The room is very modern and has everything you need, including premium air conditioning. The bed was comfortable. The location of the hotel is very central. Piccadilly Circus, Oxford Street, Covent Garden, and Trafalgar Square are in 5–10 min walking distance. The room is not the biggest, but unbeatable given the fair price and incredible location.

The bathroom is not really a separate room. There is a thin, somewhat seethrough glass wall, which means that everything going in the bathroom can be heard and seen. This may not be an issue for some, but could for others, so just be aware of this.

Loved our stay here, rooms were spacious and cozy and the staff were always pleasant. Coming from Australia our flight got to London at 6am so we got to the hotel at about 8am (I think most flights from Australia are similar)! But the staff were really accommodating and held our luggage and showed us to a ground floor bathroom where we could get changed and freshen up. Checkin was way later and we were exhausted after 30hrs of travel but at about 11am after we had explored a bit and come back they offered us a different room to what we had booked which was already ready for only a small price extra which we were incredibly grateful for. The hotel is staffed 24/7 and the location was absolutely brilliant and completely centrally located to everything we wanted to do. We could pretty much walk to most attractions or catch the train which was a 5 min walk. The big bus tour also stops pretty much right out front of the hotel! Wasn’t expecting much for the cheap price we paid for this hotel but it well and truly exceeded our expectations!

Nothing - property was lovely

The hotel is so central (corner with Haymarket Road which leads to Trafalgar Square), and yet it is in a quiet area. It is comfy and clean. The staff is very sweet and helpful too. We arrived well before the official Check In time (as I had advised the hotel), and the room was ready by the time of our arrival which was brilliant for us! 5* on that! A good breakfast is offered at an extra charge, and water is offered for free. The room had a walk- in shower. Loved the fact that there's an AC which worked well in such high unpredictable temperatures. I loved that our room was on the ground floor and saved me steps. However, the hotel is equipped with an elevator.

The room was pretty small and didn't have a wardrobe, nor a window which could be opened. Moreover the mattress of the double bed was resting against the wall, making it a struggle for anyone sleeping on the inside to get in and out of bed especially if the other person is asleep. Moreover, the shower cubicle is see-through so anybody having a shower can be seen from the bedroom. On the bright side, the mattress and pillows were very comfortable.

The location was the reason I initially booked the hotel and it proved to be exactly what I was looking for. The hotel is very centrally located and it was a five-minute walk to either the tube or to Trafalgar Square to grab a hop on/hop off tourist bus. Also, it was a short walk to restaurants of all price points, cafes, shopping, and tourist attractions. By American standards, the rooms are small. BUT, you cannot beat the location for the price! I am a single woman in her 50s and I travel solo a LOT internationally. I felt very safe in this hotel. I also must rave about the staff! The staff at the hotel were exemplary. They were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area. I am severely allergic to feathers and they had no problem substituting to polyfoam pillows. Additionally, I stayed at the hotel at the beginning of my trip and then at the end of my trip. I had to take a short business trip between the two weekends I stayed at the hotel. When I came back for the second half of my trip, they knew I was coming and were able to get me checked in a little earlier. Which I was SO grateful for! Another thing that was super helpful was that there was a USB and a USB-C port next to the bed. Really helpful for keeping my phone and other electronics charged. I would stay here again, and I would tell my friends and family to stay here, too. :-)

By American standards, the rooms are TINY, so Americans, be prepared for that. BUT, they aren't that much smaller than hotel rooms that I've had in New York or San Francisco. This is picky, but I wish there were tissues in the rooms, lol. I needed one a couple of times for my makeup.

This is the perfect place to stay while doing a business or personal short visit to London. The location cannot be beat, and the room with its functional, simple design perfectly suited my needs. I was able to be in and out, including check in/check out, in no time. I would stay there again next time I visited London. Keep in mind, the room is excellent for someone not intending to spend much time inside the room. It was perfect for me while traveling alone, but it would feel quite tight with a couple. Though, the excellent price and location might make it enticing either way - a couple could squeeze.

The room (24) was extremely compact. That suited me for half a night as I had to leave at 04:00 so wasn't needing a grand room. It was perfectly put together though in layout, lighting and facility - very well designed (George Clarke would have been amazed lol). Great large TV at end of bed! It was easily accessible on the ground floor and very close to reception / entrance / exit, which suited my arrival and departure times. It was surprisingly quiet, off its own small lobby (only shared with 25). The hotel is tucked away down a back street but has pleasant small bar and seating space. Again well designed.

I hadn't expected such a small room (24) - no more than 2m wide by 3.5m long, which included the ensuite! Must be the smallest in the hotel by far and has no windows. It was over priced for its size and if I was staying a full day or more would have complained. Two sharing the room would be very uncomfortable or intimate, depending on your stance but probably problematic as only one side of the bed was accessible! Ideal for solo traveller on very short stay, as also little clothes hanging space - no cupboard just hangers on the wall.

Perfect location, we went to see the phantom of the opera and it was literally around the corner. Lovely, clean hotel, with all amenities such as coffee making facilities in the room, en-suite, and free view tv. We didn’t have a window in our room, but I would pick that room again, it was so cosy. Made our birthday/wedding anniversary perfect. The cafe was open 24/7 and also served a beautiful continental breakfast the next morning. Staff were certainly friendly and polite. Very pleasant stay and would highly recommend. Thank you

Such a long walk from the theatre to the hotel 🤣 No honestly, there was nothing to not like…apart from our stay felt too short-cannot wait to come again

The location was amazing, close to the tube and the various bus lines. From Piccadilly/around that area, food and shopping is accessible too. Staff at the Z Hotel are available 24/7 and were attentive to our every need. We got upgraded to a room with a window (with a poor view, but we’ll take it!) after the aircon in our previous room (on the basement floor (5) wasn’t working. This switch happened efficiently, so no complaints there!

The rooms are VERY cramped. Beyond what you’d picture from photos. The beds are comfy and the sheets are clean, but there’s hardly room enough to walk around or set down any luggage. The shower is very small as well. The toilets are not great and could use better plumbing, as it consistently took multiple flushes to get it to work.

A wonderful location with plenty to do. I stayed the the London Marathon weekend so it was extremely busy. Staff were fantastic, looking after our suitcases while we went to the ExCel centre on the Saturday morning before we checked in, and they also put them away for us while we ran the marathon. The gentleman behind the bar gave us a free cup of tea on our arrival which was a nice touch. Overall I would happily stay here again, only next time I'd have to pay more for a better room.

My room was classed as inside so it had no windows. This still cost me a fortune, and the air-conditioning was a little disappointing.

Rooms are small but they are designed very well! Room size is clearly told in booking information. The location is awesome. It is very very central but in a quiet small street with no crowds or noicy traffic at night. Brilliant. Shower was working well and so was the air conditioner unit (although some times made a bit weird noices). We had tv and wall straight at the foot of the bed and I really liked it. Seems that they have some other layouts too. The room was very clean when we arrived. I loved the pillow and I wish I had one at home - on the other hand my spouse didn't like those so perhaps they are not perfect for everyone. Our room in 3rd floor had a window facing to the street but there was not annoying street noice. Of course you can hear something but it didn't bother my sleeping like it has in some places with worse windows. It was nice to see out from a higher floor. We had breakfast one morning and it was very good for the price. I also liked the fact you could get food from the hotel in the evenings, we didn't try it though. The staff in the breakfast room were very professional.

I would have preferred the sheets would have been changed and floors sweeped on cleaning day. On the other hand - I don't do it at home every other day either. But it is a part of hotel luxury. And I wonder what would have happened if we were there for... two weeks for example.
