The location was ideal for theatre and restaurants. The accommodation was small but clean and comfortable.

It was difficult to regulate the air conditioning with no instructions and the seating area was not sufficient for three people even though it could have slept 6. There was a tight spiral staircase up to the bedrooms which was difficult for someone with mobility issues.

Overall, the apartment was very nice and clean. Bedrooms were a decent size considering the central location of the property.

it was duplex apartment so WC was on same floor as lounge/kitchen and shower room was on floor above (same floor as bedrooms) - not ideal if you need to walk down the stairs (spiral/narrow) in the night to use WC.

This property is in a great location near to the Thames and only a short walk to Westminster or Covent garden and multiple tube or metro options. We pretty much walked everywhere. The apartment suited our family of 4 with a separate room with a king bed and then a lounge with a convertible sofa bed that split into two separate beds. It was a little squeezy but ok as we were out all day. We had a small well appointed kitchenette which was good as we like to make our own breakfast. There were loads of great pubs and restaurants nearby. It was well sound proofed and light block curtains worked well. The tv set up is quite good as lots of shelving around it and good sockets next to the main bed. The air conditioning worked well. I was pleased to find the toilet was in a separate room to the bathroom, which is handy for families. There is a laundry room downstairs for which you have to download and set up an app. It worked well once you figured out you have to have location services turned on your phone! You could get drinks from a fridge downstairs, and there was a coffee machine also downstairs, which was handy.

It was a bit expensive.

Great apart-hotel in a great location in the heart of London. The famous Trafalgar Square and the National Gallery are only in 2 minutes walk. The Big Ben, the Parliament’s building, the Westminster Abbey, the Covent Garden’s theaters, the Chinatown, the Piccadilly Circus and Oxford Street are in 10-15 minutes walk. The Charing Cross Rail Station, Charing Cross and Embankment underground stations are in 2 minutes walk. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. The kitchenette was really good: hob, microwave, pots, plates, bowls, cutlery, freezer, dishwasher. The staff was very polite and friendly.

It was quite noisy outside if you open a window (even at the 8th flood) but it is Central London. It would be nice if the bathtub was bigger: I'm not very tall, but even for me it was difficult to take a bath((

The room provides a studio with more amenities than a regular hotel room. It is just a short walk to the underground; bus stops are very close. There are restaurants, museums and other sights in easy walking distance. The breakfast is a buffet, but it includes hot items and other fresh choices. The staff were always helpful.

Our room was smaller than our first stay, although both were booked as a ‘studio’. A bit cramped, but still much better than a regular hotel room.

Our fourth stay at Citadines Trafalgar Square and we will continue to stay here. The rooms appeared to have been redecorated since our last stay too. The hotel is the perfect location for sightseeing with the main attractions within walking distance and there are two tube stations and an Uber boat pier within a few minutes walk. The studio apartments have a useful kitchen area which we find useful for breakfast. We always ask for rooms facing out to Northumberland Avenue due to great views of the beautiful surrounding buildings which the staff always do their best to accommodate.

Nothing.

The hotel’s biggest selling point is its location: almost every major London landmark is within an easy walk, and there are plenty of cafés and transport links just around the corner. Staff were consistently friendly and helpful, and, by London standards, the studio was a comfortable size and came with a handy kitchenette.

However, housekeeping was disappointing. During the entire stay no one came to refresh the room or replace the towels, so we ended up re‑using them. The single window is set unusually high—about 1.6 m off the floor—so my wife literally had to hop to catch a glimpse of the street, and the room felt darker than expected. Basic amenities such as slippers (and extra towels or bathrobes) were also missing. Overall, a great base for sightseeing if location is your priority, but be prepared for minimal in‑stay service

The location was fabulous for a first time traveller to London. Most attractions and sites were within walking distance . Local Bus stops and Big Bus tour stops very close . Many cafes and restaurants were in the same street or very nearby. Apartment style rooms were great and serviced every couple of days. Bed very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good value.

The location could not be bettered for a tourist visiting London. Quick walk to Charing Cross Station and Embankment tube. Trafalgar Square is a hop, skip and a jump away, too easy! Quick walk to get to on off tour buses, two small supermarkets nearby for all your cooking needs (Coop and Tesco Express). Directly opposite a very well known restaurant for British food, Kerridges. Cafes on street plus Waterstones book store. Three or even more good English pubs in area, Sherlock Holmes, The Chandos and The Admiralty. Check out newly reopened The Portrait Gallery nearby. Easy access by bus from TS to Oxford Street and many other areas. Loved the laundry facility run by Wewash (get app). Room size was good for a studio for twin room. Nothing missing in room, even has a retractable washing line. Free coffee in lobby. Studio has a bathtub with shower above. Nice for soaking aching bones after lots of pavement pounding around London. Comfy beds and rooms are delightfully air conditioned. Medium sized fridge (no icebox), microwave, cooktop and small dishwasher. Table set for meals.

There are a few steps up to the lobby without a handrail. Have to carry up your suitcase. You can access from the the back of the property if you arrange it.

We liked that there was a little kitchenette so you could cook a basic meal if not going out and make lunch. We thought the complimentary tea/coffee was a nice touch while you was staying. Was also handy that i could get documents printed for free. Room was clean and good space, little sofa and a table and chairs to eat/work at. Lots of power sockets. Close to The Mall, Leicester square and covent garden. Great location for sightseeing.

There was only 1 male and female toilet in reception. We didnt like the fact that the outer door could be locked from the inside meaning that as you go into the toilets someone could lock you and them in the toilet together.
