The staff were absolutely exceptional! Ahmed was incredibly helpful and friendly and really made me feel welcome. Murshid was also super helpful and was kind enough to show me the room before I booked! The cleaning staff are fantastic, it's a very vintage 70's hotel but its kept absolutely immaculate by Vera and Welbona! The location is perfect for Alexandra Palace and exploring High Gate and North London!

We booked this hotel for a trip Alexandra Palace for the World Darts Championships. We managed to get a parking space at the hotel but would have been able to park on the streets if not as there is no restrictions over the weekend. The room was really spacious for 3 adult males. Alexandra Palace was an easy 10 minute walk away. Wetherspoons 2 minute walk away, as well as different fast food options at night. Would 100% stay again if visiting Alexandra Palace.

The nearest train station was about 20-25 minute walk away if you wanted to visit other places, which we did. The water pressure in the shower was also extremely low.

I booked this room for my aunt, who is elderly and does not speak English. Overall, she had a lovely time and staff were really helpful, trying to find ways to communicate with her and to make her feel welcome. They were able to accomodate our request to have a room on the ground floor, which was really helpful, as she has mobility issues. The hotel is right in the heart of Muswell Hill, which is a lovely area of London, with lots of shops, cafes and wonderful views over London. Although it's not close to an underground station, it is very easy to get to it with local buses. The only thing I would say is that it is quite expensive for where it is (far from central London) and that at that price you would expect breakfast to be included, which is not an option at the hotel.

Some people might not like all the narrow staircases. I didn’t mind. I had a comfortable attic room. I loved it although I hit my head a couple of times. The breakfast cafe is in another building. Some might mind. I did not.

Very close to local Amenities (Restaurants/Sainsburys etc/Bus Routes). Room was large enough for one person for a night or 2 stay, and liked the mini fridge being in the room. Bed was comfortable and extra pillows available. Power Outlets within Reach.

25 minute walk from the Tube to London, but I knew that when booking. Might be something to consider for other travellers though. No desk or seating space in my particular room, so consider contacting the property for options if needing this.

Room was clean, beds were comfortable, and a brilliant location if going to Alexandra Palace for an event (10- 15mins walk). Close to local shops and restaurants. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Has seating outside of the hotel if the weather's nice the front looks a nice place to.relax. We also had a fridge in our room which was a huge bonus.

Hotel decor and furniture is a bit dated, there are only 3 parking spaces in the car park, there is on street parking but it is not guaranteed to get a spot. We booked the hotel 6 months in advance and noticed the price had gone up closer to our stay. Probably isn't worth the cost of the room (over £200 for a sat night) but cheaper if you book in advance. I guess you're paying for a clean room and decent location. Hotel is on a busy road so if you dislike supercars / motorbikes / drunk people shouting then bring ear plugs - it didn't ruin our stay and we had our windows open overnight, slept very well regardless.

We stayed here because we were going to a concert at the Alexander palace so l would say a great location if you like hills !!!!!!!! The property was OK. We had an air conditioning unite in our room, which was noisy but great because the room we had a double room was in the roof !!!!no lifts 3rd floor and a very hot weekend

No lift to the top floor could do with a update ,shower was not great either

Staff were excellent, very friendly. Rooms were very clean and the bed was so comfortable. We were able to leave our car the day after check out whilst we went into the city for a meeting, which was amazing. I will definitely stay here again when travelling to London. The value for the money was amazing. Thank you so much.

Because it's an old building you could here noise from upstairs rooms, however this is not a hotel fault.

My bed was very comfortable and I was pleased that there was one softer pillow, one firmer. The shower a good force and just the right temperature for me. I was thrilled that the kind staff allowed me to use the seating area next to reception for a WhatsApp call for a friend's birthday AFTER I'd checked out!

I prefer a room with a mini fridge but room 201 doesn't have one. Otherwise faultless.

The room was nice and clean, the bed very comfortable, and the bathroom was largely pleasant. The furniture was highly complimentary, and the carpet was very nice.

The bathroom had some crumbling plaster and was quite dirty in places The television controller didn't work initially and the television itself strangely lacked USB ports There were only two pillows which is impractical for people who sleep high up, The room was unbearably hot when I arrived Someone came into my room while I was out and broke my fire tv stick The socket extension was tightly tethered to the wall, limiting what could be connected to it and the television The room felt slightly claustrophobic
