Hotel is modern in a quiet area north of london , directly behind southgate metro (tube) & bus stations. Very good value for money specially in expensive city like london. Check-in & check-out very quick. Metro station is on picadilly line which ends in heathrow airport, but the trip takes 1:40 hour, so calculate your time probably to reach the airport in proper time. Alot of restaurants, cafés and other shops in the nieghbourhood some of them offers halal food. Tea, coffee and biscuits in the room beside the kettle. Bed is comfortable. Smart TV in the room, so you can log on youtube or netflex to watch whatever suits you, plus regular british channels like bbc ... are available with some arabic speaking channels. Size of the room is good 👍 regarding averge room sizebin london .

Far from city center , about 40 minutes to reach picadilly circus station. Although the room is clean, but house keeping team should pay more attention to daily cleaning. No wardrobe in the room, only a Clothes hanger

New fresh hotel with a modern vibe. Friendly staff. In the heart of Southgate where we were visiting a friend. We have tried the chain hotels nearby, and this was much nicer. Our room had a mini fridge plus an actual opening bedroom window, so able to keep cold drinks and non-air conditioned during some very humid days and nights. Bedroom was comfortable with pleasant decor and toiletries. The staff were good to allow my daughter to check in on behalf of me as I had become ill on journey down to London.

There was a lot of dust on bedside tables, and floor was gritty in bathroom. I didn’t complain as I was actually ill the whole time I was there, and didn’t have the energy and didn’t want cleaner in disturbing me. Also, the control panels for lights and communication etc. were quite difficult to see and use for anyone over 50 or with poor tech skills. I ended up switching every light on fully in middle of night when I just needed bedside lamp on. Some written instructions might help!

I was greeted warmly when I checked in and was made to feel welcome and the lady ensured my car registration was recorded immediately so I wouldn't get a penalty charge. She was very friendly and helpful, explained everything and then directed me to my room. The room itself was spacious, very clean and modern and the facilities were excellent in it as well. I ate in the Hotel that night, had the Pepperoni Pizza and 2 drinks and again the food was tasty, served piping hot and the restaurant is comfy and spacious too. I had a good night's sleep and the hotel itself is very quiet and peaceful. Breakfast offered a good choice and although I didn't try the hot breakfast it looked tasty and was popular among other guests. I would definitely stay here again.

Location good, had electric car chargers which is good (needed to recharge) The hotel is quite high technology/very new which was really good but on couple of occasions would have been useful to have been provided with a little signage help to enable facilities. Staff very pleasant and helpful Room excellent clean and modern

Re Signage Ie Car chargers in carpark which were small black boxes on a post (no signage) indeed a number of diesel/petrol cars were parked in these spaces without realising they were electric car charging spots. On connecting the car you had to go into the hotel and pay for the car charging at a specific paypoint (excellent well thought out system but without signage bit confusing - not used this type of approach before) Also on entering the hotel room the keycard system was confusing for a first time user

The building offers great step-free access to every floor and to accessible rooms, which was nice to see. We received a welcome gift consisting of coffee and teabags. Cleaning was done every day and they even refilled the coffee/tea supplies! The smart TV was a good size, well placed and had a lot of functions and information

The hotel was newly opened and there was still some stuff that wasn't figured out. - A/C was permanently on, which led to me and my partner getting sick by the end of the stay. They said it was a system issue, hopefully that will be fixed soon. - The hallways smelled of fresh paint and were not fully finished. - The TV worked well for the most part, but I couldn't connect all my devices to it for casting.

The reception at the hotel was absolutely fantastic - The staff were super helpful and to find out that the hotel was absolutely brand new was a Wonderfull surprise - great parking and everything was spotless !! The manager came up to our room to explain the state of the arts electrical system !! plus we were given a room with a mini kitchen which was fantastic !!

The only complaint and although minor was as the hotel was only open for a few days the full restaurant menu was incomplete but did not bother us at all - when we did finally use the restaurant the curry I ordered was really delicious but the pizza my daughter ordered was more like a dry flat bread with some tomato and cheese (but she enjoyed it) Only non- alcoholic beverages but this did not bother me at all

We had a wonderful stay at Southgate Hotel, it's located close to the Picadilly Line and is surrounded by some great coffee shops and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The price is great in comparison to other hotels in London, and the rooms were comfortable and clean. 24hr pizza service at the lobby is a bonus after late nights out!

We wanted to extend our checkout time by 1hr and they said it would cost £15 which I think was expensive.

Modern, contemporary design, lots of attention to details, like usb charge points and self check in. Good location, right next to the underground station so very easy access to central London. Lots of grocery stores and restaurants on the doorstep. Very friendly staff. Great breakfast selection; toast, cereal, cooked English breakfast, yoghurt, pastries and fruit. Very quiet rooms, with great thermostat for temperature control. Stayed in a king suite so plenty of space and loved the kitchen area; very handy! Would stay again!!

The room was very clean. The bed was large and exceptionally comfortable. Although the room was on the first floor by the road, it was very quiet and curtains gave total blackout. These things considered we had a really peaceful sleep. The hotel is well located very near to the tube station and near plenty of coffee bars, restaurants and bars. Great choice of places to eat at On-site car parking meant the car was parked safely during our stay at the hitel. We would stay at this hotel again when visiting London.

The location is very good. Being such good value for money compared to central London hotel prices, it is very good for those holidaying in London. It is just a hop away from the Southgate underground station of the Piccadilly line - line direct to and from Heathrow and all the main tourist sites. Their breakfast buffet is certainly value for money. The room was well sized and the bed comfortable. The presence of a fridge was certainly a plus. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
