I recently had the pleasure of staying at Woodlands Park Hotel, and it was a truly memorable experience from start to finish. Nestled in a picturesque setting with beautiful grounds and elegant architecture, this hotel strikes the perfect balance between historic charm and modern luxury. The Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of dishes. The rooms are spacious, but need some TLC , tastefully decorated with plush bedding and all the amenities you'd expect from a high-end property. I especially appreciated the attention to detail — from the high-quality toiletries to the thoughtful touches like complimentary bottled water and coffee facilities and fruit. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, every member of the team made us feel genuinely welcome.

The close proximity to M25 but rooms had secondary glazing which deadened the sound. Some areas of the rooms were dusty particularly by the side of the beds which was a little disappointing and marks the on some of the furniture which I would not expect to see in the Kings suite.

Loved the location and and how easy it was to find it. The weather was great so took advantage of eating outside both for dinner and breakfast which were both very good and tasty. Menu options were good. The staff were friendly, polite and efficient. The room was excellent with a comfy bed, air conditioning. Love having robes & slippers provided and water made available - always love slippers especially as I'd forgotten to take ours.

The room was next to the lift so glad we had earplugs, However appreciate that it was a late booking so had to take what was available. Loved sitting on the terrace for drinks & dinner but couldn't help hearing the constant hum of the M25 - not the hotel's fault.

It was very conveniently located for a funeral. The hotel is grand and in nice grounds.

I was a little disappointed with the bar (choice of draught beers). I was also disappointed with the lack of differentiation between the two restaurants menus. I didn't mention it to the staff but I was quite ill during the night after my meal in the Oak restaurant - I had king prawns which I believe we're ok but I also had the lamb with peppers and aubergines, at the time I thought there was a little "off" taste but ate it anyway.. the meal, I think, made me quite physically sick. I had not drunk much alcohol at all so I can only put it down to the food.

Location, welcome, grounds and Oakroom restaurant.

The cooked self serve breakfast was lukewarm. The staff friendly but the service slow - we had to ask for tea a few times, waited for gluten free bread for at least 15 minutes. The room was comfortable but in need of a freshening up - bath seal old, the shower screen had a gap so water went on the floor with puddles when got out off the over bath shower. The net curtain had a burn hole in them, the sink hot water was scolding hot. For our overnight stay it was good enough but value for money, no. A breakdown of charges, bar, meal and add on expenditure should be automatically printed out and sent/given to the guests - none was offered, just told the amount due and shown computer screen with totals.

Staff were excellent, helpful and attentive. The building is magnificent and has a great feel. Food was of good quality and value. I would certainly return.

This is more of a suggestion than a complaint. We stayed in a room where the bath was set into a wide marble surround. There was no separate shower, only a shower over the bath. This meant that getting in and out of the bath shower was potentially dangerous and a great danger of slipping. Given the age-profile of the guests we shared the hotel with, it would be a good idea to remodel the bathroom to remove the need for clambering in and out of the bath when showering.

I was there for my niece’s 40th birthday Festive Tea and stayed the night. The tea was excellent and we sat in front of the fire with an enormous Christmas tree beside us. Very festive! My room was not for anyone who cannot manage stairs or a shower over the bath, but was very comfortable and had plenty of sockets and other amenities. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. Traditionally served English breakfast. All food very good.

Service is a little on the slow side. Our tea things were not cleared away promptly leaving us with a table of washing up to look at for too long and I got the impression that despite there being a lot of staff about, they were very busy, so it took a while to get served at dinner and breakfast.

I have to give this hotel a perfect score of 10/10 for cleanliness! For me, the most important thing is having a clean stay, and I was so impressed with how spotless everything was. The room felt cozy and was incredibly clean! There wasn’t a speck of dirt in sight—we had fresh sheets, fluffy towels, and the bathroom was sparkling. Honestly, cleanliness is my top priority, and this place nailed it! Of course, the room had a TV, could complimentary coffee etc and was aesthetically pleasing, but the best part was just how clean it was!

All staff are very friendly and helpful .From the moment we checked in we were made to feel very relaxed, reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly, breakfast was excellent with lots to choose from and plentiful, rooms were very comfortable and clean with lots of extras, tea tray with a lovely choice of products and bathroom with a good choice of shower gel and body cream. We would highly recommend this hotel and will be returning very soon. 😀 Our departing gift was a lovely surprise.

Having to leave and returning to normal life 😪

Staff were professional and friendly. Ayesha on reception was an excellent ambassador for you and was the epitome of a staff member making us feel welcome. We couldn’t praise her and her support team highly enough for going the extra mile for our son’s 30th birthday celebrations,

The complimentary drinks were confusing because we had 6 people and had 7 drinks so expected to pay for 1. But, mixers were ‘extra! So we had to pay for 3. We had complimentary drinks so it’s really not a big deal! Maybe add more car chargers. I had to wait an hour, but again, no big deal because we were staying at the hotel.

We enjoyed a family dinner at Woodlands Park Hotel. The meal and service were superb!! We enjoyed everything about our stay. The front desk staff were great and the facility was very classy. The environment was very peaceful and relaxing.

The only small suggestion is on the outdoor trail on their property. It started out as a nice trail but then the further we went , the narrower it became. At one point we weren't sure which way to turn and we were fighting brush to get through.
