The location; the hotel room was great; the hotel bars are excellent and overall we really enjoyed our stay at the Corinthia

The breakfast was overpriced and the cooked breakfast was not actually that great as three of the ingredients were cold so not the standard we would expect in a hotel such as the Corinthia

I had the pleasure of staying at the Corinthia Hotel in London from Friday, June 20, to Monday, June 23, in room 601. I first encountered this hotel shortly after its opening around 2012, likely timed with the London Olympics. Since then, Corinthia London has set my benchmark for hotel excellence. Although I have visited other Corinthia hotels, such as those in Lisbon and recently in New York, none have matched the standard maintained by the London property, particularly in terms of facilities, comfort, and quality of service. Among the positive points, I particularly highlight the extraordinary quality of rest, thanks to exceptional beds, top-quality sheets, and mattresses ensuring a superb sleeping experience. Another strong point is the bathroom, especially the shower, which has great water pressure and immediate hot water availability. Additionally, I want to underscore the remarkable kindness and attentiveness of the staff, always eager to resolve any issues promptly and making guests feel at home. However, I noticed some details that, although easily solvable through maintenance and attention, require immediate intervention to maintain the high standard that has historically distinguished this hotel: Firstly, I was surprised that despite being subscribed to the Corinthia newsletter and being a recurring guest for over a decade, there was no special recognition or acknowledgment during check-in. It would be advisable to implement a system recognizing and valuing loyal customers. Regarding restaurant staff, particularly during breakfast, I noticed visibly worn or poorly ironed uniforms, as well as dirty or inconsistent footwear, details negatively impacting the overall perception of the hotel. Additionally, the lobby restrooms require more attention regarding cleanliness and maintenance, occasionally having unpleasant odors.

Quality and service exude in every area of this superb hotel. Excellent amenities in room and outstanding spa facilities which I greatly enjoyed. Amazing ensuite bathroom with tv and best (and highest) deluge shower ever (in London??) also with hand-held attachment! Velvet bar was lovely with great cocktails, service and super friendly welcome. Kerridge’s Bar and Grill was busy and noisy. Delicious food however and vibrant service. Superb but costly room service breakfast. Pianist in the foyer area was fantastic and I stayed for an extra hour just to relax and listen to him. He was also super friendly.

Down point was that the sliding bathroom doors wouldn’t stay open or shut unless a shoe was wedged against them! On check out, lobby was extremely busy. Seemingly with early arrivals at 12:15?!

Everything - I love The Corinthia, the thing that stands out the most is the staff - they are so fabulous, professional and personal, warm welcoming & attentive.

The hotel is beautiful, located on the embankment, a central location to all London sites. We stayed for New Year’s Eve and had a great view of the fireworks. Hotel staff are all very polite and welcoming, particularly agineszga Joska. Lovley person and very helpfully in accommodating us , also like to thank waiter Rosa a chinice girl that was particularly kind and helpful, these kind people share are memory’s the food the rooms the service is outstanding, and we would like to thank you all for our stay at this iconic hotel , happy new year Corinthia see you soon Lee Julie.

Lovely hotel with great facilities and (with just one or two slight exceptions) very friendly staff.

1. The arrangements for breakfast were awful. No clear place to queue for a table, and when at the front the poor chap in charge seemed to have to negotiate a dreadful process, involving both screens and paper. This took far longer than seemed necessary. 2. With dinner we had a bottle of Valpolicella Ripasso that cost £89 and was very poor. Our usual £15 bottle was far nicer, suggesting this was a sub-£10 bottle. I expect a significant mark-up in a 5* hotel but this was insulting.

We did not have breakfast as we had to travel. Loved the location of the hotel. Amazing staff and I cannot thank them enough for looking after us. The spa facilities were exceptional. My sister was blown away by the champagne, cake and nibbles she received as she was celebrating a birthday and the New Year's eve stay at the hotel was a pre-birthday treat for her. Loved the fireworks display on New Year's eve. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to family and friends if they are looking for a hotel that is central to all the London attractions or celebrating a special event.

We loved the space and peace to enjoy the facilities, food and ambience of the whole hotel. The staff and customer service was impeccable.

The thermal area was disappointing as we specifically booked as we wanted to spend time relaxing. The jacuzzi style pool was low heat, the steam room smelt funny and it seemed the art of peace and relaxation is lost on young couples who talked and laughed loudly in the jacuzzi area without turning the pool jets on so nobody could use it. It was a great space but poorly managed. This is a spa issue. You have the amazing facility but it’s not being watched carefully enough
