Room and hotel were lovely and our room was very big. We had our 3 month old daughter with us and so had to bring a lot of stuff and we still had lots of room. The gardens are beautiful. But the best thing for us was the staff, they were so friendly and accommodated everything we needed and more. So friendly and I would to visit again mainly for this reason, they made us so comfortable. The Chef is incredibly talented and I would highly recommend the ten tables restaurant, the food is fantastic and he is such a nice guy. I want to thank the staff for their hospitality and all their help with our baby. Really hope I get to come back soon! Thanks againm
Nothing I can say that we didn't like.

Lovely little spot, extremely helpful and welcoming staff. Honesty bar downstairs is a nice touch, just note down room number and what you took and they will bill you after. Didn't manage to try the food but looked nice. The restaurant area looked cosy, minimal seating but overlooks a beautiful koy pond in the back (perfect little date night spot).
*Extremely minor reasons: Awkward spot and pull in on a busy-ish road, directly into a little car park. Not necessarily a bad thing, but very very quiet if you're coming back late feels like sneaking in when your past curfew.

Lovely welcome on arrival and offered a choice of rooms, showed around the bar and restaurant too. We chose the room at the back overlooking the beautiful gardens. Huge bed and 2 comfy easy chairs. Good size shower and somewhere to pop your bathroom things. Lack of bathroom storage is my pet hate! All staff were helpful and friendly.
Duvet was not big enough for the superking size bed. Mould around the window frame, I appreciate that is hard to deal with though. Parking is not really adequate, we have a long car and parked across the road one day as that was just easier.

I had a comfortable, well appointed room. Excellent bathroom with walk-in shower. Pleasant view of the garden. The hotel was nicely decorated and very comfortable. The staff were very attentive and welcoming. Handy location off a well-used road. Good parking on site. the hotel garden is a treat! It is beautifully laid out and dramatically lit at night. My room was at the back and was very quiet. My evening meal was delicious. The cooking is to a high standard. Breakfasts are substantial and tasty.
Nothing!

the bed was extremely comfy and was actually too big for me and my partner, surprisingly we only took up half of the room but plenty of space to move and get comfortable. the view was gorgeous we were looking onto the pond and could see the koi from our window sadly we weren't able to get out to the garden though but i think that was just bad timing on our half when the doors where looked in the morning.
there wasn't anything I could complain about with the actual stay other that having to walk through the communal bar area, and it is definitely a cheaper choice to bring your own car if you are thinking of leaving the hotel a lot as me and my partner went our quite a lot in the 2 days we were there and racked up quite a bill on Ubers sadly.

Being on the road for work, I often have to stay at various hotels and sometimes i'm dissapointed but it is what it is....but this was amazing. I had a really fantastic stay here. Unfortunately it was only for 1 night. The whole experience was great. From the staff, my room and the food. I had the best roast dinner that I've had in years and then enjoyed a beer in the beautiful gardens. I'm looking forward to my next visit. (I never leave reviews either) Thank you all

everything was good. The staff were attentive and friendly the room is clean. The dinners were very good. Apart from not being provided on a Sunday and a Monday evening. But I understand that this is about to change.
The small double was a mistake for me because I needed to work whilst at the hotel. And that room has no useful surfaces. I had to use the dining room for most of the day and on the last day I moved into a superior double which was better.

Nice area, lovely building and communal areas. Breakfast was nice with lots of variation. Bed comfy and shower was lovely.
A couple of little small problems with the room, one of the shower heads was leaking, one of the bulbs in the bedside lamps wasn’t working. The sockets weren’t very accessible. Heating in mind I requested a room with easy access to the bathroom there wasn’t a lot of room for drying. The price paid was I believe a little steep for what we got.

Our room had everything we needed in it and was very comfortable and clean. The bathroom was lovely and warm and we liked the modern shower. Breakfast was superb with plenty of choice and we had a very good full english breakfast which was very good. We didn't use the lounge room but thought the honesty system for drinks was a great idea and there was plenty of choice of drinks to have. We really liked the feel of the hotel and the decor and extra finishing touches. The restaurant area is lovely with a nice view of the lovely garden.
There was alot of slamming of doors at night and loud conversation. Although the hotel didn't appear to be full the rooms allocated seemed to all be together in our corner. Check out wasn't until 11am but a lady let herself into our room while we were packing to leave. This was about 10am and she didn't knock just opened the door.
