The staff where exceptional and went the extra mile for you. Especially, Stella on reception and Alesha in the restaurant and bar area. The swimming pool was so lovely and there was also a sauna which was great. The grounds are beautiful and I would recommend staying here.

This is just an observation for me personally but for breakfast, although they put on a great selection of hot food, and you could request pancakes, which was great; I felt that there could have been more healthy options, like granola, fresh juices but that is just me personally. Other than that the restaurant team were great.

The room was lovely and clean, the staff were very friendly and so helpful. Check-in was smooth as well as check out. The breakfast was lovely and so accessible lots and lots of variety. The outside seating area of the hotel was lovely and picturesque. I would have spent more time out there. However, it was chilly on our stay, but a warm spring/summer day would be so nice.

One downfall of the stay was that the room smelt of smoke upon arrival. I'm not sure if someone had been smoking in there previously, and the smell is very hard to get rid of. That is the only criticism. This may not be down to the hotel, I would like to hope the previous guest would be charged for this happening.

The receptionist took 30 minutes to check us into our room after we already paid 10£ extra to check in a hour early, so half the time we paid for was waisted. We also booked a double bed, I also rang up and emailed before to make sure our room was a double bed and they still gave us two single beds so we have to change rooms which also took ages to change over. The receptionist also tried to charge us 5£ to have 2 glasses for our room. The pool/sauna has potential to be very nice however it was very dirty on the pool floor and in the sauna and changing rooms.

Staff were very friendly and helpful on arrival. Big room and a well appointed accessible bathroom. Excellent choice at breakfast

They advertised an evening buffet but on 11.12.24 this was not available then only bar meals or room service. As I am disabled there was no suitable seating available so I opted for room service. A poor cheese, processed, and tomato toastie, chocolate brownie and a J20 cost me £28. Very over priced! No hot water 12.12.24 Some maintenance needed in bathroom under the washbasin is rotted away, a shame as it let's down a good facility

Breakfast was average, nothing special. Bed was very comfy. Great size room. Staff very nice. Perfect for wheelchairs (room 1, if you are OK with a crap view from the window).

Noise from the corridor at random hours. Other guest talking in the corridor. Staff moving trolleys in the early hours. A soundproof door would cure this, it may as well have been open (room 1). A shame that less able bodied folk have to use this room (the room is designed for them). Feels a bit like it's in the staff quarters. Comfortable non the less.

We had a family room and it was spacious and comfortable. Huge en-suite. Room had a large double, sofa turned into another double (which was ready when we arrived) and a further single pull out bed. So ample for our two adults, two kids set up and still felt like there was plenty of room to get ready etc. We also had dinner in a pod. It was a minimum spend of £100 but we needn’t have worried about that!! 😱 but the food (Indian menu) was delicious and we all loved the experience. We stayed on a Thursday night and hadn’t booked and got a pod but I suspect at other times it probably does get busy.

Pool was ok but a bit dated, spa was now an area for plants and sauna was only really big enough for one party. So with a “stranger” you probably wouldn’t want to squeeze in. Changing rooms were also very small. If you go with the mindset the pool is a bonus for the kids or to swim up and down for 20 mins and then head to your room you wouldn’t be disappointed.

The bed was really really comfy, memory foam good quality mattress. We had a great nights sleep. Rooms were really dark when you shut the blind. You could open the window. Facilities were good. Breakfast was nice. Staff were friendly and helpful.

There was some disrepair in the bathroom and some orange/pink coloured dirt on the bottom of the shower door. The rest of the room Was clean though and so was the actual bath and sink. We looked at facilities when we booked and didn’t realise there was a swimming pool. Had we known we’d have bought our swimsuits. Although saying that no one was in the pool and it seemed like it was locked so not sure we could have used it anyway

The room with a balcony was lovely, very spacious room and clean, would definitely stay again! Put the hotel name in sat nav and not postcode otherwise your taken to the other side and follow the country lane right to the end we're you will find the hotel as we had real confusion at night trying to find hotel and not well sign posted visibly but we wasn't disappointed once we arrived!

The postcode that was put in the sat navigation took us to the other side of the grounds to a construction site, we eventually put in the actual hotels name and eventually did find the hotel but not easily found and no visible signs

The room was a good size, the bathroom lovely. The Grounds are well kept. The bed was firm and honestly had a very peaceful night's sleep on it. The Aircon was Handy also. The chocolate Brownie with ice cream The best I've had, and the chunky chips Were Gorgeous.

The first room Air con did not work, cob webs on the ceiling. We got moved to another room and there was a reddish/orange stain on the toilet seat that after a few scrubs came off. Stains over the dark blue bed throw and sofa and puffet/ Foot stool. Breakfast Pancakes were not American style and Cold when delivered to our room. (The rest of breakfast was hot and lovely.) Other than these few things Nothing more to fault and we will definitely be back.

Our stay was lovely. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We stayed 7 nights, They let us stay in the same room when we booked an extra night. We wanted breakfast on our last day, and they were able to make that despite us being 15 mins late for breakfast. Breakfast was nice and hot delivered to our room, and the price was reasonable and fair. Lovely friendly staff. We will definitely be booking again. This is our second time staying here. It is very central and close to most attractions as we were driving everywhere. Beautiful surrounding areas to see and drive through. Like to thank the reception staff, especially the lady that checked us in and out. (Sorry didn't catch your name.)

Balconies could do with a good clean.. Other than that, absolutely no complaints.
