I had a lovely stay at the Maldron Hotel Brighton. The hotel is cosy, bright, and has a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel at ease from the moment you arrive. Everything was spotlessly clean, and I really appreciated how well the room was maintained throughout my stay. The staff were both friendly and professional, always polite and ready to help with anything I needed. It was a nice touch to have my room refreshed and water left for me — small details that make a big difference. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-run hotel in Brighton.

Lovely room, nicely decorated. Excellent location. As a solo traveler I was very comfortable. Cooked breakfast really nice but needed more fruit options and more than just Nutella and a scraping of cheap jam for my toast, some marmalade perhaps.

Room was excellent for one but a squash for two I think. Would not care for 3. Small room for a double and single bed. I enjoyed the double and used the single for my suitcase and clothes etc. No space for suitcases or to put belongings, just a small hanging space with iron , ironing board.

Very clean, wonderful staff, firm beds.

No free parking - parking opposite was £28 The bar area was a bit cold and not inviting in appearance, not really any personality - more functional. Duvets were very thick - too thick for me to sleep under at a comfortable temperature. Room thermostat only went DOWN to 19 degrees - too hot with the super thick duvets. Tiny silly size room cups that you can’t get a finger into to hold. Daft selection if you ask me - which you are with this review questionnaire - hehe. Please get sensible mugs with reasonable handles or your floors will see more coffee than the clients manage to drink!

Shower excellent step free access for mobility challenged individuals. Breakfast good.

Reception staff ignored me when I arrived and each time I approached them if they were busy, deliberately not making eye contact. Staff should make eye contact even if they can’t interact directly with me at the time.

Staff very Friendly helpful and accommodating. we were allowed to check in 2 hours before the normal checking in time it was well received and very much appreciated so we could hit the beach without suitcases. room very cleaned well stock up.

We arrived for Breakfast before 9.00 and there wasn't a lot left in terms of juices pastries cakes no fruits available. Nothing was being top up, it was a bit of a disappointment as I have stayed before and the selection was much bigger. My room did not have a window it was a bit of a disappointment but I did not ask to move rooms so only my fault. It wasn't clear when I booked that the room had no windows, I have learned my lesson.

The beds were huge and comfortable, the pillows were firm which for me was great. Breakfast is just amazing, I can't think of anything that wasn't available, they really have got you covered. From gluten free to vegan or a full English cooked breakfast and it's replenished regularly throughout the morning so it's always fresh and hot. It's close to the beach, the shopping centre and a short walk from the lanes and there are buses to literally anywhere you might want to go from Churchill square which is a five minute walk away.

I booked for four people 1adult and 3 children, when I arrived we had been provided with an additional bed in the room which was fine except I booked and paid for 4 and received facilities for 3 and it made an already small space feel a little claustrophobic. We made the best of it. The thing that really did bother me was the complete lack of storage space, there was a tiny wardrobe with about six hangers and not another single inch of storage space, we had to store everything in the suitcases which was an absolute pain when trying to get three children ready in the morning!

Easy downhill walk from the train station, in about 15 minutes. Located close to the seafront and town centre. Everything looked clean, fresh and new. Easy check in. Easy check-out using the self-service screens. Lifts and stairwells needed a roomcard to use, which we thought was a good security feature, which we had not seen before at other hotels we have used. There were three lifts so never had to wait long for one to reach our floor. We stayed in a family room on the fourth floor with a double and single bed. Beds were close together but not a problem. The beds were comfortable but as we are used to sleeping in a superking, felt small to us. There was a small table and armchair in the room and a flat screen TV. Complimentary bottled water, tea & coffee and biscuits provided and replenished daily. Hanging space with space for your luggage and hangers, iron, ironing board & hairdryer provided in the room and a safe. No dressing table or desk but there was a shelf under the TV which was sufficient for us and a fill length mirtor. Bathroom was spacious. The walk in rainfall shower was very nice and handwash, shower gel and shampoo provided were nice. Large mirror which was heated & cleared quickly agter using the shower which was useful. Breakfast was self serve with a nice range of cooked and continental options, breads and pastries. The bar and restaurant area was nice to sit and have a drink when we returned to the hotel in the evening. Toilets in the lobby were spacious and clean.

Breakfast was busy. On two mornings we had to sit and wait for a table, but the wait was no more than 15 minutes so was not too bad. There are two coffee machines which there was always a queue for. The continental section was rather deplinished by the time we got there and i never saw it refilled, but we prefer a cooked breakfast anyway and that section was always fully stocked. The air con in the room was limited to 19 degrees. We like a cooler room and the weather was hot and humid the days when we visited and so this was a little frustrating for us. Not enough toilet paper in the bathroom for a family of 3.

Modern, clean and situated well for all places to see and do in the city center. Right next to a car park too. Next to the sea. Clean modern rooms. Good air con and comfy beds.

We stayed two nights. Went out the second day didn’t get back untill 3pm, room service hasn’t been done yet. When they did knock to do the service it was around 4pm and we needed to be in the room. We missed out on the free bottled water due to the room not being serviced that day . Asked front desk after 10pm if we could get the free bottled water we missed earlier, but they wanted to charge us. A small thing but was quite annoying. Suggested we could fill a jug from the bar.

We stayed during a very busy period (graduations, school summer holiday and the build up to pride weekend), but all the staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful despite the obvious increased capacity and workload. If they were under pressure, they hid it tremendously well from all the guests.

The only complaint I have (and it's nitpicking really) is that we had run out of the basic room supplies, i.e., toilet roll and milk, and our bin was full. This was easily rectified by housekeeping after I left our bin outside our room with the 'we are out. Please refresh our room' sign'

I travelled with my family and we booked 3 bedrooms. We were highly impressed with the quality of the hotel, cleanliness and services. They allocated 3 rooms together, the size of all of them was fantastic, all very new and clean, the beds and pillows very confortable. The hotel in general is fantastic, very well located in front of the seaside and close to everywere. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of different options and the restaurant was lovely. I will highly reccomend this hotel and for sure that next year when I am back to Brighton I will book it again. Thanks for all your kindness during our stay

Parking options in Brighton are extremely expensive, however this is not hotels fault. They sent us a voucher for a parking however even with the voucher it was very expensive and we finally choose a different parking with better prices. In reality there is nothing negative to say about the hotel, all was perfect.
