First of all we loved Claudia! She is the best host one can ever hope for. The B&B is super clean. Room was comfortable. Loved the location of too. The place is 2-3 mins away from the closest station on foot. The train leaves every 30mins to Victoria station. The whole ride there is about 20mins. Nearby, there is a Sainsbury's and a Tesco extra as well, but smaller grocery shops can be found here too. We went to two awesome pubs in the vicinity of the B&B - "The Railway", just by station, serves great food, has a nice garden. The other one is called "The Bull" - this is 10-13min away. Worth the walk, don't miss it. We'll be definitely going back next time we travel to London.

Be prepared - If the windows of your room are open during the night - flights landing/taking off early morning and in the evening, are a quite loud, especially if you are not used to the noise.

My stay at this Bed & Breakfast was perfect. Claudia was very kind. The breakfast every morning was really good (I even had pancakes on sunday). The area is quiet and it was great to sleep in a peaceful environment after spending a day in busy London. The house is close to a train station that takes you in 20 minutes to London Victoria. My room was very comfortable, I could make my own tea in my room and Claudia even left some treats (crips, biscuits, tea, coffee, hot chocolate). The wifi is good. But the best thing about this accomodation is that it is sparkling clean ! Both my bedroom and bathroom were cleaned every day. Next time I visit London I will definitely stay here again !

I had a wonderful stay once again! Claudia is an incredibly welcoming host who truly makes you feel at home. The accommodation is cosy, quiet and comfortable, it really feels like at home. Breakfast was delicious, and I especially enjoyed the lovely chat in the morning, such a warm and friendly atmosphere. The nearby train station gets you to the city center in just a short ride. I chose to return here because I enjoyed the lovely atmosphere so much the first time, and it certainly didn’t disappoint. Highly recommended this place to stay!

Claudia, the host, was very helpful from the very first contact through Booking.com about train connections to her b&b, She is always happy to give recommendations or help you find out how to get to the sights you want to see. My room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable, the bathroom very clean and also quite big and modern. It is very quiet during the night. The train station is only 2mins away. With the train you reach Victoria Station in the city centre within 20mins. Thank you for the lovely stay Claudia!

The house was clean and looked lovely with Christmas decorations! Our room was nice and cosy, with a lovely bathroom. Claudia the host was amazing! She told us where to get the trains/tubes and had lots of knowledge about London. The best thing was the breakfast! Claudia gave us croissants with about 30 choices of jam! She made me eggs on toast and also baked a banana loaf which was the best one I've ever tasted 😋 cereals, milk, cheese and lots of lovely things to set you up for the day! Thank you Claudia!

Excellent, clean and comfortable B&B with an extremely friendly, accommodating host. The en-suite rooms were spacious, and a good choice of breakfast was provided. The location (very close to Streatham Common train station) meant that central London could be reached in 20 minutes, and the room prices were very reasonable.

No complaints at all, although the exterior of the house could perhaps do with a little paintwork. (A high-quality B&B like this deserves the best possible appearance.)

First class welcome despite the fact I was 2 hours too early. Claudia let me leave my bag which was very welcome on a hot day. Shoes off , handy racks at entrance and indoor slippers available a good facility. I was shown room and other facilities and given advance info re breakfast. Offered local knowledge re evening food etc which proved very good. Also my query regarding buses for next day was answered sensibly. Good en-suite with excellent shower and all Soap, shampoo etc provided. The breakfast eggs to order were first class along with toast & croissant. Excellent Coffee made to order and an extensive choice of Herbal or regular Tea if you preferred that. Home made muffin and a bit of fruit to have at lunchtime was a very pleasant touch. Home from home in a big City! Easy walking distance to Streatham Common Railway Station and Bus stops.

Claudia is an extremely nice host, very helpful with any questions we may have had. She always made sure our needs were met. Breakfast was very nice, lost of options to choose from! The rooms are very spacious, clean and well decorated. The bathroom is particularly nice, really liked the big shower. The house is very close (5 mins by foot) to the train station, where you can easily catch a train to Victoria Station. By foot, it's reasonably close (15 mins) to the big supermarkets (Tesco, Sainsbury, etc). Will stay here again when we visit London again!

Nothing, every was perfect

I absolutely loved my stay at Streatham Common. Claudia was the perfect host, nothing was too much trouble for her. My bedroom and bathroom were cleaned daily and were spotless. Kettle and nibbles were provided in the room. Toiletries were provided, which was handy as I wished to travel light. Claudia is very knowledgeable regarding both the local area and central London. The breakfasts were superb: homemade pancakes, apple cake, and muffins. A huge selection of cereals, jams and spreads. Eggs cooked perfectly to individual preference. Croissants, yoghurt, juice, and toast were all provided. I was able to use the communal fridge, which was very useful. As a solo traveller, I particularly enjoyed the lovely morning chats over breakfast with both Claudia and the other guests. Train and bus stations only a short walk away. Will definitely book again !

Nothing to dislike !

Claudia is a fantastic host, the accommodations were clean and well kept. Breakfast was very nice and a great start of our days in the city. Any information about London and getting around was happily supplied by Claudia and we even got home baked muffins to go when taking an early flight out to continue our travels. Streatham Common station, which is very close to the accommodation, also has a direct train line into central London which allows you to very easily make your way into the city.

The accommodation is unfortunately just one stop short from where the underground terminates, Balham, and London for some inexplicable reason shuts down its train traffic very early in the night (00:30 or so), which caused some issues when getting back to the B&B. This is however not a fault of the property (which is excellent), it's a general London issue and is not a problem for anyone who is able to round off their day before midnight to take the train back to Streatham Common, which was actually very convenient.
