The location is perfect for trips to the theme parks, horse racing and other London landmarks. Hotel was spotlessly clean, breakfast was very good with plenty of choice and staff super friendly and helpful. Room was clean, comfortable and surprisingly spacious. Fitness suite and pool a bonus however there were a couple of issues, not enough to stop us returning though as we did enjoy our stay overall

There were no staff in pool area meaning parents were allowing their kids to blatantly disregard the notices of no jumping, diving or under 16's in sauna/steam room. As a result we didn't stay long but it wasn't the end of the world as that was not why we chose this hotel. The other gripe was that there was a dog staying in the room next to ours which yapped and barked a lot which was a surprise as we weren't expecting this to be a pet friendly type of hotel and further surprised that seen as this was the case, that pet rooms and non pet rooms were next to each other. That's possibly our fault however for not researching that at time of booking.

Breakfast was very good. A buffet with plenty of variety. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was very clean. A staff member also came to check room was cleaned and we had everything we needed. On arrival, there was a power cut in the area delaying guests checking in. It was several hours and I thought it was very good of the hotel to supply free drinks and something to eat whilst we were waiting. It was one of the hottest days of the year, so this gesture was much appreciated.

I would have liked a rail to hold on, to help you out of the bath being an older person. I was nervous I might slip.

Nice, modern hotel with spacious bar and nice decor

Paying £8 per night parking seemed unnecessary as its location has ample parking and requires a car to get there, so appears more likely a way to subsidise room prices. Also needing to pay for meals before they arrive seems unnecessary in a nice hotel. Surely they weren't expecting guests to run off. We also arrived when the Women's Euro football final was on and along with other guests wanted to watch the match. Of the numerous Tvs in the bar area only one was able to have its speakers turned on, despite the staff trying hard to do so

Initially we had an issue with a very noisy air con/heating vent but this was quickly resolved by giving us a different room although being very late at night. The room was very clean and comfy. Great outlook over the river. The bed was very comfy and the pillows too. The bathroom was clean with a fab shower and shower products. The hand cleanser was lovely. Breakfast was really good. Quality produce and everything thought of. Lots of choice and very well presented. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. All the staff were professional and attentive. Can’t wait to stay again. Thank you so much.

Friendly staff and a good atmosphere in the communal areas. Good breakfast, even when working at full capacity on a busy weekend. A nice pool, with generous hours for children. A clean room and good service. Plenty of good places to visit nearby, on a family short break.

The size of the sofa bed in the booking for a 9 and 11 year old was too small. The details stated it was suitable for children up to 13 years, which was very optimistic. The bed was firm. Being large, it took up most of the space. The overall comfort could be easily improved by replacing poor quality pillows. Disappointing to pay extra for parking on a site where space clearly us not an issue.

This hotel is a peaceful retreat. The grounds are beautiful, with a large lawn, many trees, and calming ponds. Rooms are small but clean and the bed is comfortable. We also have good experience using gym and pool. Our stay at Holiday Inn was truly elevated by Alison’s exceptional service. From the moment I arrived for breakfast, she greeted me with the warmth and familiarity of an old friend, instantly brightening my day. Despite the long drive ahead, her genuine kindness and effortless charm made me feel not just welcome, but truly cared for. Alison’s radiant presence and sincere hospitality have set a high standard for what service excellence should be. I’m inspired by her ability to transform a simple meal into a memorable experience, and I hope to carry forward her spirit of genuine kindness in my own interactions. This is surely a relaxing and pleasant stay.

Request for 2 singles but get a standard double. It doesn't bother me much.

Location, facilities, the staff were very friendly helpful and very proactive in addressing any issues that occurred. Car parking easy and well maintained with a very helpful member of staff (Isaac) to assist if needed.

We emailed twice prior to arriving, in addition to requesting travel cot on day of arrival and unfortunately it didn’t arrive until midday on our 2nd day, resulting in our first night being very uncomfortable. some outside areas in need of maintenance eg the fencing around the water edge in need of repair due to very sharp parts causing injury to child, reported and they agreed to fix immediately.

Another pretty good stay. A special shout out to the staff in the restaurant for taking the time to ask me about my gluten allergy. The chef came out to talk about what he could do which was very much appreciated.

Not a friendly welcome when I arrived at reception, all rather aloof and indifferent. Still, the staff in the restaurant were very good. If you are staying at this hotel be aware of the air conditioning. I was given room 270, however when I got into the room I heard a loud machine noise and realised there was a large air conditioning unit right outside my window - so no sleep was going to happen that night. I asked at reception to be moved to another room (same staff as before) and I was a given a quiet room although the air conditioning in the room itself was not working. I do wonder if hotels should be more open about rooms being right next to loud machinery. It would at least save on carpet wear when guests come back down to ask for another room!

From the second my wife n I checked in, throughout our stay to the 2nd we both checked out was fantastic, nufink was to much trouble on various requests I asked for, for example: the hire of dressing gowns, purchasing drinks after 11pm nufink was too much trouble, wat I believe who may of been the hotel manager of which was male genuinely cudnt of been more accommodating.

The complete stay, was lucky enough to stay in ur kings suite which was amazing, heated bathroom floor, separate shower n bath which was really nice to av, I cud go on n on.😁😁 definitely will b staying again n very soon, absolutely loved it

The location is quite, away from traffic and easy to access, although did walk from Shepperton train station which is about 1.5miles so took 40 mins just for reference as it’s not in the centre. Hotel is clean, modern, good food, slightly light on dinner menu but breakfast really tasty and lots of choice including vegetarian options. The room was spacious, underfloor heating a bonus and the beds comfortable. The gym is small, see below but the pool is very nice, cold water so not heated and both steam room and sauna are small but work well.

The advertised fitness room, is very small, cramped and machines to close together with only 1 very small location for free weights and 1x smithing machine so would have liked more choice for machines and workout space.
