The room had everything I needed: hairdryer, shower, comfortable bed, table, hanger, mirror, sockets for usb. The room was furnished competently and stylishly. Everywhere was super clean. I usually have trouble sleeping in new places and I am very sensitive to dust, but here I was super comfortable, I had no problem falling asleep, even wanted to stay there more :) Not just the room but the whole house and garden look super well maintained. Wonderful hosts - a very nice couple - who love what they do, always willing to help, happy to talk and I had a lot of fun talking with them 😊 There is a bus stop next to the house (3 minutes on foot) and the subway station is 3 stops away, which is less than 10 minutes (I sometimes walked to the subway station as it was nice to walk through the streets, it was about 15 minutes). I will definitely be staying at this house again and would happily recommend it again!

I really can't pick out any faults - everything was great!!

Booked and arrived 30 minutes later after initial room booking at other location was unsuitable. Mr & Mrs Kato meet me when I arrived and they were both very accommodating. Lovely garden right outside my door. One room and bathroom both decorated to a high standard and everything you could need including a small fridge.

Only slight whinge is that I only had 4 little milk cartons for 3 nights. I am sure if I had of asked for more I would have been given it but I was out early and back late.

What a wonderful little find,a warm welcome and great value for money . Safe parking on road with enough spaces. A great size fridge and a fan supplied. Everything you need and exceptionally clean. Love the thoughtful touch of slippers at the entrance so remember to remove your shoes out of courtesy to owners. Great location for our visit to Wimbledon with lots of info from the owner on transport links. Do not hesitate to book,we will be back for our next London trip. Thank you for a great stay 5*

Bed a little firmer than we personally like but we did sleep well. Only one pillow,but I am sure if we had asked for another it wouldn't have been a problem. These are not criticisms just are personal tastes.

Excellent little guest house, very quiet area perfect for couples or families looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city whilst still being close enough to go into the city if needed. friendly hosts and several shops close by for amenities. Unable to comment on the food as none available when we stayed but the rooms themselves were spotlessly clean, warm, tastefully decorated, Spacious and comfy with reliable & unlimited WiFi. Fridge in the room with tea &coffee making facilities included along with complimentary toiletries, towels and use of communal microwave &toaster also available. Very good value for money and Free on site parking with CCTV coverage too!

They were good hosts... Mrs Kato is lovely and friendly. I was expecting more service eg. rooms to be cleaned daily, a breakfast, just little things that make a stay more pleasant... perhaps i was spoiled by cape town.. where the service there is unbeatable... value for money and on tap service. so coming to this guest house, it was just a little let down.. perhaps it is my fault expecting too much.

certain facilities as i described above... I had not been told there is a kitchen to cook in should i need to... it was possibly a different culture and different way of doing things... I certainly expected more. but it is spotless..

Overall very happy with our stay and would definitely come again should the need arise. However, there was a lack of the small milk cartons for tea/coffee and when we texted the owner we didn’t get any reply at all. It was difficult to fill the kettle up from the hand basin in the en-suite and the fridge had not been switched on prior to our arrival. The room itself and the location were lovely and the en-suite was so nice. The shower was very good, the bed super comfortable and our brief interactions with the owners found them to be very pleasant people. As stated, we would definitely return again but just wanted to raise the minor points above having been property owners ourselves in the USA. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

Very welcoming. Perfect location for us. Lovely bedroom and bathroom. Very comfortable and clean. Yes it was little unusual to be asked to remove shoes before entering the property, but this was also our hosts home, so why wouldn’t you show a little curtesy and respect for the benefit of all. Optional breakfast is not always available, but for a very reasonable price we had a lovely continental breakfast on each of our three day stay. Would not hesitate to stay again.

The place is so clean . Spacious ensuite room a bonus. Tea and coffee available in the room. A fridge ,TV . Just like a hotel room . The shower is powerful

I couldn't find any fault with this place. I come to London to work a few times a year and have stayed in many places .This place by far is the best . Its my first choice whenever I'm back working in South West London. Mitsou the host is very helpful, kind and professional. He replied quickly to any messages I have sent .

The room was exceptionally clean and well equipped. We had a mini fridge in the room, kettle, tea and coffee with mugs and spoons also there are a microwave, a toaster and cutlery in the common area. The room looks brand new and spotless and the bed is super comfortable. The area has a good atmosphere. although the city centre is approximately 50 mins from the property, but easy access by a shot bus ride and northern line. Also extremely nice and helpful staff! I can only recommend!!

katolondonhaus 3rd stay , this time 17-19 May 2024 2 nights , Room 5 My third stay at Katolondonhaus. Once with family , last two times I stayed, alone in room 5. The room has a large double bed with very soft but firm pillows , a firm -medium mattress and a really nice duvet , that to me was the same you as you get in a premier inn...all very cosy. The ensuite although small, is very well appointed with a super fast hot shower , that really does a great job envigourating you for the day with a modern small sink , glass shelf and bathroom mirror , all tastefully decorated with a contemporary grey tile pattern. There's is a desk to work from next to a mini fridge , on top of which are the complementary water, tea and coffee facilities. The TV, I think 32 inch ( flatscreen Samsung) is mounted on the wall which set a above a fixed hairdryer. Heating wise there is a large radiator, I didn't use this time , as the double glazed windows , with modern slats was easy to open for fresh air. WiFi is excellent, you can easily play call of duty mobile or watch your favourite film on your laptop. All in all tastefully decorated, kept very clean and I would recommend. You will not be disappointed. In addition there is a large kitchen area, should you require any additional items which is next to a dinning table leading on to the well manicured garden. The property itself is set in a quiet residential area of Morden with parking on or just off the property on the main road. It feels very safe with an electronic combination lock to the main front door. Matsuo is extremely welcoming and thoughtful of his guests and will leave you to get on with things. If you need anything else just ask or leave a note! I will be staying again and katolondonhaus is now my "go to" accommodation when I visit London from Suffolk. Alan , Suffolk.
