The Beach Hotel in Brighton is an extremely good family friendly hotel. We felt very safe staying in this hotel. The hotel staff were all very courteous, friendly and helpful. The room was spacious with an excellent sea view, large comfy beds and very clean bathroom. The Breakfast Room was clean with friendly staff and an excellent choice of food. During the night the hotel was very peaceful with no unwanted noises to disturb our sleep. All round it's an excellent hotel in every respect. We will definitely stay at this hotel again next time we are in Brighton.

location was excellent with car parking just over the road, reception staff were very friendly and informative. the room although in the basement was very light and spacious. good size bathroom and comfy bed.

when we went down the stairs to the basement the stairwell had an awful smell to it which disappeared once we moved further up the corridor. breakfast was nice , good selection and a small buffet type cooked breakfast, however the bacon was smoked, which if you liked smoked bacon it was ok, but if you don't like myself then not so good

I arrived early to the beach hotel they gave us the room about 130 they gave the ground floor and the room was very big and clean and excellent it was nice some nice size as well This room it was really nice and the bed was really soft I'm clean and oh I slept way wearing this bed The breakfast staff are very friendly and happy people and also they said that we could have when it was check out they let us have the room a bit longer to 12 the man to hold me on days the night before and I was quite happy here so they are on the full staff and they do talk to the manager is very nice for as well so I hope that he reads this and I would recommend this hotel to anybody we need a hotels as they go to the beach hotel they have nice bet with yoghurt 8 beans Mushroom bacon sausage tea and toast and juice

No I don't have any thought here and this hotel I'd recommend it for any day to anybody and I would come back here again I always come back and thank you very much for having us go out the beach hotel

Fantastic location. Lovely views of the sea big room.breakfast included. Staff all friendly. This was our 5th stay.alot of same staff.

All ok. Bedroom newly decorated. Large bed, head board dosnt sit square with bed. Bathroom mix match of tiles, tops of taps missing. Trouser press,not that we wanted it behind tv. Two mobile heaters in room but behind chairs. Two luggage stands folded but no where to utilise them!!! No control to turn radiater off. Still thunk great value for money

To start with the staff were excellent, from the reception to the dining area we couldn’t fault them at all, they were polite, friendly and very efficient. The location of the hotel was superb right opposite the i360, with great views of the sea from our bedroom window and with a balcony too. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the room was clean and tidy and during our stay it was quiet both in the hotel and outside. The reception area and dining room were clean and tidy and the decor was good. The breakfast was plentiful with a range of cereals, fruit, yoghurt and English breakfast which consisted of sausages, bacon, scrambled egg, beans, mushrooms and toast. This was topped up frequently with freshly cooked replacements and no one seem to have to wait for anything. The staff were ultra efficient and cleared the tables as people left and replaced crockery and cutlery. The cost for a nights stay was great too.

The bed was a super king size but didn’t have a super king duvet it was more like a king or double so it just touched the sides which we would have been fighting over for most of the night, fortunately there were two single duvets in the cupboard so we used one of those as well. The bin was rusty in the bathroom (this could easily be rectified by replacing with plastic ones) as was the radiator and soap holder in the shower, this must be due to the extractor unit not being efficient enough. But besides this we would happily stay there again 😀.

We always choose this hotel when staying in Brighton mainly because of the excellent location and great value for money. The hotel is historic with a lot of character and charm and breakfast is included in the price. We loved the twin room we had on the 4th floor with a wonderful view of the sea and Regency Square. It was perfect for our needs and we will be back again.

There was nothing we didn't like. The only thing we could say is that there are limited plug sockets but this is to be expected with an old building. Not a problem for us.

The position of the hotel was right on the money for us, just a hundred metres away from the i360 which we were due to visit. The Regency restaurant, adjacent to the hotel served excellent food too. We were informed that the hotel and restaurant are owned by the same group. From the room bedroom window we could see the i360 and sea beyond. Just the ticket. The bed was an enormous queen size bed and very comfortable. The room was spacious and clean. Tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryer and toiletries all available with extra bedding if required. An iron and ironing board are also available. The breakfast was superb and an excellent choice offered. We have already recommended to others and will definitely stay again.

The bathroom was very narrow and a little tired. The bedroom furniture was also a little tired and rickety, but we could live with that, for the rate we paid. Although breakfast was plentiful and well presented, the timing of serving it up was too quick. We were still consuming our cereal when the plates of breakfast and toast was delivered. The very pleasant and friendly staff should have just waited for us to finish our cereal and asked if we were ready for the cooked breakfast. It's just a timing thing, nothing else.

Excellent location for a visit! Walking from the hotel along the sea was very nice; Brighton by day and by night. Not far from the train station; we walked with 2 suitcases from the station to the hotel; it was not tiring at all by going through the city center. Seafront and the beach was just in front of the hotel; the excellent restaurant just below (The Regency Restaurant - seafood dishes!). Very good choice for breakfast, given the size of the hotel. We loved it! The hotel staffs (front desk - breakfast team) were very resourceful!

Excellent breakfast. Choice of yogurt and cereal from buffet plus some fresh fruit. Service was great. Excellent value as breakfast for our stay was complementary. Although our room was a little dated (brown furniture). The bed super comfortable

Bathroom in our room was very small. May benefit from full bath being removed, in favour of shower cubicle. Also, because the kettle for tea & coffee in room, was full sized, it didn't fit under hand basin tap.I had to lean over the bath, which was really awkward, as only about 40cm between bath and the wall.
