The room, reception staff, views of the grounds and location itself were lovely. On arrival, we were presented with a delicious treat and little goody bag for the kids which absolutely set our stay off to a great start. Would definitely recommend.

Person on the bar was rude and lacked a sense of customer service. I asked for two drinks of the same and he produced one, saying, I've only got one. When I asked if he could possibly check for another bottle, he sighed as though it was a huge chore, walked off without saying a word, producing another bottle. I tried to lighten the mood by saying "hmm seems likes you've a long day ey?" he scoffed and said "no, it's been alright actually". So abosultey no reason for the impatience and misery he displayed then!?

Really nice staff - all very pleasant and helpful. Public areas are well laid out and comfortable. Room was good, clean and the bed was comfortable. I had two very enjoyable meals in the bar on both the evenings I was staying. Prompt friendly service and good food.

I thought the breakfast was mediocre. Plenty of choice - I had fried eggs and bacon with toast for breakfast. The bacon was very tough and the eggs had formed a coating so were chewy and hard. I guess this is the risk with mass catering and open buffet. The next day I decided not to bother with breakfast in the hotel and I picked up a costa coffee en route to the office as this was preferable. Please note however I didn't try the other food and that might have been better. The hotel is large and it was quite a walk to my room whilst dragging a suitcase, and two work bags. Assistance would have been helpful.

The staff were amazing. Really good customer service, from checking in and dealing with reception, to the gym staff and the staff in the restaurant/bar area were so helpful and friendly. The cleaning was done swiftly and well. I liked the ability to use the pool and facilities with no extra cost, also the fact the pool was split for family fun and also lane swimming. The very good gym facility and also the towels available for use in the pool.

There was a damp feeling in our room. The carpet felt damp..

The room was very comfortable and bathroom lovely. I had asked when booking to have a room near the lift but was given Room 137 which is quite a walk to Omnia and Reception area. But my husband had unpacked whilst l was sitting in reception area and I couldn't then bear another walk to an alternative room. I have torn ligaments in left knee and cannot put any weight on left leg.

Distance of room from facilities and toilet roll are only negative issued. Toilet paper lets the lovely bathroom as it's cheap quality.

Clean room and bedding. Helpful staff overall pleased and would book again. We both take medication so the bottle of water each was more than welcome especially replaced following day.

Bed was hard and uncomfortable. Neither of us slept well. We have super king bed at home with pillow top, the bed was actually so hard my thigh felt bruised. After walking to our room on second evening to sleep our room cards would not work. All the way back to reception to get it sorted.

Location was perfect for our family stay. The hotel is tucked well back from the road in some quite stunning grounds. Parking was excellent. The reception staff were very welcoming and were clearly happy to meet our pet.

For me personally - I was under the impression that with a pet friendly room, it was possible to go out into the grounds directly from the room! This was not the case as we had to walk her through the corridors to get access. Maybe my mis-understanding but perhaps make this clearer? Some pets, when they need to go out, it's fairly urgent? Although, as it turned out - was no problem for us.

A fab hotel. Loved the swimming pool etc..... lovely room with a really comfortable bed. Would definitely stay again ☺️👍

The only fault we had was the price of the drinks! I brought a pint of Guinness and a large New Zealand white wine and was charged £22 this is extortionate! We ask the lady behind the bar for a breakdown and it was £14 for the wine & £8 for the Guinness I really cannot justify these prices. Myself and my partner usually like going down to the bar for a few drinks when we stay in hotels. But I'm afraid when we visit again we will not be using the bar

I absolutely loved the mattress. I haven't had a good night's sleep in 2 years. I suffer from rheumatoid arthritis and Fybromialgia alongside other medical conditions. The kids really enjoyed their stay and all the staff were extremely helpful and very friendly.

I was a bit disappointed with the breakfast. The kids didn't enjoy the vegan sausages. The glasses in the bedroom were dirty. There is no fridge in the room. I took sandwich mix to make sandwiches for the following day to take to legoland for the kids. When I contacted reception, they said yes, they do have a fridge. When I got to the room, they didn't have a fridge, and all my sandwich mix went off.

We stayed one night and used the swimming pool - clean facilities / friendly staff. We also used the restaurant - this was friendly staff and lovely food - my daughter loved her chicken nuggets.

We had a junior suite and there was no bedding for the sofa bed, my son was sleeping on the sofa bed with my twin girls in the other bed. We had to call a couple of times to get the bedding, this took the shine off the stay a little as housekeeping had possibly not looked at the number of guests staying and realised that extra bedding was required.
