The hotel staff great very welcoming on arrival absolutely amazing room great shower. Great food.

The fact that while dressing to leave hotel cleaners knocked and walked in without waiting. Before our checkout time. We were provided with a very small amount of water. Which wasn't enough at all. First hotel I've stayed with no fridge.. in the night for rather a long period the reception phone was ringing at 3 am and continued to ring which at that time and being so close to reception is awful. Didn't sleep well at all after this. I think u need signs for people to be quiet we were in room 103 and it was so loud up til 2 am then awoke my the phone. So overall a terrible night's sleep which is a shame as great place. But these are very small issues that need addressing but for me effected our stay. Unfortunately I'd not book again ..

This hotel is in Wallington, not Croydon. We are local and had problems with the water in our flat so came here to stay for 11 nights (the rest was via their website) our hotel was a disabled adapted one with wet room etc. lovely room, very spacious, has chair by desk and arm chair and a table. heater on the wall and a portable too. Sockets by the bed etc very modern. Hotel was not noisy at all, even on New year's eve! We had a great stay, thank you so much! We'll miss coming home from work for a lovely sleep at Dukes head but are glad to be home. Will recommend to friends and family when they stay.

A buzzy pub, so great if you want a drink and good food- but not if you are an early to bed person (but then why stay at a pub if you are?) ! Very very comfy bed and luxury duvet. Great shower and nice toiletries. Very good breakfast

See above if you like going to bed early! A few little niggles as my coffee machine didn’t work (but there was a kettle but the instant not a good as a nice nespresso!) and there was a dirty towel left behind the door from the last guests and the water bottle was half full - so attention to detail by room checker / housekeeping was lacking.

Good location for Wallington (where our son was getting married). We and our daughter stayed for Friday and Saturday nights in early August and we also enjoyed dinner with two friends on the Friday night as well as breakfast in the mornings. We loved the Duke's Head: although a bit pricey it was worth the money - we had comfortable, quiet rooms on the 1st floor; the food was excellent, and the staff all very friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend!

Fantastic place to stay. Ideal location, Hospitality excellent. Great welcome and the lady on reception tells you all you need to know. The bedrooms are superb, everything you need for your stay and a very comfortable bed. I particularly liked the two hooks on the back of the bathroom door, it's the little touches that matter. We also had lunch and dinner here, food excellent and service great. Breakfast in the morning was also superb lots to choose from including cooked breakfast.

Very comfortable and huge bed. The room was large with lots of nice extras. The breakfast was excellent. Parking (free) and location were perfect for us. We didn’t eat in the restaurant but if the quality of the breakfast is anything to go by I’m sure it’s very good. Staff were very friendly and helpful even with the booking issue.

The room smelt a bit ‘damp’ to start with but realised it was coming from the air con unit. After we ran that for a bit and opened the window the smell went away. We did not raise this with staff as it wasn’t really an issue. Unfortunately we were charged for breakfast despite paying for a room including breakfast when booking. Told we needed to address this with bookings.com and had to pay extra at check out. Please make sure you check your booking details. I have not marked the hotel down for this in my review as it was an issue with bookings.com that I’m hoping they will resolve. Not the hotels fault.

The location was good for our plans to see a show that evening. Staff were very welcoming & helpful. Room was spacious & equipped with plenty of refreshments. Shower & sink units were very modern. The large bed was very comfortable & relaxing. Breakfast was superb & freshly cooked & offered extra menu choices for same rate. Free parking was a bonus too.

It was a lovely place to stay but for the price of the room only accommodation I would have expected there to be a small fridge provided as standard & a few more plug sockets or USB charging points. There was also a selection of bar snacks presented in the room but some items on the price list were not on the tray so we had to clarify with reception that we hadn't consumed the missing packets.

Was everything we were looking for. Although on a main road we had a room overlooking the rear which was very quiet and really comfortable. Food was excellent and plentiful. Staff attentive and very helpful. Coffee machine in your room to die for!

Disappointing wifi connection. You may not pay for wifi but your personal data is being collected by the brewery should you accept the conditions.

The hotel in Wallington was a perfect location for the CryerArts centre in next door Carshalton within a 5 min walk. The hotel was lovely with a large attractive garden .. our room was on the ground floor,was spacious with everything you needed,comfortable bed,heated towel rail & electric free standing radiator which was very useful. Lots of lovely little touches which put it above lots of other hotels we’ve stayed in.
