The room was lovely and very spacious and the bathroom clean. The staff at the front desk and in the restaurant were very friendly and helpful and the location excellent. We will definitely use it as a base for future visits and Wimbledon Village is fabulous!
There was no luggage rack in the room, even though there was space for 2 of them, this always a negative for me. There was noise (bass notes doomph doomph) from the Friday night music, coming from the bar, that only affected us because we were jet lagged so in bed early. It didn't go on too late though and we watched TV to drown it out!

My room overlooked the village at High Street. It was a spacious room, nice bathroom, cozy duvet and pillows, with the thermostat in the room to adjust (happened to be unseasonably cold when I was there). Lots of coffee and snacking options in the room. Fresh milk provided in the fridge daily. The hotel staff were very accommodating as I had trouble with the Sky TV but the manager came up and got it going for me, then I left an item of clothing behind after checking out, but I called them after I had returned to the States (the next morning) and they had already found it! They put is aside for my son to pick up from them as he was still in town. Very personable, relaxed, comfortable environment. Also above a pub and restaurant with friendly, busy atmosphere with a real fireplace near the bar. I will stay here again.
Only trouble I had with the Sky TV for 2 days of my stay, but this was addressed quickly both times, the second time seemed to stick. The mattress was a little soft. A firmer mattress would have been grand! Otherwise, I was quite happy there and will stay again.

The check in lady named Anna is so so nice, helpful and charming! It’s a cute hidden gem!
It’s too close to street. It was past 10 last night when there were guests at the restaurant below our room talking loudly on the street which is also directly below my room. Then so early in the morning there was a car must have parked also below my room making annoying noises that kept me from sleeping. Not sure how it can be fixed. Perhaps installing sound proof window glasses for room.

We arrived early, before 11am. The lady on reception managed to get a twin room for us so that we could move in before official check in time. The room was great, on the top floor with views over the high street. The room was very spacious and very clean, really welcoming. There was complimentary tea and coffee and - to pay for a bar/fridge and basket of goodies. There was a bath room rather than just a shower, which was also very spacious and very clean.
I wanted to get just a couple of sausage rolls for supper as we were up since 4am and very tired. I went to the bar and the lady there said I'd be able to order room service via the app. So went back to the room and tried the App. Neither I, no my daughter where able to use this! However, there is a happy ending as I went down the road to the delicatessen Prezzemolo and Vitale where I was able to get homemade lasagna which they heated and cold broccoli and bean salad. Delicious.

Thank you to all your team for the warm welcome at the Dog and Fox. Everything was great; lunch on arrival, spacious room, delicious breakfast and friendly, talkative restaurant staff.
The only thing that I didn't like was not being allowed to pay in cash for our room. We have planned for this, only to be told that cash is not accepted. We acknowledge the benefits of 'cashless' at places, but feel that cash, as legal tender should be accepted. The consumer should have the choice of how to pay.

The decor in the room was exquisite. The hosts had furnished this room with every comfort for a traveller. There was a mini fridge containing fresh milk, so you could have a nice cup of tea. There was a complimentary bottle of fresh water and a basket of snacks. The snacks had to be paid for, but it was so nice to have the option of buying them if you were peckish.
There was nothing I did not like. I think the room could have been a little bit warmer. The previous guest may have put on the air conditioning to cool the room, but by the time I arrived, the room was a bit cold. Nevertheless, the room was so comfortable, and the amenities were fantastic.

Beautiful pub/Hotel, lovely rooms and helpful staff.
There is no parking and it is difficult to find spaces in the village, The mattress in room 34 is very hard. I was let down with breakfast, I ordered a black coffee, omelette, sausage and bacon. The omelette was great but I don't think the sausage and bacon had seen the pan or oven as they were anemic. .No excuse as I was the only guest having breakfast and then charged £21 for it. I did get a discount but only when asked about the price..

The hotel room was v roomy & the bed v comfortable. The breakfast was delicious & the bar had a lovely friendly atmosphere. Wimbledon Village was lovely plenty of restaurants, bars & cafes. We stayed here 2 nights & attended Chelsea Flower Show, which was easy to negotiate our way to, even for non Londoners

Great location and interesting concept for hotel. Employees were very friendly, professional and accommodating.
Unfortunately our room was warm the entire stay, although we had notified the staff that our AC wasn’t working properly. Nothing was done to rectify the situation. Other parts of the hotel were cool but our room never cooled down. It was quite uncomfortable.

Decor, space, cleanliness all excellent. Restaurant staff very friendly, accommodating and professional.
We were charged an extra £50 for a terrace room when we booked and paid for a double room at £139.00. We were charged £189.00. We paid for the room and later checked the Booking.com confirmation email which confirmed £139.00. When we checked with reception, they informed us that we had been given a room with a terrace and charged an extra £50. I was very disappointed that the hotel did not adhere to our reservation with Booking.com. The receptionist informed us that the overpayment would be refunded. To date it has not been refunded. We did not receive an apology which was disappointing.
