Alex made us very welcome and she prepared a good breakfast with her home made bread too. The location was ideal as we were visiting Hampton court. There is on street parking and Alex kindly provided a parking permit for the duration of our stay. Alex communicated everything very well and I would definitely recommend her as a very good host.

It was close to the train station and because I am a light sleeper I did not have a good night's sleep. However, my partner slept well. The rating would have been higher if my sleep had been better.

The breakfast was great. Really enjoyed the fresh fruit salad and Alex's lovely home-made bread! There was granola, yoghurt and fruit juice too - just what we needed to fuel our sightseeing each morning.

There was nothing we didn't like. The location was excellent too - less than 5 minutes' walk from Teddington railway station. Great train service - very handy for visiting Central London as well as areas further afield.

Alex was really pro-active in giving us directions and details of how to get in if she wasn't at home. This extended to giving us bus routes to get round the train drivers strike, recommendations of nice places to eat and where to shop for shorts during the heatwave. Outstanding customer service, added to a lovely, clean, comfortable room and a fabby continental breakfast with the best homemade sourdough bread I've ever tasted. As it's only a few stops from Twickenham, we'll definitely be back for Scotand :England Rugby games. ❤️

Having to go home!

The room and home was very clean and comfortable , large bedroom and also big shower/bathroom. Location was perfect for us, we were happy to stay outside of the main London central areas. Close to Teddington town centre, rail station, pubs and restaurants. Simple but decent breakfast with fresh baked bread. Host,Alex was lovely and very helpfull.

Rather steep stairway to room. The bedroom was large enough but no real storage area for bags or to hang clothes. You have to enter hosts main house for access to room.

Very nice cosy and clean accommodation with care and attention to detail given by the host. She took time to contact me before the trip to explain parking and access instructions and baked really delicious gluten free bread as part of a very nice breakfast, including fresh fruit, orange, coffee and various spreads, jam, honey. The accommodation is 2 floors up with own shower room. It is next to the railway line but noise was very minimal and the setting charming.

Parking and access not completely straightforward, a simple map showing where to park and how to access the property, with key codes provided all in one place, on booking confirmation would would be really helpful for orientation.

I'll be honest, we did not know what to expect when booking this small but exceptional B&B. The idea we would be staying in the only letting room in the house can potentially be daunting, but we will definitely be booking here again when going back to Twickenham. The host, Alex, was brilliant from start to finish. Her communication before arrival was great, explaining parking and giving great directions. We had a warm reception on arrival, a full explanation of the entry and exit procedures and a great introduction to the area. The room is a loft conversion with an en suite, very clean with tea/coffee facilities. As we were experiencing some barmy hot weather Alex had placed an electric fan in our room which was well received. Then, in the morning, we had a cracking continental breakfast. But the star of the show, Alex's freshly baked porridge bread. OMG, it was delicious, especially toasted with 'proper' butter and jam. Thank you Alex for a brilliant stay, we will be back.

The room is clean and bright and spatious. The breakfast especially home made bread is good and the amount is sufficient for me. Nice to know English style home, if you are tired of a hotel room.

If you do not like going up and down the stairs, you may need to discuss before booking. I have no problem for this, however.

For us we would not change anything It was a haven on a new experience Some people might not like the sound of trains at the nearby station but it did not concern us Some people might not like lovely safe Teddington,we did

It was very hot as the room.is at the top of the house there was a fan but not very effective Not the fault of the owner but something to consider

This accommodation is a one double bedroom room in a semi detached house. It was fine for our needs, but would say for elderly it is a climb upstairs with suitcases. Alex the owner is super friendly and very accommodating as well as interesting to chat to. So friendly, she will give advice where to go and what to do. A lovely area near to Bushy park and right by the rail station

Maybe carrying suitcases up the stairs, the room is an “A” shape so if you tall watch your head. Otherwise everything you need near and around.
