Hotel is centrally located in the heart and buzz of London

Check-in is far too late at 3pm and if you want to leave your suitcase in storage theirs a charge - never been to a hotel that’s charged for storing the suitcase when your not allowing customers to check-in earlier and if you want to checkin an hour earlier theirs another charge - not very customer centric - even the gym has an extra charge which is very disappointing.

Large, modern and clean rooms. Very central in a busy and safe part of the city. Brilliant value for money

Bathrooms were not as clean as the bedroom, with some mould around vents and growth in the sink and shower. Just note the room doesn’t come with desk, chair, hairdryer etc, and is dark, if those are factors that matter to you.

Friendly and helpful staff. Location to local transport, food and entertainment. Darkness and quietness during the night.

Glass walls in toilet area. I was travelling with a friend and the lack of privacy offered by the toilet was challenging.

Location of the property is fantastic right off Piccadilly Circus, perfect for travel and connections. Staff were lovely. Nice chill out space down stairs.

We paid £465 for 1 night for 5 people in one room which to be fair not a low budget for the product There is a charge £15 for storing bags, I have done a lot of traveling and never has a hotel I was staying in charged me to store a bag which btw was only a back pack We arrived to the hotel at 12.30pm off a flight that had been delayed so we said we would see if our room was ready but because the check in time is not till 3pm we were charged an extra £40 to check in at 12.30pm even though the room was ready this seems exorbitant over pricing and if we had arrived before 12 we would have been charged £60 this blows my mind and something to bare in mind when booking, also check out is 10am again a charge would be incurred if you wanted to store bags

Good central locatio right at Picadilly Circus. Simple but nice room, good ventilation.

Not suitable if you are claustrophobic. Self check-in, did not speak to staff at reception. Apart from myself several friends booked here at Zedwell through the Booking platform, all of us got scammer messages through Booking trying to get credit card and passport details, causing one friend having to cancel his card. Both Zedwell and Booking need to step up their online security to avoid fraud and scam.

The location is amazing if you're visiting the area of Piccadilly, Soho, Oxford Street, Leicester Square, etc. Bed was super comfortable, and bathroom was spacious enough.

Paying for left luggage following check-out - £15 per luggage item left. I think it's expensive, and if they'd like to charge a nominal fee, I understand but most hotels offer this as part of the charge of the hotel stay. The hotel stay is already quite expensive, so I didn't quite understand the reasoning behind this additional charge. An additional charge of £40 is also expensive to checkin an hour or so before, when most hotels would give you the room if it has already been cleaned.

+ Perfect location, very central! + Easy self-check-in & check-out + Friendly staff + Great Uber ordering system in the lobby + Very comfortable beds, pillows and duvets! + Vending machines in the lobby for drinks, snack and a little assortment of beauty products.

- Had to pay extra for luggage storage on our departure day (15 Pounds per bag) - Were staying for 3 Nights and asked every day for an extra duvet. Each time we were told that they would bring one in 20-30 minutes. Never received one. - Since there are no windows it can get a little sticky since you cannot air out the room. The lack of windows also doesn't help the horrible lighting (terrible to do your make up).

The lighting made the hotel look very modern and greatly helped make the room feel less closed in since there were no windows. The staff were all very friendly! A great modern, minimalist style and clean room with helpful amenities. The location was absolutely amazing for the price!

If one person gets up before the other, showering until both people are awake is pretty impossible. The bathroom doors do not block light out at all, so the whole room is bright. I also wouldn't recommend staying with a family member because the shower/bathroom doors are a bit too revealing for (at least me personally) comfort with anyone other than my partner.

Some of the reviews were quite scary to read, and now I feel that most people probably expected some kind of luxury hotel but for that price, what were they thinking? The room was clean, it had everything we needed, we even had 2 beds instead of the expected 1. It was the most quiet room I could ask for. We slept so well, they brought us additional towels and toilet paper even if we didn't request it, and the location is perfect for a weekend to London (super touristy neighbourhood but then easy to access everything).

Charging guests a crazy amount to keep luggage before/ after checkout: we used a Stasher drop point at a 3 min walk from the hotel and it was perfect, around 12 pounds for two bags. But it would be way more convenient for the hotel to offer storage FOR FREE. The beds and pillows could have been more comfortable and some bath towels were stained.
