The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and truly family-style — we felt right at home. The location is absolutely spectacular, surrounded by nature and very peaceful. The restaurant was a real highlight: excellent food, beautifully presented, and definitely highly recommended! The restaurant alone is worth the trip!
Our room was lovely with an amazing view, though we would have appreciated a bit more space for the price of the room. Our bathroom didn’t have a window, and there was only one bedside table instead of one on each side of the bed — very small details that did not really impact the quality of our stay. We felt differently about the additional charge for the dog. The place is pet-friendly including the restaurant, which we really appreciated, but we felt that the £25 charge for one night for our small Jack Russell was a bit excessive — especially considering there were no added services or amenities provided for our dog.

The room was beautiful, full of gifts and an incredible view of the countryside. They were also incredibly accommodating of our very nervous dog. It was our first time taking her to a public place and she was great and the staff made it very easy for her!
Leaving, it was too soon

Fabulous cottage. Lovely decor, selection of teas coffee, milk, apple juice and biscuits 😋, very nice quality toiletries, the comfiest bed I've ever slept in ( all 3 of us agreed on this), pillows were perfect - unanimous again! The cottage is on a quiet country lane and was very quiet and peaceful. We went to the Hollies farm shop around 20 mins away and stocked up on food for dinner, the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meal. Breakfast was delicious - fruits, cereals and pastries as well as freshly prepared full English. Can't comment on the TV as we were enjoying ourselves too much to even switch it on!

Our room was absolutely beautiful (Tatton) spotlessly clean and warm Hotel was lovely very clean but nowhere for residents to sit and relax with a drink as all the tables were set for dinning . All the food we had was very nice except the beef stroganoff, I expected it to be cream sauce but instead it came with a tomato sauce which was unpleasant, think that should be explained on the menu , I was offered an alternative but by then my husband had finished his main , nobody checked back on us . Views are amazing Staff lovely Breakfast delicious We had a lovely stay but wouldn't rush back because no relaxing area.

This is a gorgeous little Inn. It is out in the countryside. It's absolutely beautiful scenery around. Room spotless complimentary waters. Beds really comfortable can't fault it. Shout out to every member of staff who was so helpful and lovely. A special shout out to Emmie who helped us get an uber as we was struggling. She was lovely and an asset to your Inn. Happy and smiley and polite and helpful. The supervisor came to chat to us too he was nice, helpful and the staff are just lovely. Breakfast was delicious and served promptly Thank you for a lovely stay. Highly recommended
Nothing perfect!!

The Pheasant is a fabulous place to stay. Every member of staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The food was great but the breakfast was the best - the best breakfast we have ever had! There was a big selection of starters, including proper juices, not the usual awful carton ones you usually get elsewhere and the hot dishes (we had a full English and a smashed avo with poached eggs) were excellent. The location is glorious, with views over the Cheshire Plain to the Welsh mountains. Our room was comfortable with nice extras like posh toiletries, tissues and cushions.
There was nothing to dislike!

We loved the whole visit to the pheasant inn, we booked on route to the area. Looking through properties, the pheasant stood out to myself , for the ratings, description and photos. We arrived from Suffolk to a warm welcome, very efficient check in , a beautiful room and within 30 minutes were in the beautiful pheasants restaurant eating a very delicious meal. We booked a king room which was exactly like the photo showed and the bed was very comfortable , bathrobes, tea, coffee etc all very nice and breakfast the next morning lovely. My only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer but we are all ready planning a stay there with other family members in the near future.

This was our second stay at the Pheasant Inn, and we weren't disappointed. We had the first nice weather in months, and the views and sunsets from our room and the pub/restaurant were incredible, we could see all the way to Liverpool! The room was beautiful, we stayed in Eaton which is located above the restaurant, but it was so quiet even in the evening with the pub in full swing and with the window open. We had a really relaxed and enjoyable stay, and the local countryside is excellent for walks with the dog - they even provide a guide of local walks.

loved our little cottage, just for us, this was a real plus. the heating was on, straight into the warm. All of the staff, all of them were fantastic. Really nice thoughtful details like having milk and juice in the fridge on arrival. Nice touch. Breakfast, brilliant. Dinner - brilliant (although perhaps tell us what isn't available on the menu from the off, not as we order the things you don't have)
we have a holiday let, so negative comments always irk us. If we had to level a negative, this sounds tw@tty, but for us, the mattresses were too hard, we didn't get a good night's sleep on either night. But that was the only downer, we had a brilliant stay

We have stayed before in the hotel's rooms but this time we were in the holiday home which worked really well for us. It was very well equipped and very comfortable with a log burner to light when the weather got really damp. The weather stopped us from using the garden chairs but we could see that it would be lovely to sit out on the terrace if the sun shone. The location is lovely, particularly if you have a dog with you as there is a good walk into the woods from the doorstep. Hundreds of pheasants around at this time of year!
It was all great but the beds were a little on the firm side for me - but didn't stop me sleeping soundly.
