Everything was excellent.10 out of 10 for me in every aspect. Jay the manager was amazing.He is a very nice person the way he dealt the problem I had with my payment to him. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone staying in Slough. The breakfast was excellent and the Lady who was doing it was very good and nothing was to much trouble for her. The car park there was well protected by cameras With plenty of room for quite a few cars. There is also a shop next door which was very convenient for me. But just to recap everything was excellent.

Rooms are religiously kept very clean daily by staff. Located just outside the LONDON ULEZ area, so perfectly suited my.needs. The cooked part of the breakfasts were served quickly, and everything tasted great. Having a security guy/ night receptionist employed to keep an eye on things was reassuring and great for a late check-in. Safe, free & secure parking a big bonus for me.

When i first arrived, the room was a little cold, especially the bathroom, when I checked in, although it was quite late in the evening, and pretty cold outside. The bathroom radiator in my room didn't work for the first day, as it needed "bleeding." However, the night receptionist guy was very helpful and lent me a heater and did fix the bathroom heater the following day, so all was good there.. The only other minor issue was with the breakfast dining room being in a totally different building across the road, so if it had been snowing, raining, or other bad weather, that could have been an issue. Luckily, there wasn't.

Booked this only a few hours before. The staff were very accommodating as I was arriving at 9.30 (latest check in is 8pm). Great value £48 which included free parking, full English breakfast and private bathroom. Would recommend as a basic value for money, clean hotel. Ample parking too with a convinced shop next door.

The room is basic but clean and exactly what i needed, although it didn't have a hair dryer. There was hand wash in the shower, but overall, this is very minor! Be aware that the hotel is split across two sides of a road, so I stayed on one side and needed to cross the road for breakfast. It's not an inconvenience but something to be aware of!

AJ Lodge was perfectly situated for my trip whilst working at two local hospitals. Wonderful welcome by Jay, good private parking (it is a little tight but i have a large van) The entire lodge is spotless clean, with three shared toilets and three shared showers just on my floor. Comfy bed, good working TV and plenty of breakfast options. It is also walking distance from a number of take outs and restaurants. I have no doubt that i will stay here again.. Thank you Jay and the team.

Honestly i have no complaints about this property.. if you really need a negative, the chair in my room wasn't the most comfortable..

It was easy to find, welcoming and excellent value for money. The room was spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable. The room was walk. The TV was easy to operate. Tea and coffee making was well equipped. The building was secure very reassuring as I was travelling alone. The bathroom had both bath and shower and was very clean. There was unlimited hot water and nice towels. There was secure parking on site. The breakfast was freshly cooked and generous. The dining area was welcoming and very clean. Tea and coffee was unlimited. I felt refreshed and well cared for. There is a convenience store next door. Altogether a very pleasant experience

There was nothing to dislike.

The property is easy to find, has car parking to the rear of the property with plenty of security lights, a manned front desk between certain hours with the option of a key drop box if you're vacating early in the morning. There is a convenience store right next door should you need provisions and a few take aways situated with a short walking distance. The property is well maintained and clean throughout. Overall very happy and recommended.

Not much at all. For the money, it's hard to beat. I wonder if they do regular booking discount as I travel frequently for work.

Extremely friendly and accommodating staff, including the owner Jay and the wonderful ladies at breakfast. We chose AJ Lodge due to its close proximity to M4 and the free parking - which is the most secure parking lot we encountered during our travels. The breakfast is beyond any expectations, with a huge choice of full English breakfast, fresh fruit, a variety of hot drinks, pastries and cereals. The room is comfortable, the tea-coffee making facilities excellent and for those looking for a hot meal, there are a number of eateries in the vicinity. Overall, I would highly recommend AJ Lodge for anyone travelling along the M4, M25 or visiting Windsor.

Plenty of off street parking. Jay was very helpful. Easy access with a code for the entrance door. Comfortable beds. Nice breakfast with plenty of options including full English. We were allowed to use the dining area to eat our take away in the evening.

Very small room, not enough space to use the sink. It should be a single (or a double), not a twin. No space to store your suitcases. Steep staircase. When asked Jay to open the door for me for easy access to the car park he said he cannot because it was a “safety door” (?) but the same door was wide open during breakfast. However, he offered me help to take the suitcases upstairs. Cameras are everywhere, which is good for safety (and became very handy when I thought I lost my key :) but it can be a little intimidating too (eg in dining area).

Came down for a family wedding taking place not far from the lodge Everything was spot on jay was very welcoming and understanding with me checking in late as the wedding started at 2 so I had to sneak out to check in Bed was really comfy I slept like a log room was very clean and tidy and everything needed for me myself and I to stay the night I can’t comment on the breakfast as unfortunately I wasn’t up in time to try it it was a big wedding and with drinks flowing and a hazy head I opted to stay in the comfy bed Great value for money I’d defo stay again if I came back down from Blackpool to see family again

Nothing I didn’t like but next time I’ll make the breakfast and I’ll go for an en-suite room too

Typical guest house. I missed it driving along Oatlands Drive( lot of traffic) Not sure how! Stands out as photo. I went to annex by some shops with car park around back which was lucky as correct booking reception. The guest house is split either side of road. Photo is not reception . Up stairs to my room. Big enough for single room. Bed , table and wardrobe plus on suite. Breakfast was across road .Pelican crossing ,so no problem crossing road. Good cooked breakfast plus help yourself coffee/tea , cereal and toast.
