No opening windows, only AC, everybody could see you in bed if you didn’t use sheelds.

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, and the new facilities and furniture provided a comfortable and modern stay. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and I appreciated the convenience of your 24-hour reception and the service to keep luggage secure before check-in and after check-out.

I must mention that despite paying for an upgrade, I was initially allocated a room in the basement without a window. This was disappointing given my expectation for an upgraded experience

Amazing location walking distance to everything! Small compact facilities that didn’t lack in anything except space to get out of the opposite side of bed. Not paying for luxurious reception area or large rooms so cost effective. The staff were friendly, helpful & prompt to provide services. Supply of toiletries, coffee-tea-bottled water included. We will stay again the next time we find ourselves in London!

The opposite side of bed is difficult to get out of without waking person on side closer to main part of room. A person with limited mobility will not be able to get into & out of the bed. There is no night table OR outlet / USB-USB-C on opposite side of bed.

The room was small but was perfectly equipped with all thing, that is necessary for even a longer stay. The location of the Hotel is excellent, metro lines (all important ones) only a five minutes walk. Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square, Picadilly is very close, just like resturants, theathres and other things. Small restaurants to have a breakfast or a quick coffee in the morning is just a step away. The Hotel staff was kind and very helpful. Last but not least, they offered refreshing drinks on the reception in the afternoon, like some kind of a strawberry/vodka coctail. That was just amazing...

Just a few more space to pack the clothes would have been better, but it's not that big thing.

We liked the hotel's prime location along Strand which is in close walking proximity to Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square, Chinatown and SOHO. Attractions further away are easily accessible by public buses and the tube. This is very convenient in terms of leaving shopping items at the hotel and going out again for more activities. Our Wilde Studio 18sm room is tight for 2 touring adults with 2 large suitcases. For those with carry-ons, the circulation space should be ok. Our room looks out to the busy Strand. The room is provided with a good range of cooking utensils and amenities, eg. hob, microwave machine, fridge, pots, pans, etc. We did not use them as we dined out. The Nespresso and bottled drinking water were nice in-room amenities. The room is designed with automated light switches and controls. Even the shower has automated switches to turn on the water and adjust temperature setting. The lobby is provided with beverage refreshment and we enjoyed them each time we returned to the hotel. The hotel lobby staff are pleasant and friendly. They never fail to greet customers as they move through the lobby.

As we are in our 60s, climbing up and down the bed from the bed-end were not convenient, as the other 3 side are locked in. Although the shower cubicle has folding glass doors, it leaked badly. On our first night, we had to use a towel to supplement the bath mat to soak up the water on the floor. For subsequent day's stay, we requested for additional bath mats using the hotel's app and these were provided promptly.

Location is great and right in the heart of the city. The bed and kitchenette were good.

The shower is tiny and we had to shuffle around to get in and out of the bathroom/shower. The location of the bed in the corner of the room with a fishbowl window on the 1st floor to the main street made it impossible to have the windows open while we were there. If we did leave them open the entire street could look into our room and see us sleeping or worse. Room 105 sucked. A lot. We were permanently in the shade to keep some modicum of privacy and therefore could not enjoy our view of anything.

Our Wilde studio was small but was well designed with every bit of space utilized. All the staff were lovely. The location was extremely good - so much was within easy walking distance for us. The room was clean and the kitchen supplies were well thought out. It is certainly possible to prepare simple things in order to save on restaurants. Toiletries were very nice. The hotel was quiet and secure.

This is something that affected us as seniors …. everything is very modern - the switches and controls, etc. We did figure them all out, but found that the location of the safe at floor level under the bed made it impossible for us to use. The bed was very comfortable, but high. Its location, almost against the window, meant that one of us had to climb over the other to get out of bed to go to the WC during the night. Upon checkout, we mentioned that we were very happy with our stay overall, but that it was a hotel geared to younger people. The lovely young woman at reception suggested that the larger or the adaptable suites would have suited us better. Overall we did like the Wilde and would return.

Loved the location, our room was modern how it was laid out. Clean. Shampoo/conditioner/wash in shower. Automated/one-touch switches, blinds and lights. Very fast walk to two Tube stations. Walkable to Covent Garden, Trafalgar, Piccadilly. Coffee shops nearby.

We had 613. Would have preferred much more privacy with a window right into the shower but we blocked the view with throw pillows and our coats. We needed more privacy (suggest frosted glass or translucent cling to obscure view?). There’s also no lock from inside for safety the guest can “bolt” unless I didn’t see it. Also, very glad we didn’t leave our bags (our room was ready), as we saw some guests bags were stored right in the open by the elevators. Seems risky if the staff needed to walk away.
