The staff are fantastic! Incredibly friendly and keen to make sure your stay is comfortable as possible. The room is lovely and has the best hotel bed I’ve ever slept in along with an amazing bathroom and spacious, excellent toiletries and masses of hot water. The food in the restaurant is lovely and they also have some lovely and reasonably precursors local real ale on tap. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if I could get the same rate another time as I am in the area weekly for work.

The only small issue was the bedroom and bathroom were quite cold first thing this morning. It felt like the heating hadn’t kicked in.

Great little pub in a surprisingly rural setting given it's proximity to London. The room was very nice, tastefully decorated and the adjoining bathroom was excellent with a large bath and a shower. There is ample free parking on site and whilst we didn't eat there, the food did look good. The pub doesn't serve breakfast but that's of little consequence as there's a Toby Carvery literally five minutes drive away. I'd definitely recommend this place :)

we loved the room and all its comforts. The bed was very comfortable and quite location. Will check the other room maybe next time, since the window of ours was directly on the street so could not really get natural lights. Bathroom was spacious clean.

was pity they could not offer breakfast, and we did not understand correctly the time for dinner so we could get only few drinks in the evening, but was probably our fault not to ask

A very pleasant pub, with a local feel, and an intimate and well set out dining area. It combines traditional pub bar rooms, with a larger dining area, but all tastefully fitted out. There are 2 bedrooms, with excellent bathrooms and rustic interiors. One has a 4 poster bed and both good tea/coffee etc. They are quite quirky, but very appealing. The food was very good and the service and staff excellent. The village is very pleasant, old and relatively quiet.

Breakfast is available in the very pleasant adjacent farm shop, just starts at 0900 hrs. We ate a few minutes away in Gerrards Cross at Gails Bakery, which worked perfectly.

Lovely pub/rooms. Very large, comfortable bed & very nice bedroom decor. Bathroom large with very nice, deep bath. Evening meals were lovely All staff very helpful & friendly.

No breakfast available. Needed to ask for milk each day was not put in the fridge when daily housekeeping was completed. No shower mat - The floor was very slippery, so I needed to use a towel on the base of the shower to prevent possible accidents.

Staff were very attentive and helpful. The room was very big and the bed was extremely comfortable although the variety of lighting switches and their functions was confusing.

The room hadn’t been cleaned/prepared properly: there were (long-standing) cobwebs in several places around the fireplace, in the bathroom and next to the bed where the full length mirror is. There was no milk in the room for tea/coffee and I had to go back downstairs to ask for some. Price was high for literally just the room, no breakfast.

Absolutely fantastic. The room was a combo of old English construction and modern amenities. I had the best night of sleep there I’ve had in months. The pub was wonderful including the people who welcomed me to share drinks with them. And to top it all off the food was excellent. I will definitely stay there again. So much better than the normal airport hotels.

There was nothing I’d change.

Excellent friendly staff and owner. Fabulous room / bed / bathroom in a superbly picturesque village. Lovely friendly locals as well. Good location but with limited public transport which is, however, manageable with sensible planning.

Sorry to say this but, whilst the food was good we were not impressed with the menu selection or it's presentation.

The location was wonderful for a quick walk through a pretty quaint town. The restaurant was also very nice. The rooms were very pretty and well decorated. I loved the bath tub!

Towel and robe situation was not good in the bathroom closet. They were in disarray... some had been used and couldn't tell what was what unfortunately....

Lovely country pub Beautifully decorated large room and en-suite Very comfortable bed

There’s a little bit of mould in the shower that needs attention, but that’s being really picky, otherwise the place was spotless
