We didn’t have breakfast as we only booked the room. We were visiting friends & had booked to go out for dinner & breakfast with them! The room was very nice, clean & modern. Staff all very nice. We also got this for a very good price for one night, so v.happy, thank you 😊

The car park & drive a bit rough. I know the weather wasn’t great when we were there (very wet & windy) but had an issue spotting the pot holes due to flooding!!

The building stands out through its structure and functionality, while the staff impresses with their kindness and professionalism. The space is thoughtfully arranged, creating a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. A particularly appreciated aspect is the flexibility offered: bringing in food and drinks from outside is permitted. The generously sized parking area not only provides logistical convenience but also serves as a suitable setting for outdoor gatherings. At its far end, we hosted a small celebration with music and drinks, carried out in a respectful manner, without disturbing others and without being disturbed ourselves.

Prices are a bit high, and we had some problems both days. The door in the room was not working good, and the jacuzzi didn’t work on both days. Also, phone signal was weak, and breakfast starts only after 7:00 AM. But with all good and not so good things together, we still recommend this hotel for short time to relax. We will come back again.

The hotel is beautifully decorated in most areas. It has a boutique feel to it and is stylish and comfortable. The breakfast was well presented with plenty of choice. The staff were welcoming and helpful with any requests made. We booked for a family celebration with afternoon tea and everyone really enjoyed the weekend. With good weather we were able to take advantage of the outdoor seating on the lawn which gave a relaxed option for afternoon drinks. Sara who took responsibility for our party was especially attentive & everything was in place for our celebration. All rooms were nicely furnished & comfortable and the pool area was clean & a nice addition to the weekends activities especially for the kids.

There was nothing I found to dislike about this hotel.

Room and hotel were really nice. The dinner and the breakfast were both delicious.

The staff perhaps need some extra training. Some examples of slightly odd service: - When I made the booking, I was booking for a family of two adults and two young children. I booked the junior suite as it has two rooms and had a big floor space. I was then told on the phone that it was not suitable for a family, and then I needed to go to a single room. After some convincing, they allowed us to go to a larger room. - After dinner, they said they would put the bill 'on the room' - fairly standard. But then I received a phone call at 9pm (waking up two children), requiring that i come down to the lobby that night to pay for the dinner.

We absolutely loved our stay! The staff were so welcoming and friendly they went above and beyond to make our stay special. The hotels interior is stunning and there's lovely bar rooms and outdoor areas to sit. The afternoon tea room is gorgeous and so is the restaurant. The room was the nicest room I've ever stayed in with a beautiful bath and gorgeous decor. We both had a spa treatment and the lady doing them was sooo sweet and professional and just amazing at her job I wish I knew her name!! The spa is spotlessly clean everywhere is. Beautiful changing rooms a lovely pool steam room and sauna. Our room was so beautiful and the hotel so fab we went out for a quick dinner and spent all our time at the hotel. Lovely ginger shots and chocolates on your way in! Thank you to your wonderful staff we can't wait to come back!

Breakfast was lovely and there was no problems we just found it slightly basic and would've liked it to be a bit different with more variety! But still great quality and display ect was lovely!

Most staff members were helpful. But a few weren’t they need to work on their customer skills.

We didn’t have any heating in our room & the towel rail didn’t heat up in the toilet. My husband is a cancer patient so he needs heat. We had our little dog with us & where charged £35 per night ( which is the most we have ever paid for the dog) normally in some hotels supply dog beds & bowls treats etc. We had to bring our own things for the dog. We also had friends stay & the hotel at the same time as us . Funny they had the same problem in their room too. The head receptionist showed us the other rooms they have which were much better than ours.

The hotel is in beautiful surroundings, the staff were excellent, and we each had a treatment that was excellent!

There was a wedding in the hotel that night that we weren't warned about in advance of arriving. We were advised upon checking by Ali, who was wonderful throughout our stay, in that if the music got too loud that we could change room. This ended up happening at about 10pm that night, and we got upgraded to an absolutely silent room. While the situation wasn't ideal, the staff handled it superbly.

We were married at Burnham Beeches in November 2004 and went back for (the first time) for our 20th wedding anniversary. Boy has it changed! We arrived just as they were finishing their recent refurb. The layout it pretty much the same but the decor is incredible. It's been done so tastefully and in keeping with the age of the building. It is so cosy and comfortable in every room. You find yourself gazing around at all the little touches which have clearly been thought out, the attention to detail is spot on. Well done Burnham Beeches on your refub, it is something to be very proud of! STAFF: Although you can check in using the automated system, there is someone on had to warmly greet you. The staff are very welcoming and genuinely seem to enjoy working there. They are professional, attentive and kind. ROOM: Stunning. We stayed in a Superior Georgian Room which was beautiful. Like the rest of the hotel, beautifully decorated. The bed was super comfortable and you could have heard a pin drop overnight. We didn't even hear other guests come and go in the morning. It was spotlessly clean and well equipped (I like you have your own ironing board). It was a nice size and the bathroom was stunning with a great shower. BAR AND DINING: The bar is just lovely to sit and relax in. My only niggle would be the 'faux' firelace. It screams out for a real fire, but hey ho. We didn't have breakfast (we simply don't do breakfast) but we did have dinner which was delicious. Again, the dining room is another amazing space and the service was excellent. SPA: Hmm. There is one. It is very bijou and wasn't part of the refub. Perhaps it is 'on the list'. Burnham Beeches doesn't advertise itself as a spa hotel and rightly so. It's nice to have the option of a quick swim in the little pool and spend a little time in the jacuzzi and sauna though. AMBIENCE: Overall, despite being a fairly big hotel, it felt very intimate and relaxed.

Nothing really. Just wish there was a real fireplace in the bar, our room had had a view of the stunning grounds and the spa was updated/extended. Other than that, the hotel is flawless.

Breakfast and breakfast room…..amazing!!!!! Decor inthe whole hotel was DIVINE!!!!

Jacuzzi needed a step into it, as it was hard getting in and out of it. Jacuzzi a little dated, although recently refurbished. Should easily fit an open shower in the corner near jacuzzi and sauna, in order to be able to shower down before getting into pool from the sauna or steam room into the pool. Otherwise you can’t wash off sweat. If you know what I mean. In the corner near the jacuzzi is a perfect spot for a cool down shower!!!! Would then be PERFECT!!!!

Staff were super friendly and very helpful. Making the stay so peaceful and enjoyable.

Hot Tub for me was the only down size to this property and I say this as I look for hotels with hot tubs. Forgetting that this one was small it was not easy to get in but even worse it switches itself off after 5 minutes and you then have to get out of the hot tub to switch it back on which is terrible when you are trying to relax the last thing you need is to keep getting out to switch it back on for a further 5 minutes.
