Very well appointed room (though towels only for 1 - though we did find extra ones in the wardrobe) Small bathroom - but adequate, and good showe

The dinner menu was limited and disappointing. I was tempted by the chicken with leek risotto - but put off by the idea of sauce made with chicken wings, and 'crispy chicken skin' garnish, so I opted for battered haddock. (not much choice!) However, the waiter, after all, brought the chicken! (He later apologised fore the mistake, and didn't charge for my main course). The leek risotto was very good, but the chicken was tough and tasteless. So we were not impressed by the restaurant for dinner - but to our surprise, breakfast was excellent - kippers, lightly scrambled eggs, good sausages!

didn't sleep very well as personally found room too hot and air con not low enough temperature. As light sleeper had to turn off anyway because of noise. Fire doors banging onfloor at early hours. Having said this I would still stay again because of all the other good points

The services available to guests is great. The location next to the river makes for a great walk. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The facilities are showing their age. The layout is a bit challenging to navigate at time. The parking is limited. If not eating in the onsite restaurant, other restaurants are a bit of a walk.

I really enjoyed the pool and health suite and had a treatment in the spa while i was there - which was great. When I first arrived there appeared to be some sort of big corporate event going on and the staff were helpful but very busy...... But once it was quieter they were lovely and really went out of their way to make me feel at ease and looked after.

I supposedly got an 'upgrade' but the room was not as nice as I was expecting - it was drab, small , needing a face lift and also rather an unpleasant smell - a bit like residual vomit smell masked by cleaning products - the room itself was spotless.... but that smell...... I felt like I'd been shoved out of the way in a room they wouldn't otherwise use. This hasn't put me off as other facilities and service were excellent. I do hope to be back - I hope they get the room right next time....

Set in an idyllic location in a lovely area, on the River Thames. Excellent grounds with gym, swim and spa and children's play area. Within a short walk of high street with shops, bars and restaurants and the train station. Good links into central London. Perfect base/location to explore for family stay. Good choice and selection of food / drink at breakfast and in the bar/restaurant. Comfortable, spacious deluxe room.

Both of our children sustained minor cuts and grazes to their feet from the pool floor in the children's swimming pool area. The surface was rough and had tiles missing. We were informed this had been reported by other families in recent days / weeks. The staff were v attentive when we came to report this and took our concerns seriously.

I stayed at The Lensbury for a self-care getaway and left feeling completely recharged. The riverside setting was peaceful, the staff were warm, and the vibe was calm from start to finish. The highlight for me was the spa — my 60-minute massage turned into a beautiful aromatherapy session thanks to a caring, intuitive therapist. I followed it with a steam, sauna, and swim. Dinner in the lounge was relaxed and cosy, and my room was clean, comfortable, and just right for retreating into rest. Even without a riverside view, the energy of the space carried me. I’d absolutely recommend it for anyone needing time to reset, reconnect, and feel held.

This is more of a personal preference, but I would’ve loved for the spa treatment rooms to be in the same building as the pool, steam, and sauna. Although it was only about a minute’s walk, having everything connected would’ve made the experience feel even more seamless. That said, the short stroll did give me a chance to take in more of the beautiful grounds.

It’s so child friendly which I love about it been to lots of 5 star hotels and they don’t come close.. with this being a 4 star resort it’s up there with the 5.. Absolutely love all the football goals outside and fresh cut lawn acres of space beautiful scenery.. a football cage bonus big park bonus.. the swimming pool and gym was fantastic my teenager loved that.. I believe there is an indoor child area too but we have as so busy with the other facilities we didn’t see that.. Staff willl go above and beyond to make sure you have a prefect stay the only bad thing for us was we didn’t stay longer..

Great choice of options for breakfastand lovely setting. We sat in the conservatory overlooking the grounds. Attended for an event. Marius, staff, chef great and service excellent with great attention to detail.I Swimming pool lovely and grounds gorgeous.

At the event, one of the managers was unprofessional and rude. There was a well known DJ from radio station playing and at 1120 was told to stop the music despite the event having booked until midnight. There was also a live band which was not allowed to finish their set despite being paid for by the charity hosting the event.

The staff were generally very helpful and friendly - particularly the housekeeping staff. My room had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The grounds are lovely and the location on the river is pretty. Also easy access to the Teddington high street shops and restaurants; and easy walking distance to a couple of great pubs. Interesting historical sports stuff everywhere!

Each time I wanted to use the (excellent) fitness facilities and pool, they were rather crowded. Not the property's fault, but other guests were very inconsiderate and noisy returning to their rooms late at night; and during the day they seemed to let their children run amok! Cooked food at the breakfast buffet tended to be cold.

The staff were really professional with just the right balance of friendly. A particular 'thank you to' Adeola who looked after us so well at supper. The pool and facilities were fabulous. The 'cafe' inside the hotel was beautiful with the perfect combination of food and drink on offer together with comfy sofas. Supper was delicious - thank you chefs - with a great selection on offer. The location of the river - backing onto the Thames with spacious green space was lovely. Perfect for 2 friends on the Thames Path walk. Can highly recommend.

Whilst our room was really comfy and clean, I would have loved a view other than that of the laundry and bins at the back. Well aware that SOMEONE has to have that view and, to be honest, having spent the day walking the Thames, I didn't feel too bothered. Just saying!
