Room, especially bathroom had areas not dusted.

Facilities are excellent and the location is a perfect base to explore from.

Just a minor point but felt that our check in could have been slightly improved. We arrived at approximately 250pm and I was politely requested by the receptionist to return in five minutes or so nearer to the check in time of 3pm. This seemed slightly excessive as a quick call could have clarified if our room was ready or not. I must stress this is a very minor observation and has not detracted in any way from our excellent experience at Bisham Abbey. This is our second two night stay at the Abbey and we would not hesitate to return.

Breakfast excellent. Beds lovely and comfortable. Poor phone reception. TV difficult to use and signal foe BBC awful. Tea and coffee stuff not fully filled or replenished and cups not washed next day Rooms and common areas spotless A bar would have been nice for evenings and night. Spotlessly clean in room and common areas. I had no shower gel, though did have a bath. A bottle of water and tissues in room would have been good. Beds were lovely and comfortable.

A wonderfully peaceful weekend stay! The property is blissfully quiet, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. The staff were friendly, helpful, and informative, which made everything really easy from the start. Our room was clean and had everything we needed, with a huge bed and fresh linen. The shower was powerful which was a real treat for sore muscles after a gym session in their very well-equipped fitness suite. One of the most unique and enjoyable aspects of our stay was being based within a sports centre. It gave the whole experience a refreshing, athlete-inspired feel, which I really appreciated. The location was also ideal. We loved being able to take a scenic countryside walk into Marlow for dinner, then enjoy a peaceful stroll back as the sun set - such a lovely highlight of the weekend! Parking was super convenient too, which made the whole trip really straightforward. Overall, it was a great and memorable stay. I’d definitely return!

Breakfast was quite poor, food quality could’ve been better and the times should’ve been longer as it was only 8am-10am, with checkout being at 11am. It all felt quite rushed and not as relaxing as it could’ve been. The juice machine wasn’t topped up so couldn’t have any orange or apple juice with breakfast which was quite disappointing.

We stayed here for pub in the park Marlow. Great value rooms with a fab breakfast! Fantastic to have free use of some of the facilities and we even booked a game of squash for the first morning of our stay. Walk home was a little dark but the cost savings were well worth it!!! Overall great stay, would definitely come back!!!

Opening up the bar / cafe space for an area to sit together as two couples would have been nice. We were conscious that we didnt want to meet in a room and disturb other guests. We were in a disabled room which was all fine but we could have done with an additional long mirror for standing as all mirrors in the room were at wheelchair height.

Fantastic overnight stay. Convenient location on outskirts of pretty village with a medieval church right on the riverbank! The Parking was easy. Set in spacious sports facility grounds. Check in easy. Good Coffee shop right in lobby. All staff were great.The Room was spacious, and very clean. The beds were as good as a £450 a night stay we did nr. The Ritz in London !!! No joking! Breakfast in the morning was Ace with REAL FRESH FOOD - it actually caters for elite GB Atheletes, so I guess this is no surprise!! We enjoyed sitting at a picnic table in the evening sun watching tennis coaching on 4 courts opposite the accommodation. Yes, it's not luxuriously appointed and the lift interior is a bit scratched and there is only a shower head above the bath - But who cares. At the price being charged its a TOP NOTCH STAYOVER!

Considering it's within a sports centre and the accommodation is aimed at visiting athletes, it's somewhat austere for more out-of-shape visitors, but comfortable enough. If it has aircon, it wasn't working and, considering the stay costs, it could use some more homely touches. Breakfast variety was middling good (fruit/poached eggs/veggie sausages deficient), but replenishment of items wasn't speedy enough. Overall, better than acceptable with a pleasant operating team.

Missing room some 'proper hotel' touches, as above i.e. aircon, safe, water, tissues (supplied on request, tho'). Nothing too serious

Breakfast some hot dishes were cold nothing special but enough!

Pod Point EV (PP) charger initially would not charge my car, then my holster would not release from the PP and PP online customer services had to force unlock me, then I could not release the charger cable from my car, eventually called AA who released me and reset my car, the local patrolman who rescued me commented that these chargers were unreliable and I was not the only one to be rescued from the sports centre with the same problem! This bad & cosy experience has put me off using your great hotel again! sorry

I have stayed at Bisham Abbey on two occasions for sports training/competitions. It is beautifully clean, with comfortable beds, crisp cotton bedding, a hot and powerful shower. There is plenty of parking and it is in a lovely quiet location, easy to walk down to the river. The breakfast is fantastic!! Plentiful cooked options, toast, porridge, fruit, juices, tea and coffee. The gym is huge and excellent as you would expect at a National Sports Centre. It is great value.

No negatives, I really can't fault it for the price.

I just want to say a big thank you to the receptionist who was determined to find me a room with a bath. I requested it on my booking. However I was given a room with a shower. That receptionist did incredible job trying to find a room with a bath for me. Thanks to that I could relax after work. I liked the dining area because it was brand new. Modern furniture and clean. I liked the price. Mobile price is even cheaper. The accomodation had a really low price considering the fact it was Saturday night.
