The hotel is generally good, the staff are helpful, and the cleanliness is satisfactory. The room sizes are considered good and suitable for short business trips. For me, it will be one of my options if I come to London again. The hotel’s location is generally good. What I also liked is the presence of a kitchenette in the room, which was one of the things that impressed me. The room is like a small studio.

The hotel is rated as a 4-star property, but in my personal opinion, I believe its rating does not exceed 3 stars for the following reasons: 1. The breakfast is very limited and lacks variety. 2. There is no luggage porter service. 3. There are no water bottles provided in the rooms, even though bottled water is considered a basic amenity in 4- and 5-star hotels. Moreover, when purchasing it from the hotel, the price is quite high. 4. The price is relatively high compared to the services provided.

Not impressed by the bar staff putting service charge on drinks bought over the bar. Bought a pint of Moretti from a bartender in a waistcoat and found out upon buying another from the girl on the front desk and seeing the price difference that he had put service charge on it. I understand that he makes money from service charge, but putting it on a single pint that is immediately paid for for no reason cheapened what was otherwise a lovely hotel.

Central location, friendly staff, restaurant on the property. In the center of the town, a large Tesco is a short walk away also seen a few restaurant in the area.

When we arrived at the hotel we drove around the block three times trying to find a place to park, there aren't any, I parked illegally on the sidewalk and quickly went into the hotel and checked in. We were provided a key card which opened the doors, from the reception to the lift you had to go through three locked doors to get to the lift. With three large suit cases it wasn't easy. There is no car park at the hotel and I was instructed to go to a parking lot about one kilometer away to park the car, not very convenient.

Firstly, I must commend the reception staff, especially Ms. Tais, who is the kindest person I encountered not only in the hotel but throughout my entire stay in London. She was incredibly helpful, consistently kind, and always greeted me with a warm smile. The room itself was another highlight; it was spacious, well-equipped with all the necessary facilities, and even exceeded my expectations in some areas. Additionally, I was very pleased with the coffee machines and the wide variety of coffee options available, which added a delightful touch to my stay.

Despite the positive aspects, there were a few areas that I found disappointing. The lighting in the room was inadequate, creating a dim and somewhat uncomfortable atmosphere. The breakfast offered limited options, which I found surprising for a hotel of this caliber. Another issue was the lack of a proper drop-off area in front of the hotel due to a bus lane, which caused several inconveniences with Uber drivers; the hotel should consider establishing a designated area for taxis and rideshare services. Additionally, the television in my room was not functioning, and the internet connection was occasionally slow, which impacted my overall experience.

It’s modern, clean, spacious room, nice interior. Friendly staff. Vicinity to the train station is perfect (8min walk)

The entrance is not very obvious. They should make it clear what the entrance of the hotel is. The bed is comfortable. It hugs your body. It can feel a bit soft for some. But for me that wasn’t a problem. The problem is that the pillows are too high/big. Since you are laying lower due to the softness of the mattress and the pillow is high it gets uncomfortable for your neck. The pillows should be flatter or at least get 2 flatter ones and 2 bigger ones so you can choose. Now you have 4 big ones on the bed. The area around the hotel is not the prettiest. Going for a stroll in the evening is not very appealing. But it’s a convenient location if you have to be outside of London (west side).

Really convenient location as it was easy walk from station which gave us easy transport options for both Windsor and Central London. Very good buffet breakfast. Though we didnt make full use of the studio kitchenette facility, these would have been good for a longer stay. Good and prompt service for a dinner in restaurant.

Not so much a dislike as it would be useful to know in advance the rather unusual layout. The modern block has two entrances and it wasnt initially clear that you needed to take the left hand one to access the lift to the reception which is on the 9th floor. We initially got it wrong but helpful staff opened an interconnecting door to the lift lobby without our going back out to the street - obviously we werent the first to get it wrong! Restaurant menu was a bit loaded with spicy options but quality and service was good.

The staff were friendly, professional and helpful. The hotel, restaurant and room were clean and comfortable. We ate dinner in the restaurant our first night and it was excellent. The bathroom was large and the water was hot with good pressure. Slough is a very ethnic area and there were lots of Indian and Pakistani restaurants to choose from. The bus to Windsor is only a block away. Residence is coupled with a hotel named Moxy with a fun restaurant and bar open 24 hours.

Front desk was welcoming and accommodating when we arrived well before check-in with loads of luggage. Loved the room layouts and amenities provided and that breakfast was included. Was able to do laundry and younger guests could play PlayStation upon request. Location is excellent for nearby railway access and the high street which were high priority for our trip. Would absolutely stay again!

While reception at the top floor is great with the view, it can be a bit confusing when you first arrive. However, Moxy reception was very helpful with directions.

Staff were super-friendly and accommodating. Room and hotel was exceptionally clean. I've stayed in a LOT of places and have nothing but superlatives to share to exclaim about this place. Keep up the good work!

The only reason I didn't give top marks was because it wasn't clear to me what the actual name of the hotel was (Residence Inn, Moxy, Marriot?!). I wasn't sure which door to enter and didn't realise the hotel I was staying in (Residence Inn or Marriot?!) was separate to the main entrance and you need to access the lifts and go to the 9th floor for Reception. I was meeting a Deaf Colleague and it was very confusing so I had to text him ahead of time and warn him of this because he may have struggled otherwise.

Great rooms with comfortable interior. Awesome breakfast. Very friendly staff. Good location near to Slough Station and High Street (although the latter could be debatable). Windows shield a lot of traffic noise. Stayed here for my second time, will come back!

No parking. This is advertised clear, so it was not a surprise, but it should be factored in. Parking at Slough Station or in the Shopping Centre is near by and affordable, so no huge issue - but the luggage still needs to be carried over. Prices on the expensive side, but still acceptable. Since located at a very central crossing, can be noisy at times.
