Location was excellent. A taxi service was provided on call - 90 pounds to Heathrow. Water was available for free from dispensing machine. Staff very cordial. A members lounge was a great asset to sit and relax in peace - though no immediate access to nearby toilet.

Could do with some vending machines.. Breakfast too expensive - besides there are no options available if you do not need a buffet breakfast. Restaurant experience not too pleasant - seating with no back, and noice level too high. On a chilly night seating by the open door was another discomfort that could have been avoided.

The location is fantastic, the building / lobby is impressive, the hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are lovely. We particularly loved the availability of complementary water, tea and coffee, 24 hours per day.

The bathroom was small and decor a bit dated, in need of modernisation. Would have preferred a shower screen / cubicle instead of just a curtain. Also, we had a superior room for 3 adults sharing. The third adult was on a large sofa bed but the position of this meant they could not see the television- the layout of the room could maybe be changed, to accommodate a third person better.

Staff is helpful, kind and Professional. I gave this hotel a higher rating because of the staff at the front desk, the restaurant/bar and housekeeping.

The property itself is lovely but the rooms are in serious need of an update. Very 80s and extremely small. Need some fresh air or windows that you can open.

Room was very spacious and quiet (which was surprising given the busy area). There was a washing machine and dryer that we were able to use which was very handy! It was also very handy having little touches like the filtered water and reusable bottles in the hallway. Was also really nice being able to go and get a tea or coffee from the lounge at any time.

Room only cleaned every 3 days unless you requested it. This meant that we ran out of some of the supplies like shower gel but the front counter was helpful when we did. Would be good to have fresh towels and toiletries each day even if the sheets aren't changed.

The facilities, coffee and hot chocolate in the downstairs lounge was comfortable and tasty. The staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive. The location was great making it easy to access places of interest.

The bathroom basin had a thick glass shelf and bracket directly above the tap that made it impossible to wash your face or brush teeth without bumping ones head on the shelf. Only one chair in the room to sit on so the other guest had to use the bed as a chair. The cupboard hanging space was as awkward to access as the bathroom basin, and then lift to the rooms is a tight squeeze especially with baggage. Evenso we still enjoyed our stay.

Our stay in London was truly delightful, and we are grateful to the team at The Grand for making it even more memorable. The room, while compact, was impeccably clean and perfectly suited to our needs. We especially appreciated the Club Living Room, which offered a pleasant environment for meetings or remote work, along with complimentary tea and coffee. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Special thanks to Cameron, who assisted us during check-in and provided helpful information about the hotel and nearby attractions. Her warm welcome was especially appreciated after our long train journey from Edinburgh. We experienced a minor issue in our room due to an accident on our part. Nalin and the team were incredibly understanding and resolved the situation promptly and professionally, ensuring that our holiday was not affected in any way. Their support and reassurance meant a great deal to us. Additionally, Salman was very helpful during check-out and ensured our transportation to the airport went smoothly. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to others and would certainly choose to stay at The Grand again on a future visit to London.

The location is great. Walking distance to all major attractions. There are two tube stations nearby as well. There is a water station on each floor and refillable bottles for everyone to use. The living room for the hotel guests is a great addition with free coffee&tea 24/7. The rooms were equipped with ironing equipment, coffee/tea maker, hairdryer and even fitness mat.

The breakfast isn’t worth its price. No diversity. A fridge in the rooms would be a nice addition. In general the hotel rooms are old and could use some renovation.

If you’re looking for a well-located London hotel that retains a “grandness” from another era, you’ll enjoy The Grand Hotel at Trafalgar Square. On historic Northumberland Avenue just blocks from the Thames Rmbankment and close to numerous museums, attractions, government buildings and theaters. Easy walking to so many sites and Underground stations. Comfortably updated rooms, excellent staff and handy amenities like a water station on each floor for filling bottles make it traveler friendly. Ample breakfasts, but could use a better pastry provider. You won’t be disappointed staying at The Grand when London calls.

Location, Location, Location. I have been to London several times but never stayed near Trafalgar Square. If I should have the chance to return, I will book a room at the Grand. There are pubs, theaters, restaurants, bookstores, and lots of shopping opportunities. In addition, it is within walking distance of the British Museum, the Thames, Parliament, St. James' Park, and Westminster Abby. The Churchill War Rooms were just a short walk away. The facilities are good and exceeded my expectations.

The air conditioning filter was dirty, but when we noticed that and informed housekeeping, they rectified the situation immediately.

Location is excellent, quiet and comfortable yet in the heart of all the action nestle between two major metros made around really easy plus, you could also walk everywhere. It was very safe. I loved the club room with free, hot chocolate and free water and water bottles throughout the hotel.

there wasn’t free breakfast. The breakfast was very expensive and in my opinion, not good value plus the restaurants around the hotel pretty expensive, but there were a lot of options and there was a lot of food available..
