Everything about the White House hotel was excellent. Except for the shower in our room. We use the shower twice at both times the bathroom was flooded your water coming into the bedroom. After two lengthy sessions of cleaning up, it was clear to me that it was already an existing problem. And I examined the states of the floor it was already suffering from the long term water damage. This is clearly an ongoing problem. And I'm sure it will be passed as a one-off which is clearly not true. At first glance, I would have definitely said. I would use this hotel more often as I need somewhere to stay throughout the summer of the north. I may have to reconsider. I would just like to say other than the problem with a shower, we did have a lovely stay. Staff were really Curtis. I'm helpful big thumbs up. I would like advise anyone that was visited in the local area to stay at this hotel. Just hope they don't get the room with a problem shower. Kind disregards Carl Timothy

Room was really all that we needed, breakfast was great every day, and the location of the premises was good as it was central and we could go out walking and also take the buses or trains nearby if necessary, and the shopping centre was also in close proximity. We could not have asked for anything better, and the staff were very good with our enquiries, and very helpful.

Maybe they could have supplied some local newspapers or even some daily newspapers complimentary to the rooms, especially for the foreigners to keep in touch with the news, as sometimes our phones were not connected properly to the wifi and we missed out on the news, otherwise, all was good.

The hotel was warm and inviting, especially on a winter’s day, with a stag’s head and roaring log fire the first thing you see on arrival. The twin room (301) was nicely decorated with quality materials and furniture, rich tones, old telephone, coffee machine, safe, fridge and luxury bed throws. The shower had a choice of shower-heads at the touch of a button and the beds were comfortable. All very clean. Breakfast included. Delicious coffee. Arrived too late for dinner but 3 takeaway places within a few minutes’ walk. Excellent Malbec served in the bar!

Just being a bit picky, as everything else was so good, the scrambled eggs on toast for breakfast could have had a sprig of parsley added or the toast cut in half to make it look less basic. Tasted nice though.

Room was comfortable. well furnished and clean. Good coffee pods and bags - very good selection of high quality complimentary products. Nice to have a stocked fridge as well. Staff were very good. Breakfast excellent. Secure free parking. Great location to walk over the bridge to Kingston where there are plenty of restaurants. Otherwise definitely a great find and I shall return without hesitation.

Unplanned closure of restaurant - I understand why, but its not good policy to be told its open one moment and closed the next. Better customer management would have assisted.

The staff were super helpful and the rooms were very comfortable. Arriving early on a flight from Australia was no problem to the wonderful staff who ensured I could get into the room early and have a well needed shower and rest. The breakfasts are good value for money and they do great coffee. I had a room on the ground floor looking out on the carpark - there was no noise or people walking past the window - this did limit my opening the window but did not distract from the comfort and experience of staying in this hotel.

The bed was really comfortable, one of the best I have experienced. The shower was great but did notice the water did not run away quick enough. I arrived mid-evening and because it was quiet in the restaurant it was closed early so had to go out for pizza. The Manager though was very kind and let me eat the pizza in the restaurant and even provided a free pint glass of orange and lemonade - thank you very much, it was appreciated after a long day at work with a Client.

The entry exit is a bit tight and difficult to get out on to the road as it is so close to a busy roundabout and zebra crossing.

The room was comfortable and tea and coffee making facilities are provided. There was a good selection of breakfast choices . Buffet bar with good selection cereals fruit nuts and pastries Followed by choice of porridge or cooked breakfasts. We stayed for 2 nights and had porridge once and cooked breakfast once. Dinner in restaurant was good on both evenings . Guests can ask for discount voucher for Sunday-Thursday evenings. Five minute walk over the river and you are into Kingston upon Thames town centre which has a good selection of department stores and shops

Great parking, excellent location, great selection of tea and coffee in the room, reasonable bathroom with excellent toilet paper and a strong shower, decent cooling in the room though we had to have it on all the time (ground floor, didn't feel safe leaving window open for ventilation), nice friendly staff and an adequate breakfast which just lacked fresh fruit.

Poor lighting in the room especially for reading instructions and really bad for those with impaired sight. Don't like shower-over-bath, can be quite dangerous for older or less agile people, and this one had leaky screens.

The White Hart Hotel is a great place, we were pleased with everything! The free parking was excellent for us and the location next to the river perfect. The accommodation was clean and well appointed and we had everything we needed for our stay. The shower was hot and powerful, the complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits were great quality, the robes were a good addition. The bed was large and the linen clean, however the mattress was a little hard. Breakfast was tasty and well prepared with a good choice of quality produce.

Staff were super helpful and friendly. Food in restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner was fabulous. Carpark was helpful as we had a hire car. History of property was interesting. Room was comfortable, spacious and clean. We had Anne Boleyn suite. Bathroom was large with a bath as well as spacious shower. Bathroom amenities ie shampoo, bodywash plus usual amenities of coffee, tea, etc. Bed was very comfortable. Walking distance to Bushy Park, which was our destination sentimentally. Looked like various restaurants etc were also close but we didn't use any. I'd definitely stay here again when next in London.
