My room was OK.

I receive a discount rate from Booking.com and hope that this lower rate does not translate to the cheapest room in the hotel. This seemed to be the case with this stay, a small room, where the heating did not work, and with the constant noise of a diesel generator outside my window.

It was a very nice hotel. We were suprised how big the hotel grounds were and were sad we didnt really get chance to explore everything the hotel grounds had to offer. Food was great and very reasonable price.

The facilities were great, however there was no fridge or mini fridge in the room, which I find handy due to keeping medication in there. Don't get me wrong, this was not advertised as being included. There was however a couple of large, communal fridges along with water and ice dispenser which was very helpful. I did buy a couple of beers to have in the evening, and kept these in the communal fridge and sadly someone decided to help themselves to one of them without asking, which was a shame, but my own fault I guess for keeping them there.

From Check, I was met with what I would call an exceptional concierge named Kingsley. He took the call before I booked the hotel and his mannerism was so impressive I just had to book. I mentioned it was my birthday and was met with chocolates and balloons in my room. My wife and I took a dip in the pool which was lovely and warm and we wanted a relaxing break so opted for dinner in the hotel which was also lovely and all the staff were friendly enough. We had drinks in the bar and took some bubbly to the room, The room was fantastic (2009) and exceeded our expectations the facilities in the room were very good (Iron and board, hair dryer & lovely selection of Tea, coffee and hot chocolate). We do like to book hotels and have surprisingly never tried a De Vere.. If they all have a Kingsley we will be visiting more :)

-no soap/shampoo in the changing rooms on our first day so that was a bit disappointing on arrival, maybe someone could fill up half way through the day, as the next morning we swam there was soap. - also the floor in men’s changing rooms were very very wet, so a little staff check and mop wouldn’t be a bad idea Otherwise we were very happy and would love to come back again!

Great location for Windsor, good value meal options at the hotel, great food, loved the self service breakfast, lovely outdoor space, helpful and friendly staff with prompt service when we had a problem with our window blind, solved efficiently. Ensuite had a good shower and was a good size.

We were disappointed with the size of the room, minimal space around double bed, had to walk side ways to access side of bed near the window, no room for a medium size suitcase in room. A very busy hotel with lots of functions inside and outdoors , noisy at times late at night, plenty of parking but difficult during functions.

A beautiful hotel with swimming pool, 2 restaurants and hotel grounds outdoors has a fountain, gym equipment and an assault course for children at the top. The family room is spacious, has a TV, large double bed and sofa bed; which includes a bathtub. Water dispensers are located around the hotel to top up your water bottle. The hotel is located a short distance from LEGOLAND (11 minutes by car) and local attractions in Windsor. We liked that the hotel buffet restaurant was child friendly and serves up a good selection of food. An adult buffet cost £22 and children under 5 eat for free.

On a hot day, the room gets quite warm no air con due to the separate buildings on the estate. The hotel does provide small desk fans but they are on the smaller side and are not very powerful. There is no mini bar fridge in the room. There are communal fridges but items are left at own risk.

Loved the grounds the hotel is set in and the hotel itself was grand in parts . Buffet meals were reasonably priced , lots of choice and tasty . Breakfast was also good . Located close to Runnymede and only a short drive to many attractions . Plenty of parking . Lovely staff !

Breakfast was very unorganised on one of the mornings due to influx of people the night before , the staff were overrun ! Swimming pool too small for the size of the hotel … could do with 2 pools , one for families and other just for adults . Would have used the pool for the 3 days that I was there but it was always too full to even move/ swim so that put me off using it as much as I would have liked to

The whole site is lovely. Close to the Thames, and just a few miles from Windsor. Free parking on site. Reception staff were extremely helpful and cheerful. Room was perfect - clean, well decorated, spacious, bed was comfy. Tea coffee and biscuits in the room. Room rate was reasonable too. Good buffet breakfast. Dinner in the main restaurant was excellent, albeit just a touch more expensive than I would have expected.

We really enjoyed our short stay and the following are minor points - The "estate" was larger than I expected and the map they provide could have been a little clearer. Service staff (Bar and Housekeeping) seemed a little rushed and not particularly friendly. Waiter in the restaurant was too friendly - his enthusiasm for everything we ordered became irritating after a while. When booking they asked if we wanted to reserve the restaurant for dinner - without telling us that there was a second, less expensive buffet restaurant option.

Space and food really acceptable.

Unfortunately, my experience was significantly impacted by excessive noise from a group of guests, which persisted from around midnight until just before 4:00 AM. The disturbances both outside and in the corridors made it virtually impossible to sleep. I believe it would have been appropriate for security or hotel staff to intervene and ensure a more peaceful environment for all guests. As a result, the purpose of my stay, to avoid an early morning journey to Windsor for an important meeting, was entirely undermined. I would appreciate it if you could look into this matter and advise how you intend to address such incidents going forward. Thank you for your attention. I look forward to your response.

Location, facilities such as the gym & swimming pool, food, breakfast & dinner buffets, gardens & woodlands, proximity to Windsor central & castle, welcoming & helpful staff, interiors, plenty of spaces to dine or just sit, free water & ice cubes in one of the lounges. Special mention to the young chap named Jericho at Beaumont restaurant(he was so polite, friendly & professional).

No airconditioning & fridge in the room. Lacking toiletries(just shampoo & body wash). Housekeeping knocking on our bedroom door at 8am! We needed our sleep as we were tired from exploring the area the day before! Unfortunately, I forgot to put the sign on the door.
