Really well appointed room - large, clean, modern and nicely furnished to a high standard. Really comfortable bed. Food really excellent - both dinner and breakfast. Friendly staff coped well my with food intolerances which is always appreciated. Plenty of car parking on site. Recommended and will stay again.
I have no negatives from my stay but a couple of notes for info: 1] Handy (15mins) for Oulton Park Circuit but I would not bring my trailer here due to car park shape / lack of other suitable parking nearby. 2] Rooms are above pub in old building on village main road - so expect some pub / light traffic noise in front facing rooms till about 11pm.

First time staying. The staff were fantastic, very helpful and very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. I forgot to ask for an invoice when I left but a quick phone call and it was in my inbox within seconds. I had a small couple of issues with the evening meal but they were resolved immediately. The pint of beer I had was well kept. The atmosphere of the pub and the layout was very inviting. Breakfast was great, it set me up for the day. The room was spotless and very comfortable. I am a frequent traveller with my job and I wish all my hotel stays were as good as this. A proper old pub with superb service. I am looking forward to going back.
Nothing.

I can't speak highly enough of The Badger Inn. I love staying there and always have a great experience. Phil, Grant, Julie and the team do their utmost to ensure you have a lovely time, while the food is tremendous. This time I had a delightful Brie and Fig salad, followed by a gorgeous slow cooked beef shin, crispy onions, tenderstem broccoli, sticky red cabbage & rich gravy with some dauphinoise potatoes to die for before, finishing with a winter fruit mess. All washed down with my favourite pint of Titanic Plum Porter. The room was also great and can't ask for any more at this price point. Thanks again to all and can't wait to come back.
The Wi-Fi could have been better but didn't detract from a wonderful stay.

Very clean, cozy and well equipped room. The food available was really good — fresh, tasty, and nicely presented. The atmosphere throughout the inn was warm and welcoming. Parking was available at Inn. The staff were very friendly & helpful.
Wifi, struggled a bit when I had a video call with my family, I wouldn't say it was slow for normal browsing but could do with a little more bandwidth to support data heavy actvities like video calls or streaming.

The pub and restaurant have a very relaxed and cozy atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Dinner was superb. I was looked after by a most attentive waiter - the level of service was that of a Michelin star restaurant. I had the vegan ice-cream and apple pie on his recommendation for dessert (I'm not vegan). It was I think the best apple pie I have ever had. Breakfast was of an equally high standard. Unfortunately I arrived late and left early so did not have a chance to enjoy the beautiful outside terrace. I'd definitely recommend a stay at the Badger Inn
Nothing. It was all lovely.

We stayed for one night during the week. It was a very quite location. Due to having to leave at 6am in the morning before breakfast was available we did not choose that option so did not pay for something we could not have. The room was clean and décor was pleasant with a very large smart TV. Staff were pleasant.
We booked for an evening meal which had a nice setting but menu was slightly limited and all the choices seemed to lack vegetables. We did not have starters. My wife has an allergy to fresh green products and so asked if she could have some carrots or mushrooms but the only option was some extra chips which we refused however despite this she was still given the extra chips !! which then went to waste. Desserts seemed over priced. I chose to have ice cream at £6 for 3 scoops but they were tiny.

We got a lovely welcome on arrival. All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. Our room was a good size with a smart bathroom. I liked both the bed linen and the curtains. The large television was ideal for watching Wimbledon. We ate in, unusually for us, the star of the meal was the dessert. The choice of desserts offered tempting alternatives to the usual fare. We chose a marmalade brioche bread and butter pudding which was outstanding, my only regret was that we could not manage a second helping. The breakfast next morning was excellent, the best I can remember, even the orange juice had been carefully selected. The garden deserves a special mention, being a delightful display of flowers and shrubs which were able to enjoy in the evening whilst drinking some of the very pleasant cask ale available. Despite being the night of the England match we couldn’t have been better looked after.
Unfortunately, a bird left a very large and messy calling card on our windscreen overnight which took a bit of cleaning off in the morning. Probably not a good idea to park under a tree.

The room was lovely, though the bathroom was very small. The breakfast wasn't included in the room price, but was reasonably priced and tasty, catering for my gluten free condition. We had an excellent meal there and the service was friendly and efficient throughout.
The room was a bit noisy, though it is a pub, so to be expected. Our room faced onto a road, so there was some traffic noise. The window was double glazed.

The place was superb, set in a country pub within a quiet village. really great staff and food. I ate here every night and it was high quality with good value for money. the room was super clean and huge roof heights made it feel super spacious. the room was refreshed every day and the breakfast was divine.
The whole stay would have been 10/10 but for one thing. the WIFI was none existent. this was only an issue as I was travelling for work. the cellular network reception was also poor in the area (not the property's fault).

We have an evening meal which was very good - it was busy but we didn't have to wait long for our food - well cooked and tasty We actually had a sunny early evening so could sit outside and enjoy the patio and garden area which was very well maintained with lots of lovely pots with flowers. The room was exceptionally clean
We wished we had been told that the bathroom was very small - we wold have chosen a different room - a larger person or elderly person would have struggled to get in through the door and also into the shower the door here is also very narrow. There needs to be a shelf in the shower as the shower gel was placed on the floor, if you don't want to get your hair wet this was a problem. The duvet needs to be larger, we kept pulling it off each other during the night
