The welcome was very helpful and friendly. The staff were excellent. The welcome drink and relaxed atmosphere has been great. We stayed here for a trip to Windsor Castle and to London and it was perfect. We arrived early and parked for £5 for 24 hrs close by then it is a couple of minutes walk to the station then only 6 minutes on the train, and parking in Slough plus train for 3 still cheaper than parking in Windsor- and nice to arrive on train. We moved our car to the hotel's carpark overnight after checking in and left it there for our day in London. 18-30 minutes on the train to London and great value from here. We ate in the hotel's Jim's bar the first night, which was delicious and had amazing big windows on the 9th floor looking out over a beautiful sky to Windsor Castle one way and the London skyline further round was amazing. The staff could not have been more helpful with our dietary requirements! There is Tesco and the Slough High St very close, which has been useful. The room was really comfy and well laid out with everything we could need- we had a triple and the pull out bed was perfectly big, strong and comfy for my man-sized 16 yr old son, and the double was large and comfy so all good for me and my mum. Everything about the room was perfect for us and I liked the attention to detail such as a cleverly designed seat, stool, and supplying conditioner as well as shampoo and shower gel, and a proper good hair dryer. Having 24 hr reception was great with our trip to London as we were back after midnight but still a nice buzz in the hotel. Our room was super quiet though only on 1st floor. And having air conditioning was a great relief with this hot summer. There was lots of choice for the breakfast buffet and a good team filling everything and tidying tables so worked like clockwork and all very tasty. All round the Moxy has been brilliant and we highly recommend and would love to come back or stay at their other branches!

Nothing - it's all be really great

The hotel is very close to the train station and there is plenty of parking nearby, so ideally located for a trip to Windsor or London. The Thunderbirds theme adds extra interest, particularly since some of the items are fairly subtle. The bed was very comfortable. The Pakistan restaurant across the road is excellent with good portions at a reasonable price.

The breakfast was of a reasonable standard and good variety. However items, including plates, mugs, cutlery, bacon etc were not been replenished at a fast enough rate to meet demand. The breakfast buffet is not clearly laid out and can be difficult to find items. Only one member of staff was working at the buffet and although she could not be faulted an extra pair of hands would have helped. The room is fairly sparsely furnished, with a small bathroom. It was very clean and perfect for a one night stay, but not for a longer stay

Love the funky decor and style. Great idea having the pool table and table tennis table available in the communal area. Fantastic breakfast. Good value for money and convenient for Heathrow for our overnight stay after a long flight. Free parking only 4 mins walk from the hotel.

Our triple room turned out to only have one proper double bed and then a camp bed that had seen better days. It was very saggy and uncomfortable. It’s quite hard to find a hotel for three sharing one room. I think if it had been clearer that one bed will be a camp bed we would still have booked as the price was good but it’s better to be up front about it.

It was central to where I wanted to go for work. It was clean and staff were helpful. Free drink on arrival and food was lovely and service was excellent in the restaurant. Modern.

I didn’t like that I had to walk through smokers to get inside. The TV kept stopping. This happened before when I stayed. They have something wrong with the signal. It would just pause and not start had to switch channels and back again so missed loads. Noisy with traffic. Was ok once out ear plus in. No ironing board in room but had one down the corridor. Parking not outside hotel but not too far but not good if you have trouble walking.

Hotel had a nice vibe, it was quirky and the room was nice, if you didn’t look out the window. Had a view of the adjacent property from our window but probably better than the one facing the street. Staff were friendly and the kids enjoyed the theme of the hotel. Parking was an utter pain, had to leave car in an open car park five mins away. Was half expecting it to be broken into or without wheels the next morning but it wasn’t and that wasn’t the hotels fault but would have liked some advice about parking from the hotel instead of guessing where to park as there’s nowhere to stop near the hotel as it’s a one way system going around it. Found a car park for £5 for 24hrs in the end.

The location was great.Very close to slough train station and also nearby to 702/703 bus line which goes directly to city centre. The staff were polite and welcoming.The place is cosy with very beautiful decor.

There was no intercom inside the rooms so for any queries we had to come down to the reception for anything. The wash basin was very small and water was not draining into the sink as expected so it used to overflow. Drawers or cupboard was not there which would have been helpful. Hangers were very less but the housekeeping was able to provide us some more upon request.

The facilities were high standard with gym access, free drink at bar that included food & snacks available and excellent breakfast options at restaurant. The beds were comfortable & shower exceptional. The reception & general staff were very supportive and operational 24/7. Location was within walking distance of Slough Station and the Moxy was easy to spot once you left at the station to main street.

The room was limited in resources like no ironing available for self use and no closet space. TV was limited in services but comfy bed and good shower.

We loved the quirky decor, bright colourful, funky but with very complementary lighting which made it feel high end and relaxing. We loved going to the 9th floor to have dinner at Jim’s Kitchen and Bar where we had the best pizza we’ve ever eaten! (Including a dairy free one) The room was fantastic, spotlessly clean with hot shower, nice linen and a supremely comfortable bed. The staff were friendly and attentive, the manager was very helpful with helping us choose food for our son who has allergies. The communal area was so much fun and our son had a great time playing table tennis as we relaxed with a coffee. There were board games and books to read too. The buffet style breakfast was very nice, sausages and bacon were notably tasty and there was lots of choice of fruit, bread and cereals. We were just so impressed with The Moxy.

Parking was quite far away and at night didn’t feel very safe, this can’t be helped but just be aware.

Very clean, very friendly staff and the room was tidy with working AC. Bed was comfortable too.

Breakfast food quality wasn’t very nice- fruit salad was very good. Shower didn’t work very well (knob was tight and hard to turn but worked fine once I managed to turn it) Was caught off guard by you needing to take a deposit because I wasn’t aware this would be required as an extra and nearly didn’t bring a card with me. No secure parking for work van or motorcycle.

Front of house staff very friendly and professional, the free cocktails were a nice touch and very welcome after a sad grueling day. I was also given some chocolates as I had broken my foot! Hotel is immaculately clean in all areas. Nice comfortable beds.

I thought the rooms were quite small. We had a broken light fitting above the bed. Considering the room was for two people the complementary tea and coffee could have included a few hot chocolate drinks and a biscuit or two. Maybe I am being a bit picky, but it is a 4 star hotel and not the cheapest place to stay.
