We stayed in Owl Lodge and it was everything we wanted it to be and more. Easy self-check in but Sarah was on hand for everything we needed and she was lovely too! We were attending Big Church Festival just a few miles away so the location was great. The Windmill Inn just down the road was fab too, a really nice pub, lovely food, with genuinely caring service. Owl Lodge was clean and comfortable and really well thought out in terms of fixtures and fittings. The bed was so comfy and the hot tub was a real treat each day.

We struggled to work out the hob so some instructions would be handy (although Sarah came to our rescue straight away!) Also, there is no path on the road, so walking from the Lodge to anywhere was not the most relaxing experience, although the road is quite quiet.

We wanted somewhere within easy reach of Brighton. Arrived for our two night stay and were greeted by Sarah and shown to our room. The bedroom was well furnished, spotlessly clean and spacious. The chairs made a comfortable addition to the room and made it a home from home. Breakfast was served in our room (table and chairs by the window) and consisted of juice, cereal, yogurts, toast, eggs and croissants. Plenty of choices for hot drinks and tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Excellent for a short stay!

Everything was lovely! The only thing I can think of is a piece of fruit e.g. banana, or some berries for breakfast.

Exceptionally clean, lovely spacious room with a big comfy bed in a peaceful location. Breakfast served to the room was thoroughly enjoyable. The host Sarah was thoughtful and very accommodating, even getting our breakfast especially early as we were off to Goodwood first thing. Priced very fairly considering we booked over the Goodwood festival time. We will definitely be revisiting should we attend Goodwood or are staying in the area for any other reasons.

Can't fault anything with our stay.

Absolutely gorgeous property. So easy to find and the hosts were so helpful. Everything was thought about, the kitchen had enough room and equipment to cook a whole 5 course meal if you wanted to. Even down to a water filter jug, it was all thought about. The finish on the property was exceptional. Absolutely loved the wooden architrave. I arrived in the freezing cold night, to find that Sarah had put the heating on so when I arrived I stepped straight into a lush warm environment. Everything was spotless. I honestly cannot find a single negative. I will be staying here every time I come down for business purposes. Thanks for being such lovely hosts.

Nothing!

Breakfast was great. Shower pressure was incredible (If a little difficult to turn the tap.) Bed was excellent. The owners were lovely. Amenities were great too - we were attending a wedding and needed am iron etc to get ready in the morning which we requested and was ready in waiting for us in the room.

If pushed I'd say I'd love a proper ironing board, not just a small travel sized. And My wife probably could have used a plug nearer the mirror to help with curling her hair.

No traditional English breakfast. For my wife and I that suited us fine. Eating breakfast sitting at the table overlooking an excellent rear garden was so different from most hotel locations. The clear weather exemplified the beauty of the location, helped by horses in the field beyond and the South Downs on the distant horizon. Such good hosts, friendly and helpful. I cannot in all faith find fault.

Nothing to dislike.

Sarah was a wonderful host, really friendly and made me feel welcome. The Fern Room was lovely and spacious, and really well decorated. It had everything you could need like tea/coffee/milk, cotton pads/buds etc. The room was cleaned thoroughly. The bed was comfortable and I had a great night sleep. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with an amazing array of food. This B&B is well worth the money and I would definitely stay again if I was in the area.

There was honestly nothing to criticise.

The most perfect break away, Sarah has thought of everything to make the stay faultless. Everything you could need & more for a relaxing break. Spotlessly clean cosy lodge, with the hot tub as a fabulous addition. Quiet, calm location, beautiful walks leading to some friendly local pubs- PERFECT.

Only negative was having to leave, could have stayed longer!

5 ⭐️ Lovely location, spotless, excellent facilities and Sarah and Steve could not of been more friendly or helpful. Lovely breakfast served in your room with lots of choice. Recommend the fresh fruit, scrambled eggs & homemade jam. Nice large room with lovely en-suite with great shower. Even a well stocked fridge on the landing with soft drinks and snacks with an honesty box if you got the midnight munchies!! Lovely touch. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in this amazing area and look forward to staying there again. Can also recommend the Windmill Pub for food which was just a 10-15 minute walk away.

The cottage was brand new. We were the first to stay there. Property clean and well equipped. The owner, Sarah was very helpful.

The Jacuzzi was not as featured on booking com. It was not private and overlooked the car park. There was lots of equipment and sacks and material all around the property which detracted from the experience. The quirky bifold doors on the bathroom and bedroom were hard to close.
