the room and checking out made coming and going effortless and they did a great job making sure we were settled in and had everything we needed.
There were no issues for us to report on, I am confident that if we did have an issue though that they would have taken this on board and done anything they could to remedy where possible

Room was spotlessly clean and the facilities were of a high standard. Spacious room with a comfortable bed and pillows, fridge to keep drinks etc cool, spacious shower with lots of hot water. Tea and coffee facilities in the room and easy walking distance from the town centre. Staff in the pub were really friendly when we checked in and had a drink during the day
Only downside for us was that as we visited midweek by the time we got back from meeting family for a meal the pub was closed - if we came again we would travel at the weekend so that we could make more use of what is a super local pub

Lovely lady (Blonde, Assuming one of the landlady's) Was ever so welcoming and showed me around and how to gain access ect. Was really friendly and for a 'single' woman travelling alone she made me feel safe. Thank you! The room was lovely and clean, the power from the shower was excellent. I travel every week for work and this was one of the best places i've stayed. Few spaces around the back of the property but luckily i arrived early so i could park.
The only slight issue and it's nothing to do with The Victoria was the sound from people talking outside and the cars and sirens. I was at the front so i didn't sleep much over the two nights (Didn't know i was a light sleeper), It is the main road however again this is NOTHING to do with The Victoria.

A warm welcome from a friendly young man who even carried my suitcase to my room. The room was very clean and tastefully decorated with a comfortable bed. A good supply of tea and coffee and a small fridge. A good-sized bathroom with a bath. Central location and fair price.
No real criticism. Of course you can hear music from the pub below in the evening sometimes. My suggestion is to go and join in as it's a lovely traditional pub with a cosy open fire.

The host is always very welcoming. We have stayed here a few times when visiting our son at university. Fantastic location, only a short walk into town. The rooms are very clean, They always leave a selection of teas, hot chocolate and coffee with fresh milk and a biscuit each. The bed is really comfy. We always get a good night's sleep. The pub itself is really lovely too.
There isn't anything we didn't like.

Don't let the outside pebble dash at the back fool you! What a lovely place to stay! Welcoming hosts, a clean, bright, big room & a lovely pub below. . Most comfy bed I've slept in for a long time, even down to perfect duvet & pillows in lovely white cotton. Everything's great, coffee, tea & even a fridge with milk! Not left wanting anything, decent bathroom & great strong shower too.
That I was only there for 2 nights...Esp when driving home after my course took over 2 hrs as M6 was closed!!

The location was great, not far from the town centre. There's parking around the back. Staff were very welcoming, helpful, and professional. The room was clean and tidy, fresh linen and towels etc..., smart TV and hot drink facilities as well as some complementary bottles of water in the minifridge. Awesome locals pub downstairs with guest ales on 👍
Check out time was 10am, which felt a tad too early, but this shouldn't sully your view of staying here. We'll be staying again, I'm sure of it (if they'll have us back?).

I've stayed here alot over the past few months and it's an amazing little place, the staff are very welcoming and always smiling. If you have any queries they do their best to accommodate. The beds are very comfy and the rooms are a fair size too. Considering its above a pub its very quiet. If anyone is in this neck of the woods I'd definitely suggest this little gem to stay at. Town isn't too far away and there are loads of places to eat at literally less than a 5 min walk ( depending on leg length haha )
