Great place, clean, affordable and with helpful staff. Would book again without hesitation.

The room and the main man who was there on arrival allowing us to check in before the actual time was an absolute gentleman. So caring and considerate. He has a sense of true compassion and gave my 3 children chocolates after we had checked out. Room was absolutely fabulous and close to so many places. We had a fabulous stay.

We enjoyed the friendly welcoming reception, attention to detail. Having a fridge, access to a well stocked kitchen and being able to use the washing machine and tumble dryer certainly made our stay that bit easier.

We can’t think of any negative issues.

Everything was great. Staff helpful and friendly. The easy access code for the front door was sent in advance. The freedom to use the communal kitchen was ideal for us. Every item you needed was clean and tidy. Breakfast was complimentary. Help yourself. We had a spacious bedroom with good size tv. There was plenty of tea & coffee with biscuits. And bottled water.

The mattress was a little warn, not as ferm as we would have liked. (personal choice)

Very good value for money. There was private parking. The bedroom was quite large with a fridge in the room. The ensuite was also quite a good size and the shower worked fine. Towels and toiletries were provided. A large communal kitchen had an oven, hob, fridge and freezer and 2 dining tables. Breakfast was provided on a help yourself basis ‐ [Bread, croissants, pain au chocolate, yoghurt, apple juice, fruit, cereals, butter and jam etc ]

Slightly noisy quite early as by a busy road but would happily stay again. It was worse as tree felling was being done on the roadside this particular morning. This is not a luxury hotel but I thought it offered excellent value for money.

Accommodation was clean and functional everything you could need even had a fridge in my room, great kitchen facilities if you want to fix up a snack and the location is really handy. There's a Asda local only a few minutes walk away and so is the riverbank for a nice morning river stroll, really enjoyed my stay great value for money, thank you.

Only a small thing but the TV has no free to air TV channels , only Netflix and YouTube channels available so bring your own Media stick if you want more options than that. There is strong free WiFi.

My wife, myself and a friend were cycling Route 4 from Bristol to London and this was such a convenient stop along the way. The property was well signposted and check-in was easy (we were provided with a code). There was a bathroom exclusively for the use of just our friend and ourselves to share, and then we each had our own separate toilet and basin cubicle in our rooms. The kitchen was so well equipped and there was a lovely choice of food for us to make breakfast. There was a big Waitrose within walking distance for supper provisions. The rooms aren't modern, but were comfortable and more than adequate for our needs. And all this for a very reasonable price too!

Supprisingly good choice for "do it yourself" breakfast! We were late arriving (see below) but staff waited nearly 2 hours to greet us, which was appreciated.

We found it quite difficult to find in the dark using our satnav, but we are quite old! So a couple of sentences on the instructions would have been a great help. e.g. " at traffic lights after Dominos Pizza (on the left) turn left then IMMEDIATELY right onto Ray? St. Wilson Lodge is no xx on the LH side". Would appreciate if more TV channels were available even if was an extra charge.

Wilson Lodge is a huge converted house. It is self access/check in which was very smooth. I had a fob and door access code which allowed me to come and go easily. Breakfast is self serve with a decent variety. They only had instant coffee which was the only disappointing part of the stay. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful.
