The location is incredible. The style of the hotel is absolute perfection, every detail feels thoughtfully curated. I especially loved the subtle nods to Brighton throughout; they added such a unique, local charm. The furniture, beds, and bedding were all divine. It was stylish, comfortable, and luxurious. It’s clear a lot of care has gone into creating a beautiful and memorable stay for every guest. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed warmly by the exceptional front of house team, who guided us seamlessly through our stay. Arriving early, we enjoyed a cocktail on the terrace, expertly recommended and crafted by a wonderful bartender. It’s clear that whoever is hiring and training the team is doing an incredible job; the staff genuinely seem to love what they do, and the attention to detail is world class. The complimentary guest pantry was a lovely touch and such a treat. With fantastic food, drinks, and service, plus unbeatable sea views, this hotel truly offers the perfect stay.

Nothing. Our stay was perfect and I will be recommending this hotel group to all of my friends and family.

Breakfast food excellent - eggs benedict, smoked salmon etc in addition to traditional english. Everything table service. Easy walk to restaurants and Royal Pavilion. Love the pantry for extra naughty treats. Room small but very comfortable with kettle, coffee maker and fresh milk in the frig. Highlight was massage treatment in the spa with Amanda. The best I have had for many years. Staff all excellent.

Several mornings coffee or tea not hot but replaced quickly. Hanging space but no further storage as shelves too narrow. Kept most things in the suitcase so no big deal. No time for a cocktail in the bar!

The hotel decor is stunning throughout, and the smallest details have been taken care of. This plus the friendly and helpful staff and the delightful spa make this a fantastic addition to Brighton's hotel scene. I will definitely be back.

Pearly Cow restaurant is nice, but nothing to write home about foodwise. The room was also really hot which didn't go well with a heavy meal. All the food was well cooked and well sourced, but it was all pretty standard. There is no wow factor, and it is not cheap. Strangely, when I visited you could not order a side of vegetables unless it was a green salad. It is convenient if you are staying in the hotel, but there are other better restaurants in Brighton.

Breakfast was included in my booking. It was truly a feast and a treat for the taste buds

I didn't like that the sweetie shop was free and so accessible! Honestly, No. 124 could not have been better located or equipped. And I haven't even mentioned the LP in the bedroom or the lush Wildsmith products. Would not consider staying anywhere else in Brighton and looking forward to seeing what the spa opening. Based on my experience I would actively seek out other Guesthouse locations.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at 124 Guesthouse Brighton – it truly exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. Jamie at reception was incredibly welcoming, as was his colleague (a gentleman whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch), and a lovely member of staff kindly helped me carry my bags to the car – which I was especially grateful for as I’m currently heavily pregnant. Their kindness and attentiveness genuinely made a difference. We stayed in a sea view room with a balcony, and it was simply stunning. Every little detail had been thoughtfully considered – from fresh milk in the fridge for tea, to a record player, fresh water in the room, and access to a beautifully stocked pantry for snacks. The overall vibe of the hotel was gorgeous – stylish yet relaxed – and breakfast was delicious and well worth it. We were visiting for an anniversary trip, and the experience couldn’t have been more perfect. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Nothing could have been better. It was perfect.

Proximity to the sea front and my daughter who lives in Hove. Also it’s a nicely appointed place Where we Felt welcomed.

The lee should be beach towels available as you are situated across the road from the sea. They can be easily recognisable as your towels and if taken you could charge for them. I was told we couldn’t use the hotel towels by one person and the opposite by another. I did use the towels with care and consideration. But I wanted to swim both mornings. I didn’t expect to travel to a hotel and be told that wasn’t a available.

Great central location. Beautiful interior design and artwork which I loved and attention to detail, good coffee machine in room and record player too! Very friendly, helpful staff who made you feel very welcome. Great breakfast. Nice touch of fresh milk in the fridge in our room. My husband loved the pantry!

Only a small niggle that I did mention. Someone had set the radio alarm for 6am in the room. Not what you want on a Sunday morning!! Sure this will be rectified and checked in future. I would have loved a magnifying mirror in the bathroom.

The staff are super friendly and kind. Decor is well designed and each section tells its own story. From the relaxing breakfast lounge, to the delightful spa with its attentive masseuses, to the patio under the blue sky of Brighton with a vista of the sea. What more could you ask for. We stayed in Room 28 which was a top floor marvel of space and people watching. It was our first time, but not our last.

Nothing. Loved every minute we were there.

Fantastic location, extremely welcoming as soon as you arrive, gorgeous decoration, loved the ‘sweet’ room, great touch, bedroom beautiful, windows galore, bathroom and toiletries on point, my favourite thing was the chilled out music as I walked in… set the scene for the most perfect stay! Staff were so friendly and had a lovely chat with the barman( bless him ) on my return for a nightcap after my night out seeing Ric Stein in town. Memories made job done X

Obviously nothing 😁

staff were friendly and a nice quirky hotel

The hotel were happy to give us rooms next to each other but the beds were a standard double in each room and too small for two people in the same standard double bed so I requested a twin room for my 2 daughters which I thought I had already requested and they accommodated us which was kind. Also the handles on each bedroom door are impossible to open - really tricky
