The bed was so comfortable and big. The room was decorated beautifully and was clean and tidy, beautiful blacked out curtains and good quality towels and toiletries. Facilities were good lots of tea and coffee as well as biscuits. Breakfast was wonderful full English as well as cereal toast and croissants lots of choice. Staff were really friendly and helpful Room was big and spacious Close to London Gatwick airport Will definitely stay again

Was.a bit noisy there. Had guests that were talking to 2.00am but not hotels fault so no bearing on the hotel Some noise from the aeroplanes but not as loud as we thought it might be yet again not hotels fault No food in the evening

Warmly welcomed by reception. Room was warm, comfortable and quiet in spite of its proximity to Gatwick. Planes stopped flying in and out from about midnight to 5am. There was a fridge and a kettle so I could make hot drinks. There was a good choice of wine available for solo travellers.

I needed an extra blanket and there wasn't one in the room. Luckily the reception staff lent me one. I would have preferred a hot chocolate sachet which did not contain any artificial sweeteners. Cadbury's Instant Hot Chocolate in sachets has no sweetener and although more expensive, would always be the preference of health conscious guests.

last minute booking for a hotel near Gatwick that had parking, many hotels have limited parking based on first come first served, as i knew i wouldnt arrive until late i needed to ensure i had somewhere to park. parked directly outside which was very convenient and only a 10 minute drive to the north terminal in the morning.

the room was very hot due to it having been a hot day, there was a fan in the room but it was too loud to sleep with it on. any other time it wouldnt have been an issue.

The room was lovely and cosy, the correct amenities were provided including the robes, teas etc. which after a long journey and before a flight were perfect.

The walls are paper thin - a couple checked in very late in the room above ours, and at midnight we were both awake several hours no being able to sleep because of the noise. It actually felt like those people were in our room with us - that's how loud it was. We could hear everything - their conversations, them moving around the room, the show they were watching etc. It was such a disappointment because everything else about our evening had been so wonderful, but just the noise we heard from above was nearly unbearable - I will add these people weren't being particularly loud, they were just talking at a normal level and watching a TV show, and we could hear absolutely everything!

The first person who checked us in was lovely, booked a taxi for us for the next morning and said that as we were leaving early we could have only a continental breakfast, which was fine with us, she even served us a drink from the bar (which I don’t think was open). The room was lovely and was clean with a nice bathroom. There was unfortunately no aircon and it was a hot night, but to open the windows meant we had the constant roar of the planes overhead leaving Gatwick, I know they can’t change that, they did have a big fan in the room which would have been ok but it sounded like EasyJet taking off and was just to loud to keep going. Also they did not have a top sheet so it was either the whole duvet which was very thick and warm or nothing we definitely did not want that, however the lady at reception did give us just a cover which worked perfectly. In the morning when we went for breakfast we were told new rules meant we could not have breakfast, I think she knew I was a bit annoyed so in fairness she did put some breakfast food and fruit into a bag which we then sat at the table and ate. There is plenty of parking there. The hotel was lovely nice grounds, would I stay again mmmmmm not sure being directly under the flight path has probably put me off.

The heavy duvet cover in summer, this was sorted though and the loud fan.

Room is very well equipped with lots of extras like robes and a mini fridge.

Bed was a bit tough, and shower was leaking and sink was blocked. I feel this BnB has lost the personal touch it used to have when we first started staying here years ago like fresh home made cookies in the room, and a better breakfast selection you could choose on the day. Had to choose cooked breakfast the night before and what was produced was a very lethargic looking cooked breakfast.

Excellent location Very clean Toiletries, dressing gown, tea and coffee, water and biscuits etc Tv Nice bathroom I had a single room and it was excellent value for the money. Totally recommend for hotel and park . I stayed on my return as I was too tired to drive home. I’ll stay and park here next time if I have an early flight. Short drive to eat and drink nearby Also close to the town Also has a restaurant and small bar I was very surprised with how good it was for the price 👏😀

I worried about the runway running parallel to the road. It was fine x

The room was spacious and well-maintained. The bed was comfortable, with fresh linens, and the pillows were perfect for a restful sleep. If you travelling a great location near Gatwick airport.

There was a slight background noise from planes taking off, which is noticeable at times, particularly if you're near the side of the hotel facing the airport. However, the noise didn’t significantly affect my sleep, as it was relatively mild and not disruptive. It may be more noticeable for light sleepers, but I found it manageable.

Upgraded to a double room. Clean and well appointed. I was helped especially by Carolina tha duty manager in the morning with a problem I had and she was extremely helpful - she went over and above all expectations trying to solve the issue.

The sound proofing in the rooms isn’t very good and you could hear guests in neighbouring rooms- not too much of a problem as most people were there to catch an early morning flight so probably went to bed early. The public areas are a bit faded and old fashioned.
