In a great location close to train stations and right on the river. Clean, comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Although breakfast was buffet style the food was very nice. We arrived early (and ask to drop our bags so that we could go off and explore) but our room was ready at 1pm so we were allowed to check in.

Our room was a little dated (but was comfortable). The room extras; tea, coffee and biscuits were welcome, as was the bottle of water, though I was rather annoyed that I had to pay if I wanted a replacement on the second day. If we’d have not stayed a second night and someone else had moved in, they’d have had to put a fresh bottle in the room. Over £200 a night and you have to pay for water? Also, when checking in on line, there was an option to skip room cleaning, with a zero charge; no thank you. If they want to charge for water, early check-in (£50 when checking in online) and late check out, if you want me to skip cleaning, I’ll take a discount thank you.

The location is great, a nice stroll to the castle. We stayed in one of the separate buildings, room was nice and spacious. Reception gave me a rose on arrival as international women’s day which was a lovely gesture.

The breakfast is a little disappointing. Although there is plenty on offer, it doesn’t feel on keeping with the hotel standard being a self service buffet. I much prefer a menu.

Variety at breakfast and staff were well trained, had very good knowledge and helped with all needs. We had 16+ of us for a family event. Wonderful stay. Room was excellent, plenty of towels. Linen was flawless and the maids were so polite. Tea & Coffee in the room was delicious and well stocked.

There were no period products in the ladies toilets, for this standard of hotel I would expect this. I gave another guest (american lady) one evening, some products as she had checked in too late after coming directly from Heathrow, to go to the pharmacy and didn’t want to bother staff… The breakfast was good, however I did think the hashbrowns were below par comparatively to the rest of the hot food quality(sausages were excellent).

Staff were very helpful, considerate, patient (especially with our disabilities - mobility and hearing) and very kindly and promptly catered to our needs and requests for assistance. Room was very comfortable, more spacious than expected, and catered to our mobility needs. Location was superb - ideal for us (close to Windsor Castle, good cafes and restaurants, and the river - we could watch the ducks, swans and other river traffic all day). Restaurant/ breakfast: food, staff and view were exceptional. Buildings - lovely architecture.

For mobility issues, slightly too many steps and uneven ground (especially reception, restaurant and other facilities being in another building to our room).

A solution to a problem we had….see next question.

A lot of varying sized staircases, no lifts but still manageable. Our room (No24)was lovely and obviously recently refurbished, however the beautiful bathroom had a straight down ‘waterfall’ shower, unfortunately the separate moveable head attachment had not been installed so a problem for my wife who had her hair styled specially the afternoon previously! We were initially informed that no other rooms were available but she could shower in the Spa, which was across the access road in a different building!! We made it clear that this was not acceptable and a few minutes later an alternative room did become available for us.

Location: Absolutely perfect – right next to the River Thames and just a short walk to Windsor Castle. Ideal for sightseeing and scenic walks. • Historic charm: The building has beautiful architecture and blends classic English elegance with modern comfort. • Staff and service: Friendly, professional, and helpful throughout the stay. • Room comfort: Clean, well-furnished rooms with comfortable beds. Some rooms offer lovely views of the river. • Breakfast: Tasty and with a good variety, served in a lovely dining area with river views.

Loved the location and had the option to park🚘 in a nearby car park, which hotel staff kindly organised extra time after we checked out so we could spend the afternoon in Windsor before returning home. Lovely view👀 from window🪟 of the Castle🏰. Breakfast 🍞🥓🍳🍄‍🟫🍅🥚🥞🥐🫖☕️☕️was good and in a lovely room to view🪟 the river 🦢🦢🦆🦆 while eating. Nice to also have an outside space🪴🪻🌷 to enjoy a drink🍸🥂🥃 overlooking the river🦢🦆🛥 and watch the sun🌅 go down. All the staff were very friendly 😀 The only thing is that if you're on a higher floor room and not good with stairs, would check with hotel, we were fine but know a relative would have not been able to manage the stairs if we had taken her. But I would highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Windsor.

Just add a few more milks and Tea & coffee bits in tray would have been better in room, but I asked, and we were supplied with.

On the hottest weekend of the year an air conditioned hotel including bedroom was amazing. Staff, despite being very busy with functions, were excellent, very polite, made eye contact and always helpful. As well as bar /restaurant staff the hotel reception was very helpful. In addition the domestic staff were continuously and almost imperceptibly clearing up after each event to ensure the hotel was in peak condition for all its guests. We had a great weekend and will definitely come back.

Lack of free car parking.

The breakfast room was well staffed. Food choices were wonderful. I noted that staff checked temperatures of food, which is an important food handling method that is too often skipped. We loved the view from the breakfast room. The location was perfect. We enjoyed walking on both the Eton and Windsor sides. Sweet neighborhoods, lots of restaurants and interesting shops. Fabulous views.

Having an elevator would have been nice. We were exhausted from two weeks of travel and had to awkwardly lug our suitcases down the steps for checkout.

The room was lovely, the food was good and the price was very reasonable

The staff at breakfast didn’t have a clue, we had been shown to our table ordered the coffee once it arrived we went up to get our breakfasts, only to come back and find our table had been cleared and another couple had been shown to the same table by the same person! When I asked how this had happened he didn’t even say sorry! But walked off and showed the next couple to a table while my wife and I had been left standing in the middle of the restaurant holding our toast and cereal! Not acceptable at all, asked for the manager but no one came, then another waiter came along and helped with us getting another table. Very poor customer service, this really spoilt the start of the day.
