The bedroom was very tired Truly needs refurbishment Fortunately the hotel is lovely but our room truly needs an update, this is now letting the hotel down.

Very well appointed room (though towels only for 1 - though we did find extra ones in the wardrobe) Small bathroom - but adequate, and good showe

The dinner menu was limited and disappointing. I was tempted by the chicken with leek risotto - but put off by the idea of sauce made with chicken wings, and 'crispy chicken skin' garnish, so I opted for battered haddock. (not much choice!) However, the waiter, after all, brought the chicken! (He later apologised fore the mistake, and didn't charge for my main course). The leek risotto was very good, but the chicken was tough and tasteless. So we were not impressed by the restaurant for dinner - but to our surprise, breakfast was excellent - kippers, lightly scrambled eggs, good sausages!

Location excellent..short walk into the town..access to fantastic walks along Richmond park Great service from friendly staff . Easy access into London from train station

didn't sleep very well as personally found room too hot and air con not low enough temperature. As light sleeper had to turn off anyway because of noise. Fire doors banging onfloor at early hours. Having said this I would still stay again because of all the other good points

The restaurant staff and reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Kim, especially the swimming pool and sauna steam, excellent facilities 👌🏽 perfect location ..didnt get the chance to use the spa ....

The hotel was divided into 2 locations, an outside block, not as glamorous as the main hotel. we were a little surprised..however, it was nice .inside .the shower door fell off when using it .. which we reported, and no one came to fixed it , not enough towels or coffee and biscuits..1 cup for a couple in a room .. stains from cups on the top of the unit .. The door to our room, once closed when leaving the room, didn't lock 🙃 it. It would push back open , and we reported it nothing done ..the cleaner helped us lock it with her card ....

As a guest you can use certain spa facilities. I used the swimming pool, sauna and steam room. The room was very big and the main window overlooked a lawn at the front of the hotel. They employ a lot of ground staff who keep the lawns and recreation area in good condition. The lounge and dining areas are very big and there's plenty of room to relax. I paid for a breakfast which was £12.50. Great value for money. It's a buffet breakfast and the choice is immense.

I've stayed here before. The place looks a bit tired and could do with a full upgrade although some areas have been upgraded. In the bedroom and bathroom you could see peeling paint on the sills.

The services available to guests is great. The location next to the river makes for a great walk. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The facilities are showing their age. The layout is a bit challenging to navigate at time. The parking is limited. If not eating in the onsite restaurant, other restaurants are a bit of a walk.

I really enjoyed the pool and health suite and had a treatment in the spa while i was there - which was great. When I first arrived there appeared to be some sort of big corporate event going on and the staff were helpful but very busy...... But once it was quieter they were lovely and really went out of their way to make me feel at ease and looked after.

I supposedly got an 'upgrade' but the room was not as nice as I was expecting - it was drab, small , needing a face lift and also rather an unpleasant smell - a bit like residual vomit smell masked by cleaning products - the room itself was spotless.... but that smell...... I felt like I'd been shoved out of the way in a room they wouldn't otherwise use. This hasn't put me off as other facilities and service were excellent. I do hope to be back - I hope they get the room right next time....

Liked the restaurant & conservatory for breakfast & dinner Reception helpful when a problem was raised . Appeared clean & lovely neighbourhood. Great walk along the Thames into Kingston. Great idea for a free drink voucher instead of room servicing. Breakfast choice was amazing.

Very disappointed there was no jacuzzi in pool area. The Ascot building was dated & no where near as nice as the main building. Towels issued are too big - bath towel would have been better than enormous bath sheet. Did not rate the push button coffee machine. Would of been nice to have teapot & cafeteria brought to table.

Lovely building and gorgeous grounds, comfortable spacious room - my friend and I wanted a weekend away at a spa and booked a twin room - the layout and size of the room with two double beds was so good as we felt like we had our own space and were not on top of each other, which often happens in twin rooms but not at the Lensbury! We had treatments at the spa which were fantastic, so much so my friend decided to go back and book more treatments for the next day. We used the gym, swimming pool and sauna which was so enjoyable and relaxing. After dinner we enjoyed a stroll along the river and through the gardens with a glass of wine - both with stressful jobs this was just the break we needed. If I didn't live quite so far away I would definitely look into membership of the Club there.

Overall nothing to complain about apart from the server at the bar got our evening cocktail order wrong twice and the server at lunch was overly attentive, boarding on intrusive, but neither these things impacted our overall enjoyment of the Lensbury.

The location is wonderful, with lots of sports and activities available. The rooms are basic and functional but are clean and comfortable. The restaurant and bar are great and there are lots of walks and old pubs and restaurants nearby. The grounds are huge and you can rent paddle boards, kayaks and small motorboats. We hired a small motor boat for ninety minutes and had a wonderful cruise along the Thames. Really enjoyed the vibe staying here and would definately come back again.

The rooms were quite basic and a bit dated but we were out most of the time so it wasn't a big issue.
