I was given a room upgrade and complimentary chocolate brownie gift on arrival which was appreciated. The room was well appointed, clean and comfortable with Molton Brown toiletries, complimentary water, tea making facilities and biscuits. The breakfast buffet was good with a range of options on offer. The staff were very welcoming and helpful.

We love staying here, this was my 4th time as we visit our daughter frequently who is a student. This time we had a free upgrade too. We also brought with us a home made birthday cake for my daughter which needed to stay chilled. Both Scarlet and Ashish are exceptional members of staff, they took care of us and the cake too, nothing is too much trouble, they go over and beyond to make our stay so welcoming. We’re booked to return in July and bringing our elderly parents too for a weekend treat!

I booked parking - and that went pretty smoothly. The room was pretty (nice wallpaper) and had everything I needed - including very nice water flow in the shower. I appreciated the extra touches in the room i.e. a welcome note I ate 2 dinners and 2 breakfasts in the hotel - the food was delicious and the staff always friendly and pleasant. The warm chocolate brownie on check-in was a delicous!

There was nothing I didn't like - the staff here seemed to go the extra mile.

Breakfast was lovely and areas were cleared and cleaned quickly. All staff were very polite and nothing too much trouble. The same when we checked out thank you Scarlet

Not really an issue just personal preference I thought the Bathroom was very small. It was totally functional and ok for a few days.

I booked 2 nights, double medium. When I arrived I had been upgraded to an executive. The room was spacious, air con if needed (I run hot) and being winter, plenty heating. My partner came to meet me for lunch. We had this at the hotel. Kenny at the bar was wonderful, personable and exceptional customer service. We sat in the restaurant part and fatima set a table for us as I think we might have been early. She was professional with a friendly nature. She went out of her way to make us feel comfortable, even with the heater out on the porch. Guest relations couldn't have been more helpful. A credit to the hotel. Cleanliness top notch throughout the hotel and rooms. I work in the industry, and I can honestly say I'm impressed. Well done to all. I'm be back again.

Beautiful hotel with excellent caring and communicative staff. Excellent staff at breakfast, offering poached eggs, fried eggs or omelettes ( Fatema and Sasha) Good pre booked parking( but pricey!) Location for Guildford is excellent. Large quiet rooms. Huge breakfast choice Stylish and unique! Very clean The FishTank kept our grandaughter amused !

It is expensive but you get what you pay for! The A/C not very effective and switches off once temperature achieved. We did have a fan also. One of our two Executive rooms had a wardrobe that was extremely shallow, 12 inches approx! Neither room had any drawers at all. Unable to unpack. The garden view from our room was disappointing as half of it is quite scruffy and no colour, plants, shrubs etc.

This hotel was exceprional. The rooms are in coach houses set aside from the main building so they are so quiet. They upgraded me on arrival which was a lovely surprise & the double room was very clean and homely. Lovely shower and bathroom. Iron, hairdryer, fan all in room and desk for working. The breakfast was excellent - lots of choice. The staff were really friendly especially the bar staff & the Christmas decorations are lovely.

The coffee machine at breakfast was not so good- not a lot of choice- just strength of beans. I like a cappucino. The food was all excellent. Elderly people could struggle with luggage in the higher level rooms as you have only stairs to access.

The hotel is lovely, beautifully decorated, the receptionist very professional. In fact all the staff were helpful and attentive, the room was spotless and clean and had everything you could need and more, the refreshments in particular are a nice touch! The breakfast was fresh, plentiful and tasty, every dietary requirement catered for. The breakfast room was airy, clean and comfortable. And a final mention that the bar staff were also really friendly!

Unfortunately we had very noisy neighbours who came back in the early hours clearly drunk and very loud, lots of banging, arguing and swearing loudly! It did demonstrate how thin the walls were, they could have been in the same room, you could literally hear every word they were saying including the expletives! If we need to come to Guildford we wouldn't hesitate to stay at this hotel again but we would perhaps insist on a different room.

Great stay for a family! Me, hubby and our 2 year old spent two nights here recently in the family room located on the ground floor. The room was spacious, even having a double and single bed. Comfy beds, good TV channel selection, great tea,coffee tray options and excellent shower...loved the molton brown products! WIFI always worked well, no drop offs. Breakfast was the best hotel we have ever had, really impressive. The staff were so polite and friendly towards us, even after our 2 year old covered the floor in cereal one morning! :( The hotel is close to everything, we walked through the town centre from the train station, which took about 20mins. There is a lovely park nearby which has lots for families, playground, splash-park, gardens etc. We really enjoyed our short break here and would highly recommend.

There's just one thing that lets this hotel down and it's there rear garden space, it could be great with a little TLC! Tables, maybe a small play area for young ones etc.

Parking immediately outside hotel(cost £15). Very welcoming receptionist. Beautifully decorated and well maintained. Comfortable bar. Within walking distance of the town.

Didn’t have breakfast due to cost of £17 each which I felt was excessive (particularly for the amount I would eat at that time of day). Went out in town and had good breakfast for £12 less for the 2 of us than it would have cost at the hotel..
