Lovely location just outside Chester. Great car park. It is very easy to get to park n ride facilities which then takes you into Chester city centre .. The staff were excellent extremely friendly especially the lady on reception and the young gentleman who was working the bar and on reception. I would be extremely happy if they were working for me . Highly recommend great value for money. I have stayed all over the world this was not the poshest place I’ve stayed by any means but it was excellent and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again it to recommend it .
There was nothing not to like .

We stayed just for one night on our way home. We had a late-ish check-in and an early check out, so didn't make use of many of the facilities or eat there, but the room (Number 1 on first floor at the back overlooking the garden) was perfectly fine and adequate for a stopover. The room was spacious and clean and had an electric fan which was welcome on a warm night. The welcome was warm and friendly by Rachel at the front desk. Good value for money. We'll probably stay again the next time we do the same journey.
The bed was comfortable but just a double 140cm... a king-size would be better and there's room enough for one.

We had a very comfortable stay, the room was perfect for an overnight stay. The young man that greeted us was very friendly and polite. We had a smaller room but it had everything we needed and it was very clean. Bed was comfortable, there was tea, coffee, hot chocolate, complimentary soap, mini shower gel and shampoo also provided. I was provided with a hairdryer when I asked for one. We were at the front of the property, so were close to the main road, ear plugs were provided, but these weren’t necessary for us and we weren’t disturbed. There was a fan if needed. Tv was a decent size. We didn’t eat at the pub, so can’t comment on the food, but we did enjoy a cold drink in the beer garden. Ideal location, just a few minutes from Chester centre and from the zoo. This was excellent value for money and we wouldn’t hesitate to book again if staying in the area.
The pillows weren’t as fluffy as I liked, but that’s personal preference. The long mirror was a bit difficult to get to as the little storage unit was in the way. It might be worth repositioning the mirror to the wall next to the bedside table as there would be more space. Not a big issue though as there is also a mirror in the bathroom.

The room was well appointed and clean. We had fresh towels every day without asking. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast menu was interesting and quite wide-ranging. The Breakfast Baps were excellent. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful.
The bar closed at 10:00pm, which is a little early. The setting was not quite as rural as I had anticipated, but the location was handy for a short drive into Chester.

Pound for pound, one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. Everything was excellent. Room was fresh and clean, with plenty of space for comfortable double bed and a sofa. Flat screen TV. Sockets bedside the bed. Bathroom was immaculately clean. Hot and powerful shower. Fresh towels, bin emptied, and bed was made everyday. Free WiFi, and loads of free parking Restaurant/Bar was small, but of high quality. A real focus on customer service. The price I paid was budget, but the experience far exceeded the cost. Highly recommended
There is nothing that would put me off booking again. If I was nit picking, the road it's situated on is quite busy, and my room was at the front. It wasn't overly loud though, and they do provide complimentary ear plugs in your room.

I loved the food it was 5* restaurant quality best food I have tasted great value for money to & the staff were amazing so kind & chatty & always happy to help & always had smiles on there faces really great staff couldn’t of asked for better hospitality! Room was spotless great location all in all great little beautiful place I will defiantly be back! & I recommend it highly!
I was disappointed in the shower as it didn’t have much power so not much water was coming through. An I had abit of an issue with the neighbour banging doors an slamming things after me asking him politely to be abit more aware of other people! But continued to slam/bang other than that was great stay

The hotel was a surprise for us as we had booked it purely on its location close to the Park and Ride into Chester. We were warmly welcomed by Simon. The room was very clean and spacious with en-suite facilities as requested. We came back to the hotel in the evening and decided to eat in the restaurant which was quite full, always a good sign! The very friendly staff helped with the menu and we finally settled on the Burger Offer and it was really quite amazing. We had a good nights sleep and enjoyed a great breakfast before continuing on our journey. Would definitely come again when we are in the area.

Room was brilliant, ground floor with access straight outside. Patio door lead out to a paved area and then into the garden. Would be absolute great to take the dog. I can see this would be an ideal place for a party as it felt like you were in your own home. Breakfast was an extra cost but was surprised juices and tea and coffee was also a separate cost which meant the price for two full english breakfasts including drinks came to about £33. This does seem abit steep but saying that the food was excellent and the produce used was top quality. With loads of parking available this is an ideal place to stay if visiting Chester for a few days as park and ride is literally a few minutes up the road. We will hopefully have the need to return again.

As soon as we arrived we were welcomed straight away, shown to our room which was lovely and clean. It had everything you need for a few nights away. We ate in the restaurant that evening after a long drive and the food was amazing!!! Well worth the money and you definitely got what you paid for!! Location was fantastic, took 10-15 mins to get into Chester and only 10 mins away from Cheshire Oaks. Overall a lovely stay and would stay here again!!

Staff were great and stayed on to let me check in late as I was staying after work because of the snow. The room was clean and pleasant and they'd made provisions for an extra heater just in case which was appreciated. I arrived late and left early so can't comment on the bar or restaurant service.
Generally great but a few things to be aware of. My room was in the annex, I'm 5ft 4 and my feet were almost off the end of the bed so not ideal for tall people and the bed does rattle a little every time a lorry goes past. As a last minute booking the value was definitely there but I'm not sure I'd book it as a destination.
