It was a delightful spread, complete with an array of hams, cheeses, fresh bread, hearty beans, delicious jams, and creamy yogurt. Starting the day with such a hearty meal was a real treat! Ideal Location: The location of the hotel couldn’t have been better for our needs. It was an easy and affordable ride from the airport (6 GBP), and we even had the chance to take an Uber to Windsor Castle for a wonderful meal at a nearby restaurant—just a 15-minute drive away! Exceptional Service: What truly set our stay apart was the incredible staff. Alma at the front desk was a gem! We arrived a bit early, but she managed to find us a room before check-in time, allowing us to relax for a few minutes. Her recommendations for nearby attractions and help with my UPS package were greatly appreciated—her willingness to assist made a significant difference in our experience. Evening Enjoyment: For dinner, we had a lovely time at the hotel bar, enjoying delicious food and refreshing drinks. It was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring and traveling. All in all, we had a wonderful time at Hilton Heathrow. With a fantastic breakfast, prime location, and exceptional service, I can’t wait to return! During an unexpected layover due to a canceled flight, I had the opportunity to stay at the DoubleTree Hilton London Heathrow Airport, and I must say it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The hotel's proximity to Heathrow Airport makes it an ideal choice for travelers. Just a short drive away, it provides a convenient and comfortable refuge for those in need of a quick and easy stopover. Despite being so close to the airport, the hotel manages to offer a peaceful atmosphere, which is a relief after a hectic travel day. The room was well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a flat-screen TV, a work desk, and a beautifully appointed bathroom. The check-in process was swift, and I was greeted with their signature warm chocolate chip cookie, which was a delightful touch. The staff's professionalism and friendliness made my unexpected stay much more enjoyable. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which featured a variety of hot and cold dishes, fresh fruits, pastries, and made-to-order omelets. The quality of the food and the service was excellent, providing a great start to the day.

The only downside to my stay was the unreliable airport shuttle service. While the hotel advertises this convenience, I found the shuttle to be inconsistent, with long wait times and unclear schedules. This was a minor inconvenience, but it did add some stress to an otherwise smooth experience.

We ended up not having breakfast - instead had dinner - it was (unexpectedly) good, especially we read of bad feedback on the food at this hotel. IT WAS very good. nothing fancy but nice. Room is basic but got everything we needed, although it would have been nicer if there is a fridge - as we took back some left-over food from Xmas gathering. since it's winter, we used our car for fridge... Bed if comfortable - pillows were wonderfully comfortable.

This place is great. The windows have two layers of double-glazing panes so. despite the room facing the busy road and aircraft taking off close by, it is near silent in the room. There's no weird clicking or humming noises that you often get in some hotels. There are also blackout curtains which keep the room dark even in daylight. So the main function of the room - somewhere to sleep in is excellent. I ordered room service which was prompt and delicious despite the hotel being very busy. Staff were great even under the pressure of being so unexpectedly busy. Transport links are excellent. The 111 bus from just outside takes you all the way to Heathrow bus station quickly and cheaply.

It's a minor gripe but the tv didn't turn on via the remote. I had to find a button on the back of it to turn it on but the staff assisted me in this. Wifi was a little flaky and my conference call was dropped a couple of times.

I like how clean the place was. The beds were so comfortable had very nice rooms overall. Absolutely loved the layout of the hotel and its facilities. It was very ideally located.

I didn’t like the mix up we had with the payment upon arrival. But other than that our stay ways amazing. Staff were always friendly and helpful.

I thought signage or explanation of the light key pad would have been helpful. You have to insert the room key into a key pad (?) and leave it there while in the room for the electricity to work. Being from the USA, I had not experienced this before.

The check-in was quick, reception were very friendly. A warm cookie on arrival was well received after a long day of travel. The room was spacious and clean and in good order. We had a snack and drinks in the bar, which was a very comfortable space. The breakfast was a really good selection, replenished quickly and very tasty. Check out was quick and simple.

The room was quite cold with the air con on, which we didn't seem to be able to just switch off. There was confusion at breakfast as they didn't have our room number down for an included breakfast, but this was quickly resolved.

Great location, parking (although not free), friendly staff, clean and comfortable. Reasonably priced for a hotel in this location.

The Queen Room didn’t feel as luxurious as we had hoped, and it wasn’t the same room as shown in the photograph’s online.

The extras in the room ironing board, iron, different types of coffee, trouser press, soaps shampoo conditioner and moisturizing cream. Other Hotels in this price bracket do not offer all of this, and to add to this, a fabulous full English breakfast, not just continental. Would highly recommend and would defo use again.
