We loved this hotel! The room was well appointed and comfortable - the bed and pillows were just divine. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and set us up for the day. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. Parking is available within the hotel grounds which is great. The hotel is so well positioned for both Eton and Windsor. There are lots of fantastic restaurants, and what we like to call 'Old Men Pubs' (Real Ale pubs!) so close by - steeped in history and so cozy and welcoming. The Castle is about a ten minute walk away from the hotel, so wonderful to visit and we went to Evensong at St George's Chapel - such a fantastic experience.

The weather!

The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable (and nicely large). The location of the hotel is brilliant - on the High Street in Eton, which is lovely in itself, and only a few minutes walk to the bridge across into Windsor, close to the castle. The breakfast was delicious - very fresh, poached eggs cooked to perfection, lovely pastries, classy yoghurts and much more! I was particularly impressed by the fact that I was given a sharper knife (a steak knife type) to cut my avocado on sourdough - I have found all too often in restaurants that ordinary knives can make little headway with this - which was a very thoughtful touch. The bar was comfortable and welcoming. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The whole experience was just delightful!

I liked absolutely everything!

We went for our wedding anniversary and were given a room upgrade, which was lovely. We were also left a box of chocolates as a treat. Just that alone got us off to a lovely start. The room was great. The bathroom had a rain shower head, which felt amazing to stand under. The bed felt like two large single beds (or two small doubles) pushed together, but it was still very comfortable, and we slept very well both nights. A fan is supplied in the room, and it was very much needed! The hotel is ideally located, only a short walk the Thames and a small bridge going over into Windsor, where you are greeted by Windsor Castle. The breakfast on both mornings was delicious. Hot and freshly prepared.

Excellent location 10 minute walk to Windsor Castle. Room in a terrace of rooms. Ground floor great layout and a perfect bathroom. Bed very comfortable with an iron, board, hair dryer and fan available. Room 15 is fully accessible and closed to breakfast room and bar. On arrival we were presented with a voucher for a free drink at the bar, a very nice touch. Excellent to have car parked outside your room, great for unloading. Considering the cost to park in Windsor (£6 for first hour) it was more than worth the cost. Staff more than happy to answer questions and point you to places of interest or where to to eat. Breakfast was very good, with an excellent choice to suit all tastes. Staff were excellent, friendly and helpful and served with a meal smile.

Nothing put me off, will book again, if travelling to Windsor again and will happy to recommend to friends and family.

We had a great one night stay at the Christopher Hotel. It's in a perfect location - only 10 minutes walk from Windsor Castle yet away from the crowded streets of Windsor. We reserved a parking space in advance by phone and were pleased to see our name marked above a space on our arrival. We arrived a couple of hours before official check in but were able to relax in the bar and the lady on reception made us a pot of tea until our room was ready. Our room was large and comfortable and we slept well. The full English breakfast was excellent. It was refreshing to stay at a hotel where the staff were so friendly and helpful throughout our short stay, what a well-run hotel.

Our room was slightly warm & stuffy in May so we opened the windows to cool it down, but I wonder how warm they might get on hotter summer nights.

The hotel is in a perfect location provided parking for a small fee. Check in was easy and a member of staff there to great us. Lovely bar and they were kind enough to offer a free drink in arrival and a discount for further drinks purchased. Rooms, were very suitable for our short stay, clean, fresh, lovely white bedding and bathroom towels, and The White Company lovely products. Breakfast, the staff were extremely accommodating to our requests at breakfast and it was gorgeous. Staff could be better, professional, friendly and very helpful. Where do I start? The hotel is perfectly located about 5 minute walk into Windsor town centre and was easy to find by car. We pre-booked a parking space in their car park and had no trouble parking up. We were greeted on arrival by a lovely receptionist and were checked in very quickly and given a voucher for a complimentary drink at the bar which we happily cashed in later. We stayed in Room 4 which is in the main older part of the hotel. This room had clearly been recently refurbished to a very high standard, was spotlessly clean and featured a huge very comfy bed, large TV, ceiling fan and a huge bathroom with a fantastic electric power shower and free standing bath. Tea and coffee making facilities were provided along with biscuits and a selection of teas and coffees. The hotel is accessible 24/7 via key a card. We didn't hear any noise at all outside all night despite it being a Saturday night and could not fault a thing about our stay. A very high standard breakfast was provided in the morning to round off one of the nicest hotel breaks we have had in a long time. Very highly recommended.

Literally couldn't fault it.

Nice looking hotel/motel a short walk from the pedestrian bridge over the Thames into the centre of Windsor. The room was good and had quality coffee bags and tea. The shower was spacious with a good flow of water. The bed was comfortable but too warm. The Internet was around 50Mbps. . There's a pleasant bar. The included cooked breakfast was excellent, one of the best I've had. The black pudding was the best I've had. I should have asked where they get it from.

There was no fridge in the room. Continuous aircraft noise was annoying. Car access requires care. Internet dropped for 15 minutes. The bed was too warm.

This was our first stop after we landed - and what I always want most is a shower. This place had, without a doubt, one of the best hotel showers I have ever experienced. It was rejuvenating! Staff friendly and kind, and the hotel was really peaceful. The breakfast was really delicious, too! Definitely worth the price. We’d stay again

It was unexpectedly warm when we visited. Our room was on the second floor and it felt a little stuffy. We opened the window and doors and that helped a lot. I didn’t think to ask for a fan before bed (I’ll blame jet lag addling) either.

Fabulous hotel, super clean rooms, great breakfast and attentive staff, with parking and located a stones throw from Windsor Castle (the hotel without doubt should be rated as 4 star Plus) I would have rated 10 out of 10.

Hotel as I say was fabulous. Only issue for us that we wasn’t aware that the 50th birthday party that was happening on the Saturday evening would have basically closed the bar and lovely bar cosy sitting area. We were asked if we wanted to have our drinks and sit in the reception (we specifically chose the hotel knowing the weather this weekend wasn’t great, and that we had the bar and lovely seating area, however that wasn’t to be, and we had go elsewhere missing out on what was offered) (staff were great, I believe it may have caught them all off guard, and that they didn’t realise the bar area would have become basically closed to the residents that evening)
