I truly appreciated the staff's effort to meet my requests! As I was traveling for work and did not know the area before. I wanted to be able to eat in my room as soon as I got home storing the food in the fridge and heat up the food in the microwave, that was of tremendous help! The kind staff that worked there, Paul whom I met, was pleasant, friendly and accommodating allowing for a late check out as well and I also got upgraded to a nice room with very comfortable beds as well! Will be booking my next work trip with the Glenlyn hotel!

A lot to like - clean, comfortable, good breakfast, close to the tube station and bus routes, high street just around the corner with pubs, restaurants, cafes, sainsburys etc, nice breakfast room, lovely garden which guests can use, great towels. Apartments are very nice, stylish and comfortable with every facility. Parking right outside which was very convenient.

We didn’t get the room we’d booked which was disappointing as our booking had been made 4 months earlier. We were moved and upgraded to an apartment for 2 days of our stay but inconvenient having to re-pack. Very heavy duvet for a very hot period. No bar, information needs updating but many pubs a short walk away.

Just 50m from the High St, The Glenlyn is in a fabulous location for exploring North Finchley on foot. It is also a great location for exploring greater London by train or car. Many restaurants within 100-200metres ... greek, italian, thai, as well as Starbucks & Costa. Plus the staff is very very helpful. Our flight was delayed by 3 days due to storms and they still managed to accommodate us in our original booking! The apartment was fitted wth absolutely everything needed for our stay and everything worked super well. The electronic key entrance was easy and such a relief to not have to carry a key! Such an extremely spacious apartment - the photos don't do it justice. Cannot recommend enough!

Very hard to fault this place. Just a couple of washing pods for the washing machine would be a great addition.

The location was ideal for us and being able to park was one of the reasons we stayed here. The staff was friendly and very helpful. It was a great plus that they took our cases up to the second (top) floor on arrival and also brought them down when we left. Despite being so close to the main road it was very quiet. They willingly changed my pillows when requested.

The steep stairs were dimly lit and care was needed when negotiating them as the treads were narrow. The complete interior needs re-decorating with the exception of the dining area which was light and airy.

I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The staff and facilities vastly exceeded my expectations. Everyone was so helpful, polite and went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was a positive experience. The apartment we were allocated was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and there was a great selection available. Access to the tube is only a few minutes away making this place perfect for central London access, without the noise, traffic and price tag. I would definitely stay here again; it was worth every penny.

I don’t think there’s anything this hotel could do better; they are perfect as they are.

Lady on reception very welcoming. Building is nicely decorated, leaving a lot of the original features. 1 of our rooms had soft beds and pillows. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment. Understand there are lots of shops and restaurants very close by but we didn't get a chance to visit due to our arrangements nearly an hour away.

Unfortunately 1 of our rooms had hard beds and pillows and 1 of the bed bases had stains. Shame the bar wasn't operating. Quite a long way out from our event at Wembley so cost a fair bit back and forth cost-wise and time-wise in ubers.

We had a fabulous day at Glenlyn from start to end. The loveliest welcome where we were able to check in early, got help with bags to the room and left the car for the day. Fantastic location a short walk from the tube and close to high street and shops around the corner if you need anything. The rooms were very clean. The beds really comfortable with good pillows and the shower was great. A lovely cooked breakfast and choice to have cold food (cereal/yoghurt/cheese/pastries etc) in their gorgeous breakfast room with a lovely garden if you want some air. We were so grateful to find a low cost, quality place with the loveliest staff. Wholly recommend.

The room was absolutely fine, containing the comfy beds and a fridge which was handy. The decor was a little bit in need of a refresh, but absolutely generous enough for the price paid so zero complaints. All clean and a lovely light in the front room, which was street facing and low noise despite being near the high street. We loved it!

This place is amazing - much bigger than expected, clezn and tidy. The people are great - very polite and friendly, ready to meet your needs. We had all that we needed. Whatever was missing was provided upon request. The breakfast is great and comes with a view. Some might say no good choice for breakfast - this is absence of imagination to combine the food. The street is silent. The hotel is close to many of shops and local restaurants. Very convenient connection by tube with the centre. Do not hesitate due to the distance - cannot get anything like that for the same price at the centre.

It is worth refreshing the sofa in the living room. It did not bother our stay. Just a suggestion which will make the place even better.

Great location, food options near the hotel, self checkin was quick and easy, staff was super helpful and the breakfast was really nice, especially the cooked options. The common area of the hotel were also inviting, and light.

The rooms are quite small and warm as others have mentioned, as well as a bit outdated, but the bed was very comfortable, you get tea and coffee in the room and the water pressure was great so for the price a good deal.

The building is like a tardis and the breakfast room was larger than we expected. The selection for breakfast was great and the cooked breakfast was freshly cooked and tasty. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The host and her son were very friendly and helpful. would gladly stay again.

The only thing I would say is that in the advertising it doesn't say that accommodation is over 2 floors, which in our case would have made it difficult for my wife. But they sorted the problem out.
