The accommodation was of an excellent standard, beautifully decorated with two large double beds and a very well stocked tea/coffee area.A very unusual set up with your own private bathroom being situated across the hall, but they do provide lovely fluffy dressing gowns to save any awkward meeting on the landing moments. The meal we had in their restaurant was second to none! Delicious & well presented Gastro pub style food that we couldn't fault, my husband declared that it was the best Pork Belly he had eaten. The staff were attentive and super friendly, we would definitely stay there again as it was a perfect location for the Goodwood Revival weekend which we were attending. 5 stars well done and hope to see you next year !

The continetal breakfast could have been better as although it was beautifully presented the options were not very inspiring. It would have been much nicer if they had offered the option of a selection of pastries with the fruit and cereal, instead of cold boiled egg with a small piece of cheese and sliced ham & buttered roll. But hey that is just my preference.

I loved staying at the Crown Inn - our room was clean, comfortable and beautifully-decorated, looking out over the village green at Dial Post. . The quality of the food was outstanding, including fresh fish and locally farmed beef and venison. I really enjoyed the breakfast hamper, which you can order the night before and which is great value at £10 a head (kids would enjoy it too). The pub also has a very pleasant garden at the back. If you're visiting the Knepp Rewilding Project, then it's an easy walk from the pub.

There was nothing we didn't like! Although the pub is closed some afternoons, we were sent instructions on how to access our room, which all worked smoothly.

Our room was quiet and very comfortable. Everything worked with a very comfortable bed, a great shower and breakfast was delivered to the room in a hamper. The breakfast was a continental one made up of local fresh ingredients. The restaurant served very nice well prepared food. It was amazingly quiet considering the A24 was close by which of course made very easy access to the main road and was 10 minutes walk from Knepp rewilding project

The room was very small (for the price) and there were only 2 surfaces to put our things. Not surprisingly for an old pub there were minimal electric sockets. There was only 1 spare socket at one side of the bed which was challenging to charge up 2 phones, tablet and computer.

Room overlooked the village green and was well appointed with coffee machine, kettle and even some homemade biscuits. I rarely sleep well in hotels as my own bed and linens etc don't normally compare. However this hotel has spent money on decent beds and mattresses and it was very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and their homemade breakfast bar is lovely. I brought my 2 collie dogs with me who were very welcome and there was even dog treats in the room.

Shower a bit temperamental and the room lacked a wardrobe as it was a bit cramped. My suggestion would be ditch the dresser in the entrance and have a shallow wardrobe there instead to hang clothes. I was alone but had that been a couple you would have really struggled with hanging space and space for luggage etc.

Well presented with everything I needed. Self check in was hassle free, there’s a notice board with your room allocation on it when you enter the accommodation via the access code sent in the email. My room looked like it had recently been renovated, nice clean modern en-suite, lovely clean towels and bedding. Excellent brew facilities thanks to the professional nespresso machine. The pub atmosphere was nice, the food and beer were great and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly….I would definitely visit again.

Comfortable, self contained accommodation very close to the Knepp estate. The pub has a limited menu but the food is very good and the staff are friendly and welcoming.

The only drawback is that it’s very close to a busy road so you get road noise most of the time.

Very quiet. Really handy for an evening visit to Knepp. Breakfast came in a hamper left outside our bedroom door so we could enjoy breakfast in bed!! Had ev charger. The pub shut up at 10pm and did not open until 12 midday so was really peaceful.

The coach house is a thoughtfully done conversion. It’s clean and comfortable, handy for the Crown and Knepp. Very friendly and lovely hosts. Our dog was also made very welcome.

The bedroom is an attic, not a problem but there’s not much headroom. Just be aware. The traffic on the A24 is audible but didn’t bother us.

Our stay in the Coach House exceeded our expectations. It was compact but so comfy. Jennifer our host was incredibly accommodating and welcoming and we felt right at home as soon as we arrived. Loved eating at the Crown too. The whole property is so beautifully decorated.

This accommodation was perfect for myself and my partner. It was much bigger than we expected and it was furnished to a very high standard. It was very clean and the staff were all very helpful.
