We loved this hotel! The room was well appointed and comfortable - the bed and pillows were just divine. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and set us up for the day. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. Parking is available within the hotel grounds which is great. The hotel is so well positioned for both Eton and Windsor. There are lots of fantastic restaurants, and what we like to call 'Old Men Pubs' (Real Ale pubs!) so close by - steeped in history and so cozy and welcoming. The Castle is about a ten minute walk away from the hotel, so wonderful to visit and we went to Evensong at St George's Chapel - such a fantastic experience.

The weather!

Absolutely loved this hotel, location was fab & all staff extremely helpful. The best bit for me was access to the large field at the rear of the hotel, I had my 2 dogs with me so this was brilliant I loved the pet accessible rooms on the courtyard & my own parking spot so no need to worry about parking on my return from our outings The bar area allowed dogs which was another massive bonus point for me.

I would of loved abit of aircon.. we were there in June 2025 and the temp was in the 30's A fan was provided but to be fair it just blew hot air around. We sat in the evenings with the door open

The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable (and nicely large). The location of the hotel is brilliant - on the High Street in Eton, which is lovely in itself, and only a few minutes walk to the bridge across into Windsor, close to the castle. The breakfast was delicious - very fresh, poached eggs cooked to perfection, lovely pastries, classy yoghurts and much more! I was particularly impressed by the fact that I was given a sharper knife (a steak knife type) to cut my avocado on sourdough - I have found all too often in restaurants that ordinary knives can make little headway with this - which was a very thoughtful touch. The bar was comfortable and welcoming. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The whole experience was just delightful!

I liked absolutely everything!

What a nice little surprise the Christopher Hotel was! We booked our stay on a bit of a whim rather than spend two extra (and expensive) nights in London. The location was perfect, set between Windsor Castle and Eton, much closer to the college, and therefore away from the masses of tourists unloading at Windsor, but an easy walk to both. The property itself is arranged something like an old coaching inn, with the reception area in a quiet little pub at the front, and the rooms beyond an archway and arranged away from the road. We didn't need parking, but there was plenty, and each spot was reserved for the assigned guest. Breakfast was everything you could want and more. Continental, full cooked, porridge, whatever you wanted, they had it, and the warm staff was happy to oblige. And at the end of our stay, we were just a short Uber ride away from Heathrow. No schlepping our bags on tube and trains, or sitting in London traffic to get to the airport. We really couldn't have hit more of a jackpot with The Christopher Hotel.

The hotel’s location is fantastic - on Eton High Street and just a short walk across the river into Windsor. The rooms were perfect for what we needed for a 1 night stay with friends, comfortable and with a good en-suite shower. Staff were excellent, all were friendly and helpful and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. It was also great and very helpful that we were able to book 4 parking spaces in advance. Finally, the breakfast was really good, with plenty of choice. As a group of 4 couples this was an excellent choice of hotel for us and we have all said that we would happily return in future.

Not applicable. We were a group of 4 couples travelling from different parts of the country for a reunion and this was an ideal location and a great hotel for our stay (albeit only for one night!).

We were able to park very nearby to our room which was helpful. The welcome drink was a nice surprise as well, and the suggestion to eat at the Italian across the road was ideal. As this was very much a last minute booking we were pleasantly surprised at the hotel overall. The breakfast was very good with a lot of choice and the serving staff were very attentive and 'on the ball'. The location was excellent being just across the bridge from Windsor Castle, which we visited the next day.

A little more space in the room - but it did say it was a 'cosy' room and for one night it wasn't a problem.

We were very pleased to find that we had been given a complimentary room upgrade for our overnight stay last week. Much appreciated. Room 9 is up two flights of (quite steep) stairs which might be a problem for some, but it is well appointed, nicely decorated, properly cleaned, and the bed is very comfortable. Staff were all friendly, courteous and efficient. Recommended.

I wouldn't change anything. Access to the car park is through a narrow archway, so any visitors driving 'Chelsea Tractors' will have to take care! Cars up to the size of Volvo XC40/60s are fine. Big Range Rovers will probably struggle.

Fantastic place!...believe the reviews!! Welcoming, warm and friendly staff and unbelievably accommodating, what a wonderful team they have there! Perfect location for Eton and Windsor, I wouldn't stay anywhere else now I've found this hotel. Room was spotlessly clean, crispy cotton sheets pillows, squidgy pillows that we loved, beautifully decorated....breakfast was wonderful and nothing was too much trouble.....the list of what we liked is long, so you get the gist! Thank you Graham, Sarah and Sean/Shaun for making us feel so at home, your conversation and fun!...your kindness and generosity is unparalleled in my experience, so thank you so much and we will definitely see you again soon! Leaving!

The room was lovely it looked like it had been recently refurbished, spacious the bathroom was brand new and had the most amazing shower just what was needed after boating from Henley. The staff were great and the free drink on arrival a nice surprise. Bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was very good and lots of choice.

Not a dislike just the air conditioning system had obviously be replaced with ceiling fans which are obviously not as affective at night and can be a little irritating and we had to sleep with the windows open and through no fault of the hotel its quite a noisy road very early - but this would definitely not prevent me from returning.

I actually booked here by mistake. I thought I’d booked my usual hotel The sir Christopher wren as I’m a regular staying in Windsor. I can honestly say what a lovely mistake lol. Staff very friendly and caring staff at breakfast as I wasn’t feeling too well. They really looked after me. The most comfortable bed and pillows ever! Was able to have the window open all night which was lovely as you don’t normally get that option. They normally only open a small amount. The lady at the hotel also put a fan in our room as it was so hot that day. Breakfast was super but as I said I wasn’t feeling great so didn’t benefit from that side of things much but it was all cooked for you what ever you wanted. Complimentary drinks on arrival which we had later in the bar that evening. I haven’t got one complaint 😊
