Location and it’s proximity to Leicester Square, Piccadilly. Close to underground stations and plenty of restaurants. It’s also nice and quiet even though you are close to lively Leicester Square it is located in a good position to avoid noise.

Pillows were uncomfortable and hard to sleep on, didn’t feel of good quality. Temps in the room fluctuated quite a good even though AC was switched on, first night was very warm and second night very cold, even though we didn’t touch the thermostat.

It's the 4th time I stayed in this hotel. The location is perfect as it is exactly in Central London and all interesting venues are just a few meters away. The room was large (by London's standards) and the double bed was enormous and comfortable. Breakfast is good and staff is very welcoming as well. Highly recommended

I always say this when I stay here. I cannot have a cappuccino with other than normal full milk. I am allergic to it but the hotel does not offer alternatives with different milks. Also, lifts are a bit slow, so on busy afternoons you have to wait a bit to go up to your room.

The room was spacious, comfortable and well equipped with tea, coffee, and biscuits, as well as a Nespresso machine, mini fridge, hairdryer, TV, and plenty of plug/USB sockets. The bathroom was spacious too, with a walk in shower and hair/shower gel products. Both the room and bathroom were very clean. We asked for a late check out and the gentleman on reception was very accommodating and made no additional charge for a couple of extra hours. Superb location, right on the edge of Trafalgar Square. Would definitely stay again.

The room was very warm and although we put the air con on, it didn't seem to cool down very much. We couldn't leave the window open as although the location is excellent for central London and sightseeing, it's very noisy with people passing by late at night, so would have been too difficult to sleep.

My best friend and I stayed the night as a special 60th birthday treat for her. I had notified them of the celebration and the manager was fabulous. We were upgraded to a superior room, there was Prosecco on ice and balloons in the room. We were also given a late checkout and free breakfast as well. It made our stay extra special and my friend felt really special. The room was big and the beds were so comfy. It was a real treat staying here.

The only thing I can say is that it could do with better lighting in the bathroom for putting on make-up.

Spacious comfortable room. We have stayed at 3 Thistle properties in London. They have all been excellent. The Trafalgar Thistle was in a great location and felt safe and clean. Property is convenient to Trafalgar Square, Picadilly Circus and Leicester Square. A 10 minute walk to Covent Garden.

Had some difficulty with green policies. We support green efforts and usually use our towels 2 to 3 days before requesting new ones. This particular room did not have a heating rack in the bath which made getting the towels dry impossible Additionally, when we requested more bottles of drinking water we were told that because we put the green tag on our outside door, we could not request more water. Having drinkable water is not an option. So off came the green tag. Clearer notes would be helpful on the green initiatives at this hotel. Would still recommend this hotel and we would stay here again!

The staff on arrival were polite and helpful. Our room was very clean, had all the basics. The breakfast was wonderful and fresh. On the second day I came back to our room to find a complimentary birthday cake left for me. I've never experienced that before so was very happy with my surprise. The restaurant was clean and the staff in the morning and evening were friendly and polite. Even checking out the staff were accommodating when we wanted to leave our bags in storage for the day. Also the location is literally next door to trafalgar square! Over all its one of the best hotel experiences I've had.

Over ll I enjoyed the full experience. The only thing I did find a little disappointing was the price. Well over 400£ for two nights was a lot. But for the location I guess this is good. And the breakfast was included.

Central location between Trafalgar and Leicester Squares, yet on a small, quiet street. Comfortable bed, and power outlet next to it. Good water pressure in the shower.

There was a problem when we arrived: weirdly, the bathroom had not been cleaned. I had to call the reception twice because despite their promises no one from housekeeping arrived to clean it. Finally I had to go down to the reception to talk about the issue and could not get an answer as to when the bathroom would be cleaned. Also, 2 other guests said they had a problem with their bathroom. However, when we returned from dinner we were immediately offered complimentary drinks in the hotel bar and the bathroom had finally been cleaned.

The check in team were fantastic and allowed us to store our luggage before we could check in so we could go and explore the city. When we did check in the team were very helpful. Check out was equally as fantastic and smooth and the team were very welcoming and fast. The room was the perfect size for myself and my two friends who were staying overnight. The sheets were crisp and the room was very clean, with a lovely little area for tea and coffee making. The bathroom was small but very nice, and the shower was really good. Even the free toiletries smelled good - in other places I have stayed I felt they smelled like washing up soap! Despite being so close to Trafalgar Square, it was relatively quiet and we all had a great nights sleep after exploring the city. Thanks for a great stay.

Would have liked a TV in the Lounge I think there should be ice machines on all floors. Refrigerators in rooms are needed

room was ok for what we chose, price was high due to the marathon being on. reception had to juggle with reception & covering the bar which was done very well. staff was very helpful nothing was to much trouble.

bath & sink look well used possible change needed due to being 4 star hotel, location was what we wanted as we went to a show at his majesty's theatre. breakfast was fine, the evening menu did not have a much to offer, fish & chips, burgers, or curry, would like to see more on a 4 star hotel.
