Just about everything. Initially a couple of teething troubles with one or two bathroom fittings but these were promptly and efficiently attended to. Attention very good in general. Breakfast excellent, room maybe(?) a little cramped (which bothered my friend more than me!), bed very comfortable.

The bathroom teething problems as mentioned above. Also the door-lock was rather stiff and difficult to open from the inside, especially for two chaps not in their first flush of youth(!), including one who had had a (slight) stroke less than 6 months ago. My lower ranking re 'comfort' relates to the lack of armchairs, but there again space was an obvious issue, and one can always just lie on the bed instead!

This is another one in a long line of budget hotels that I've stayed in and would use again. Warm friendly. Welcome by nice staff and perfectly adequate room and facilities for price paid and all spotlessly clean. Of particular note was a nice selection of decent fresh fruit at breakfast, not every hotel in this grade offers this and in fact the fruit selection was better than a couple of the major chains. Well done

If I were being super picky, I would personally prefer dispensers of soap and shower gel in bathroom compared to the soap bar and individual bottle of body wash provided. But this is as I say being picky Wi-Fi was poor but was told of this on check-in. So well done for being honest about that

The hotel was just 5 minutes walk from the station. The breakfast was amazing, a good selection of fresh fruits and really good yogurts. I tried the full English, the first day, it was lovely but I couldn't finish it !! I went for a lighter option of poached eggs on toast with bacon/sausage, better size for me.!! All the staff were really lovely and helpful . I had a nice sized room which was very clean and kept clean every day. Overall, a very good experience, thank you !!

I felt a bit cold, there was no heating on. Coming from Spain, I'd had quite a big drop in temperature which someone from the UK may not have felt ! There was nothing else I could fault it on !!

I liked that it was close to the train station. I like the staff. I like how at the last minute they put my group in their Hotel. I liked how nothing was too much for them. I liked how all the staff were happy and pleasant. I like how they gave us plates for our evening meal. They did carry my suitcase up the stairs.

That I had go up stairs to my bedroom, all the bedrooms should be on the ground floor. I didn't like that they didn't tell us it was safe to enter the building when the fire alarms went off. That they don't have a booking on line page. The bedroom was small and it should be bigger. They was no vegetarian sausages.

Check in was easy and we received a warm welcome from the lady at reception. Our room was perfect for my little boy who has autism. Our suite had a spacious adjoining room with two comfortable single beds and a tv for him watch his cartoons while playing with his balloons. He was so comfortable he almost didn't want to leave. Breakfast was also lovely the staff were very friendly and accommodating. There was also lots of sockets for appliances and a handy storage area for jackets and shoes. This was also our little boys first ever stay in a hotel and it was such positive experience for him. We can not thank the staff enough for making this the case.

The pillows were a little thin. The one slight issue during our 2 night stay and it is more of preference than a negative. It didn't affect our stay at all.

Close to rail station and quiet location tucked away from main streets. The staff were polite, friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good. We could leave our bags at reception after checking out until later in the day when we were leaving town.

My son heard the TV in the next door room. The tvs are on the walls. Too little sound proofing to do that. Should’ve put them at least on an outside wall not next to neighbours head through a thin partition wall.

The full breakfast was excellent and served very promptly after I had ordered - no fears about missing my return train! On the Sunday when I needed to leave before breakfast service began, I was still able to have a light breakfast in the dining room.

For a single bedroom I don't think there was any need for a bolt on the bathroom door. However replacement of the clothes hook which had evidently once been there would have been useful!

Could have done with a lift but was a last minute booking and I forgot to ask. The lovely lady on reception offered to see if she could move some things around but I didn’t want to be a bother she also offered to carry my bag which I declined. However when I left my room key hanging on the coat hook on my door I was only too happy to let her go and retrieve it for me which she did with a smile

I usually stay in the big chain hotels when working away, so didn't know what to expect when staying here. I need not have worried, it was absolutely fine. Some say dated, but I found it very well maintained and spotlessly clean. Staff wonderful.

Feel like I am nit-picking here, but the mattress was very soft and very springy. Just sitting on it compressed it fully to the base.

Breakfast had 4 choices of hot breakfast, fruit, yoghurt and cereal with a selection of drinks. All of it was delicious and they went out of their way to do a sausage sandwich for my husband who couldn't make breakfast. The room was clean and beds were very comfortable. It was warm in the hotel

The Internet didn't work in room as stated. The room was a strange design so only one person could watch the TV.
