We had to ask for enough towels for three people and the shower was out of shower gel (discovered while in the shower). We also had to ask for nose tissues. These requests were handled quickly upon calling the front desk. Other than that, our stay at Thistle was great. Very nice staff!

It was our first long visit in London, so we found the location perfect for exploring the main tourist sites. It was clean, gave us the option for fewer days for maid service, responded immediately to requests, and had a good breakfast which you could either book ahead for every day or eat there when more convenient. Our room was small, but the bed was huge, the shower was hot, and coffee, tea, sugar, milk, and bottled water were provided. The hotel was in Piccadilly at one end of Leicester Square, but you would never know it in the room. Even though we looked out right onto a large busy square, our room was entirely silent. Staff were so friendly and helpful, both at the front desk and in the cafe, and the cleaning staff were always gracious and helpful. We could not have been happier with our choice.

Stayed before as perfect location, always feel safe area. Staff have always been friendly and helpful and we have always slept well. We were supposed to have the sister hotel the first time we stayed but was sent here. Despite my small moan from last stay. I don't think anyone could go wrong using this hotel, not tried breakfast as a great Gregs nearby and costa next door.

pricing quite high (I'm guessing due to location although not checked out other hotels as we love this location), room this time smelt musty think it was the bathroom. Toilet hard to flush. Did inform staff. Also on our last day checkout 11:00 we had maids knocking several times even though we told them we would not be checking out until check out time, I was fed up at the time. (I know just trying to get the rooms ready) However saying this we will still stay again, as only picky bits.

A nice hotel in an excellent location. Easy access via Piccadilly line from Heathrow airport. Easy walk to Buckingham palace, Houses of Parliament, regent street and China town. Many other attractions like London eye and St Paul’s cathedral are relatively close by.

Breakfast only is available and limited in variety but was adequate. The gym is small and basic.

The hotel was central to many attractions and theatres. Efficient check in. Room was ready on our arrival, 3 hours earlier than we’d expected. Our superior deluxe room was large with super king sized bed. The view from our window showed London at its busiest - a true bustling city view. The hotel was very quiet and we enjoyed a comfortable night’s sleep. The lift and room were spotless.

The rainfall shower had to be prepared to hand shower, otherwise you could be met by a shower on entry, which, for someone trying to keep hair dry was challenging! The key-fob was bent so we had to have it replaced after discovering it was useless.

The shower and sink provided reliably hot water whenever needed. Room air conditioner worked well and was quiet making the room very comfortable. The room was clean and quiet overall. The bed was comfortable and clean. The hotel is very centrally located, making it very convenient.

My only complaint is that the room and bathroom felt quite compact. It is great for a 1 or 2 night stay. For a longer stay (three days or more), it wasn’t very comfortable due to the limited space for storage and organization.

The hospitality of the staffs were on top. One of them named Chia was an angel yesterday. We're so out of head about going to Heathrow Airport could not by taxi. The Pride Festival desperately ruined our plan. Thank God Chia had whole heartedly helped us carrying 2 of our heaviest luggages until we reached Leicester Square Station while it was raining pretty hard. Overall, the experience was fantastic with the staffs

The flush of the toilet had worked very slowly. Please if possible make it better for the future.

For the price of the accommodation and the fact it’s a 4 star hotel, the sofa bed mattress is horrific, It’s extremely thin and not comfortable at all. Not something someone can sleep on for several nights let alone one night. Due to this, We ended up having to get a second room. Extremely unfortunate and a last minute expensive expense. The shower head(s), the big shower head, nearly all the holes were blocked with lime scale so water could not get through and the small head on the hose, had a lot of leaks so water was going everywhere, this hose had to be hand held, as it was attached to the wall at chest height(i’m only 5,6). There is also no Hotel resident bar, again for a 4 star hotel,it was a pity to not have available. Minor detail, but if someone didn’t want a loud bar with hustle and bustle, and wanted a nice quiet drink at the end of the day/evening, it was missed. The location is smack centre, its prime location, you are so close to so many fantastic destinations and easy access to the underground. The staff are super friendly and helpful, and the hotel was spotlessly clean.

I had a wonderful stay at Thistle Piccadilly. The location is absolutely unbeatable – right in the heart of everything, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city. The staff were outstanding – a special thank you to Rashid, Khadeja, Malik, Andrea, and the entire team for their warm hospitality and exceptional service. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the bathroom had hot water available at all times, which was much appreciated after long days out. I highly recommend this hotel, especially for its amazing location and great staff. Looking forward to staying here again!
