gym was surprisingly good for a hotel gym, had quite a range of free weights and wasn't too busy, hotel room was quiet, clean and comfortable, shower was good, breakfast was good, check in and check out was good too

there seemed to be a few times where the check in desk had a very large queue, think that was due to buses arriving full of guests, had tuna in the restaurant on the first night and I think it was mainly from frozen.

Staff unfailingly helpful. Any request dealt with immediately. The food on the bar menu was very good.

Dinner in the dining room expensive and not the quality you would expect for this hotel. We had two friends who booked for one night to meet us for dinner and they were very disappointed. The food sounded good but when a dish comes with say with carrots, you expect more than one tiny carrot! The vegetables were very poor and our first night we ordered the duck which was obviously previously frozen and too tough to eat. The pork loin was also inedible. Since the room was virtually empty a small section with say tablecloths and flowers at night would be an improvement.

Beautiful location. Serene atmosphere. We were given the full force of friendliness by the wonderful Karim…. who made us feel like long-lost family within 30 seconds of greeting us! What an asset…… as a brand ambassador, Crowne Plaza have hit the veritable jackpot with Karim. I challenge anyone not to feel totally welcomed with this gregarious individual on reception. We have decided to return on the strength of his bon homie alone and I sincerely hope that the management of this lovely hotel are both aware and thankful to employ such an asset as he. All the team , irrespective of their position or task, displayed a similar level of interest in our well-being throughout the stay. Impressive. Very well done to all - it’s rare to experience such service in such a large brand. Thank you.

I bought my sister for a belated birthday treat. We recieved such a warm welcome by Karim on arrival which was quite late since coming from work in London. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a lovely stay. THANK YOU KARIM ❤️ The breakfast is really tasty with a wide selection of food. The vegan sausages are probably the best I've tasted anywhere. We didn't have lunch as we were still full. The dinner menu was really delicious. This is second stay at the hotel & I'm already planning when to book another visit 😁

I'd probably book a twin room so I could have the bed all to myself 😅

Breakfast was very good. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

For our evening meal in the restaurant it appears that they were significantly understaffed as any requests took rather too long. Also disappointing that we could not comfortably have a table for nine people to eat together in the bar area. The fact that the swimming pool does allow children under 3 years of age does not appear to have been communicated to guests in the long email sent prior to arrival or anywhere else.

The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful and the staff in the restaurant at breakfast were friendly and pleasant and a credit to the hotel

I didn't like the fact that if I'd booked on the day the room was advertised at nearly 45 pound cheaper, paying £20 for breakfast over and above 140 for a room felt overly expensive considering the cheaper rate on the day. Paying a 75 deposit on arrival which wasn't clearly advertised as a requirement, I was wrongly informed at check in that it would be refunded the next day but on checking out was informed 3-5 working days. Ruined an otherwise pleasant stay

Food apart from breakfast was mediocre quality. The large Indian selection might have been bettter but we did not try it. On our checkout day, our room was cleaned and set up for next guests while we were at breakfast, despite our leaving the no-disturbance tag on the door. This was most annoying, especially as we had our things in the room, and senseless, as we had to use the bathroom before taking our things and checking out.

Very professional polite hotel welcoming on our arrival by Karim. We remembered him from our last weekend away at Crowne Plaza. Provided insight into good local restaurants recommendations and entertainment. Karim explained everything to us so well and directed us to our room perfectly . True asset to Crowne Plaza Marlow. Our room was lovely and very comfortable with lots of space. Handy little fridge also . Black out curtains insured we were able to have a lay in. We spent a few hours each day relaxing in the spa. Just what we needed . The breakfast buffet was amazing , so much choice of food . Fruit, cheeses, meats , cooked food . If we had to be picky, it was that the tv in the room is capped at 20% volume in the evening so it was sometimes difficult to hear. But, we will definitely be coming back again for our third visit .

The coffee machine was slow at the breakfast buffet, this created a fairly long queue of people waiting . But not major problem.

The breakfast while somewhat expensive by our usual breakfast, the choice was excellent. Just because it is more or less 'as much as you can eat' my husband and I are not of that mind and in truth, the quality, choice and service is the more important to us as a couple, celebrating our Golden Wedding Anniversary.

We realise there were a number of things available for our use which we did not use. It may have been helpful and more financially beneficial to us that those items could have been an add on, so not paying for items we could for a number of reasons health etc of no value to us.

The rooms , the decor overall , the view to the lake made up for the location .. although in the middle of an industrial estate I would say don’t be afraid to stay here .. as once in Hotel the location is irrelevant and it’s close to some of the counties best locations , especially Marlow and the Thames ..

Nothing really .. except would have preferred breakfast included cos the industrial estate is not quite what is advertised or expected but once in the hotel , staff , decor , facilities fantastic
