Excellent friendly helpful staff, comfortable room with thoughtful extras provided. Easy to park, ( plus free) and good links to roads to get to a number of places ie central London or A3 or M25. Will definitely stay again

Bathroom clean but needs a revamp soon. Wifi connection varied.

Easy and unlimited parking no matter what time of arrival. It is very easy to park up, unload, and then a very short and quick walk to the High Street for dinner (plenty of choice on the High Street as well) Great black out curtains, so the room was properly very dark at night, making sleep easy after a long day working. This was also made easier as it is a very quiet location.

With working long days, early starts and late finishes meant I met no staff to say good morning to. This is one of the things I always enjoy in hotels, but that actually was not a problem, as it is a personal preference and not a grievance.

Perfect Location for me. Great price. Very large Room. Room was warmed with big radiator. Hangars to hang clothes. Could see my car from my room window. Could park right outside door of hotel. Made it easy to off load bags. New clean fresh towels. Bathroom was big and clean. Room was neat and clean. Bed was comfortable. Room was warm when I arrived. Hotel was quiet, no other guests as far as I could tell.

Toilet handle was a bit broken, hard to flush but I managed. Shower head was Cheap and hard to position, no mixer , separate taps. Had to remove shower head to turn on or get wet with cold water because the taps are below shower head and not easily accessible from the side. Basically a bath hand shower mounted high on a removable mount. Bedside lamp was hard to turn on and off.

The receptionist was very welcoming. The room was lovely and clean, and so was the entrance.It was lovely and quiet, and the room was heated nicely. I like the cups in the bathroom they were covered in a bag, which was nice and hygienic. There was plenty of tea and coffee and milk. I would definitely stay again.

I didn't like having to go to the main reception to collect the key. This should be stated when booking the room because I had to drive the car back to the main reception, and I had already got my bags out of the car after reading the message on the door.

The bed was very comfortable. Staff friendly and although no air conditioning, the room did have a fan. Quiet location and whilst no onsite restaurant, you are walking distance to various pubs or other restaurants etc. plenty of parking on site too. Breakfast was included in the price, which is a good thing.

Found it confusing to get to the lodge and would be good it clearly signposted on arrival through the gate. Air conditioning would be a great improvement and my room faced the hot afternoon sun, so leaving curtains closed would help keep the heat of the room down. The room did have a fan so that was helpful. An on-site bar or restaurant would be good if possible. Although the breakfast was included, choice is limited and only hot option is toast. However, it was of quality and free so can’t really complain!

We chose Sandown Park Lodge because it is close (15-20 min walk) to a railway station (Esher) that has frequent trains running to London Waterloo, had on-site parking and good restaurants nearby. Communications with the Lodge was easy and efficient. It was easy to get to being just a couple of miles off the A3. The room was compact but comfortable and whilst the décor is a little bit dated it was spotlessly clean. The staff were very helpful. Breakfast was a continental style buffet and sufficient for our needs. We highly recommend two nearby restaurants: The Giggling Squid and the Sherpa Kitchen. We would happily stay at Sandown Lodge again.

Very easy to find once we realised that it was located in the race course grounds (our fault for not reading the small print because it was made very clear!) Close to the high street so that we had no trouble going out to eat. Receptionist was nice & friendly & helpful. Our room was really great - clean, modern & comfortable. In tge morning the breakfast was plentiful with some nice food on offer and nothing was too much trouble for the lady who was attending to everyone.

Booked in at 3 and the room was very clean, and ready for me. The receptionist was pleasant and informative. Everything I needed for my short stay. Bed comfortable, and good sized well furnished room. 2 windows I could open which was great as a very hot day. Shut them at night due to traffic noise, but fan also supplied if required., Hairdryer in room. Perfect value for money with friendly staff and easy parking near the A3 for ease of travel.

The only thing I found slightly difficult were the stairs as no lift, but solid handrail, so not major problem.

The location was excellent, very close to a choice of restaurants. The staff were very friendly & helpful. The hotel was very clean & good value.

The bedrooms could do with a refurbishment but we're perfectly serviceable. I understand the need to save water but the flow was so slow it took an age to wash shampoo out, so a false economy. It would help to say not to follow sat nav direction as they take you in the back of the racecourse .

We've stayed at Sandown Park several times and has become our "go to" when we need a place. Set back from the road far enough not to be wakened by the noise of the somewhat busy road. It's basic but comfortable and clean, breakfast is adequate, serve yourself style and consists of toast with various jams, marmalade etc, cereal, fruit and pastries, tea, coffee and juice. The rooms are standard, comfy beds, a good shower, TV and kettle/tea/coffee. The staff are very welcoming and happy to help with anything you may need.
