Everything was very good, the guy(sorry didn't get your name)who welcomed me was very good and friendly. The room was well equipped. It has a handy convenience store next door. Didn't manage to have breakfast as my plans changed and I had to leave earlier than I was booked in for at short notice, but the price is excellent, as breakfast is included.

The room I stayed in was a little bit cold for me(I'm fairly cold-blooded), it would be handy to have some sort of separate heater as there's only central heating). The room was over the entrance to the car park which may have something to do with it. It probably wouldn't affect the majority of people.

Location was right next to shop. Comfy beds and nice rooms Breakfast was poor tho which was disappointing as other thing else was good for what we paided. Sorry amount of food sausage was 2 little party size sausage one small bacon a egg and very little else. Food was cold and dry unfortunately. The premises was clean and tidy and welcoming staff.

Breakfast was absolutely awful and staff don't give you time to finish food before trying to clear plates. Breakfast was served until 9 only.. would have thought would be atleast until 10 as it was a rush after a busy day before hand.

The rooms are decent, nothing posh but certainly has everything you need with a TV and tea/coffee facilities. The nicer aspect was the whole establishment is CLEAN! The beds and pillows are nice and comfortable, and the ladies do a mean scrambled egg and bacon for breakfast! There is also a convenience store next door, which is..... convenient should you have forgotten something, or need snacks etc. Overall, I would certainly rate AJ LODGE, and will use again when travelling for work.

It's a shame there isn't a mini fridge in the room, as I was staying for several nights, so keeping cold drinks would be nice, but that's being picky given the room price.

Everything was excellent.10 out of 10 for me in every aspect. Jay the manager was amazing.He is a very nice person the way he dealt the problem I had with my payment to him. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone staying in Slough. The breakfast was excellent and the Lady who was doing it was very good and nothing was to much trouble for her. The car park there was well protected by cameras With plenty of room for quite a few cars. There is also a shop next door which was very convenient for me. But just to recap everything was excellent.

Rooms are religiously kept very clean daily by staff. Located just outside the LONDON ULEZ area, so perfectly suited my.needs. The cooked part of the breakfasts were served quickly, and everything tasted great. Having a security guy/ night receptionist employed to keep an eye on things was reassuring and great for a late check-in. Safe, free & secure parking a big bonus for me.

When i first arrived, the room was a little cold, especially the bathroom, when I checked in, although it was quite late in the evening, and pretty cold outside. The bathroom radiator in my room didn't work for the first day, as it needed "bleeding." However, the night receptionist guy was very helpful and lent me a heater and did fix the bathroom heater the following day, so all was good there.. The only other minor issue was with the breakfast dining room being in a totally different building across the road, so if it had been snowing, raining, or other bad weather, that could have been an issue. Luckily, there wasn't.

Booked this only a few hours before. The staff were very accommodating as I was arriving at 9.30 (latest check in is 8pm). Great value £48 which included free parking, full English breakfast and private bathroom. Would recommend as a basic value for money, clean hotel. Ample parking too with a convinced shop next door.

The room is basic but clean and exactly what i needed, although it didn't have a hair dryer. There was hand wash in the shower, but overall, this is very minor! Be aware that the hotel is split across two sides of a road, so I stayed on one side and needed to cross the road for breakfast. It's not an inconvenience but something to be aware of!

Breakfast was delicious. Had everything, great English Breakfast, option of succulent veggie sausage, cooked beautifully. Choice of cereals, pastries, toast, jams, juice, fruit, yoghurt, various teas, coffees high quality and hot chocolate. Very impressed. The area is tough at night, but the owners go to great lengths to protect their business, guests feel safe, even my 15 year old daughter, who can get nervous. My car was secure and cameras were everywhere. We had an en suite and it was very quiet.

Lovely comfy warm room can't fault the hotel at all Nice and quite at night time Everything was very clean and up to high standards.

Only fault I have is at breakfast the bread was mouldy and could clearly see the bread was green but the bread was placed upside down, so I never noticed until I put it in the toaster I did tell them it wasn't safe to eat but it was left for other guests to eat which they did. We'd definitely come again just not with the breakfast option

AJ Lodge was perfectly situated for my trip whilst working at two local hospitals. Wonderful welcome by Jay, good private parking (it is a little tight but i have a large van) The entire lodge is spotless clean, with three shared toilets and three shared showers just on my floor. Comfy bed, good working TV and plenty of breakfast options. It is also walking distance from a number of take outs and restaurants. I have no doubt that i will stay here again.. Thank you Jay and the team.

Honestly i have no complaints about this property.. if you really need a negative, the chair in my room wasn't the most comfortable..

It was easy to find, welcoming and excellent value for money. The room was spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable. The room was walk. The TV was easy to operate. Tea and coffee making was well equipped. The building was secure very reassuring as I was travelling alone. The bathroom had both bath and shower and was very clean. There was unlimited hot water and nice towels. There was secure parking on site. The breakfast was freshly cooked and generous. The dining area was welcoming and very clean. Tea and coffee was unlimited. I felt refreshed and well cared for. There is a convenience store next door. Altogether a very pleasant experience
