Everything was really lovely. Beautiful hotel and rooms which have been so well thought out. Extremely comfortable bed and very quiet room. Staff were some of the friendliest I have ever encountered in a hotel. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was really good at terrace and room service. Breakfast choices excellent too.

No complimentary snacks in the room! I have never stayed in a nice hotel that didn’t offer a nice biscuit to go with tea/coffee. 😉 Wine in restaurant incredibly expensive. Cheapest glass was £16!! Not keen on decor in Moorish restaurant. Would not eat dinner there. Felt like tables are close together with no table cloths at breakfast. To me it felt a little cafeteria like. However food and service was spot on. Spa was beautiful but ruined by children running around. I don’t think children should have access under a certain age. Instead there should be a pool they can use and enjoy. A lap pool with relaxation beds in a spa is not the place for children to run around jumping in the water.

Fabulous hotel, from reception to rooms to the staff and views. Unfortunately we were put in the 1st floor with a function below us, we couldn’t sleep due to the noise, the reception were fantastic and moved us to a suite for the duration of our stay, it was a beautiful room (a small apartment) the best bed I have stayed in a hotel. We went down to the bar for drinks and the service was amazing, with a good selection of drinks and bar food. We didn’t use the spa but had a look around - it looks lovely. The weather wasn’t great (storm) so we couldn’t get to walk the grounds but definitely next time. We will definitely be staying again - thank you team Fairmont!

A couple of things… but just small so hasn’t affected our rating. Beautiful bath but nothing to add - perhaps some bath salts etc? Biscuits with the coffee in the room would be great.

Excellent location and excellent attention to detail. Staff were amazing as everyone from reception to the restaurant remembered we had booked for our wedding anniversary and congratulated us. We also had a complimentary dessert in the hotel room and also after dinner in the restaurant. The hotel was very clean with all the modern conveniences you would expect. Room was large with ensuite large bath tub and separate shower. Also had a dressing area in the bathroom for doing makeup, which my wife loved. Fridge was well stocked. Excellent spa facilities.

Only negative during our stay was that the button to work the electronic curtains didn't work but the staff were responsive and came to help immediately

I can’t explain and it’s hard to express how much I love this place. The environment , employees , facilities , gym, spa, welcoming , the food 😍😍😍 , the atmosphere , how clean the place is🌹, specially the type of employees and how kind and welcoming and helpful they are , I really felt as if I’m between my family and friends and felt as if I’m in my private home. I was supposed to stay for 2 nights however I stayed for a week 😀 as I couldn’t leave this wonderful place. Moreover , I wish I could stay longer but for sure I will visit this place always. I love you all and you really added honey in my HONEY MOON . ♥️

All was perfect . There’s nothing I didn’t like. What I didn’t like is that I wish I was here for the full month of my honey moon.

My wife and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary day just the two of us from the moment we arrived until we left it was impeccable. The service from start to finish a friendly Young reception staff knew what they were doing the concierge throughout even the cleaning staff all happy to be there. That was one guy in particular at a 1215 fine dining. Akshay he was a lovely guy and made my wife and I feel very comfortable at dinner and explaining every part of our meal which was the best I’ve had.

From the moment we arrived we felt looked after, the staff were so attentive and polite, nothing is too much trouble. This attention to detail and service continued throughout our stay, the hotel is spotlessly clean, the beds are super comfortable and rooms well appointed. The grounds are in excellent condition, you really feel relaxed and comfortable. Little details like an exceptional turn down service including water by your bed, slippers laid out, beds turned down, blinds closed and chocolates on your pillows. The spa was lovely and relaxing, We will definitely be back for sure.

Overall we had a very comfortable stay, the rooms were very spacious and comfy beds - we stayed over Christmas, woke up Xmas day to find a small stocking had been left hanging on the door with a few small treats - a lovely touch. Friendly staff who couldn’t do enough and found the setting very relaxing.

All was good, loved the Library and Orchid Tea Room - but found Moreish a let down for a 5* hotel restaurant. Lacks atmosphere - felt more like an all inclusive canteen.

Location was ideal and the hotel was extremely smart

Sadly we had one bad experience with the cleaning of the room. We left the door open not disturb button on and when we got back to the room there was a note from room service saying call the Royal Service to get the room cleaned we spoke to them 3 times and they said they would clean the room while we were out for dinner We arrived back at 11.30pm and the room had not been cleaned .. when we called them they said it was too late to clean the room but came with new towels only Not good enough for a hotel of this standing

We booked this hotel as we were meeting up here with our daughter to explore the local sights and also a family celebration. This hotel is in a beautiful quiet location, hard to believe it's only 14 mins from Heathrow as it felt so removed and so quiet. Driving up to the hotel, it is simply immaculate and the grounds beautiful. Our room a two double bed room was large and quiet, a large bathroom with separate shower and bath. A walk in closet with rails, drawers, iron, ironing board, robes. The beds are sumptuous and pillows provided an immediate sleep. The room was immaculate, absolutely immaculate and spacious. This hotel offers so much. We experienced the spa which is phenomenal, all in with the price to relax in all the different zones, the indoor pool, the outdoor pool. We dined in the restaurant, food superb, the staff in there are just wonderful, friendly, know when to approach, absolute first class service. The young Italian lady was just fantastic and kept us looked after all evening. The breakfast in the hotel is absolutely first class, the abundance of variety and also if you have a personal preference they will conjure this up for you. The hotel grounds hosts wellness walks, there is an outdoor gym, tennis courts. Inside the hotel are many different areas to relax, there's a restaurant, a bar, another bar, another bar and a library and tea room. We have stayed in many many 5 star hotels and for us the people in the Fairmont welcomed us as if it was our home. We felt relaxed and happy and did not want to leave. The staff, every single one make this a very special place and we will definitely return. Thank you, to every single one of you at Fairmont, it was a wonderful wonderful experience.
