The hotel is sparkling clean and it’s in the heart of london. Walking distance from Big Ben, Piccadilly, Oxford st., Regent st….etc. All the staff were extremely friendly, supportive and professional. Most importantly for us, they have electronic bidet seat with remote control installed.

Checkin took some time coz they only have 2 checkin counters so I think this could be an area of improvement.

I was charged additional cost without my permission which the hotel call as discretionary charges. Managed to asked for refund, after seeing the high charges on my card aa compared to my booking. Was even asked to pay for my Bfast when my booking have clearly indicated it is inclusive of Bfast. Managed to avoid from paying after a few clarification and provide my booking doc. I still felt unnecessary charges charged to me is non ethical and should not happened.

Fascinating property in unbeatable location. From here it’s a short walk up to Trafalgar Square or down to the Royal Horseguards and a stretch of the leg to Westminster Abbey or Buckingham Palace. And if you’re planning to take in the theatre, The Duchess of Malfi is right around the corner. This hotel is meticulously crafted in all respects to offer a unique, unforgettable experience. Staff were helpful and charming. Rooms were well designed and extremely comfortable. And since I love a theme as well as British crime and detective stories, I was in my element.

I stay regularly at The Great Scotland Yard first of all because it is a relatively small hotel with super nice staff especially in the restaurant and the bar. (The other staff embers are also nice, but one has less contact with those). The hotel is in the old Scotland yard station in Westminster and one must compliment the architect and the interior decorators on a top job. You have to see it for yourself, but it makes it a to go to place even if the rates are high (but that is London for you)

I wish the room rates were more "friendly

Ideal location for Soho and theatre district. Close to Trafalgar Square and the tube station. Easy to access other parts of central London from. Room was clean and cosy, shower was exceptional. It was a quiet room as the hotel is slightly set back off the main road. Staff were friendly and helpful once we had arrived.

Communication with the hotel before our stay was not ideal. I was attempting to arrange a surprise in our room for my husbands 30th birthday (fully paid for, not asking for freebies). The hotel were not responsive to emails, despite multiple phone call requests for them to reply and send me a menu of what was available to purchase for our room. This resulted in nothing being provided in the room. The hotel concierge then emailed me after our stay with options, to ask what I would like in the room. Not ideal when we had already checked out and the birthday had happened. It was a lovely stay nonetheless, but concierge could aim to be more responsive and attentive of their guests.

Amazing stay in a building full of history! Loved the decor, great style and really enjoyed the historic bits sprinkled around the hotel. The bed was amazing, probably the most comfortable sleep I've ever had. Really enjoyed drinks at the 40 Elephants Bar (although beware, nothing on tap in terms of beer and not much choice of bottled beer) but my Passionfruit martini was amazing. The breakfast was also delicious and I would definitely recommending trying it if you're staying. The bathroom has a very modern funky toilet, a shower AND a bath, which was definitely worth it. Really enjoyed the vibe of the room and would love to stay in it again. Loved our Deluxe King room and the late checkout was most enjoyable!

It was a shame about restaurant not being open on monday and even then, it's quite specific in its dishes so not much choice. But plenty of places nearby. Prices are also quite steep, but I expected it of a hotel of this calibre and location.

Location is perfect. Friendly staff, comfortable room, good breakfast. Lift came quickly. Staff at the door very helpful with luggage. Nice and quiet. Nice decor with interesting features about the history of the building.

The bathroom in our room was tiny. Only one person really could get into it at a time. The toilet was very odd and it was difficult to turn off the unwanted bidet features. We had breakfast included but the check in staff tried to charge us again. The bills get a bit mixed up. We were given one for someone else with their details on when we arrived, but when we left we were not shown our final bill. It was supposed to be emailed to us but never arrived. When we queried the amount later we were told that the extra was a service charge that we didn’t know about before.

Historic building of importance - Scotland Yard Police Station like a museum - newly renovated to a very high standard. Not too huge and very cosy. The reception staff were amazing

The location, comfort of beds and staff so nice and friendly.

Thought I was going to get a nice view, they did move us, but view not really a proper Courtyard, just a whole in the middle of buildings and windows. Should not be on your website worded like that as it raises hopes.

Great location, very contemporary design, clean, and fantastic breakfast. Staff really friendly.

Unfortunately on the first night we could not turn off a light bulb on the open fixed hanger. We inform the reception desk and they sent somebody with towels to dim it, but still we could not really sleep. Second night the problem got fixed, but our bathroom started to smell as sewage - really bad. That has ruined otherwise great experience. Please check your rooms upfront and change them if not suitable.
